Dieses aktualisierte 2-stöckige Bauernhaus-Stil Haus verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss, alle mit Queen-Betten und Memory-Foam-Matratzen. Eine weitere im Erdgeschoss wohnen / Schlafzimmer verfügt über original eingebaute Bücherregale und ein Queen-Size-Schlafsofa. Das Haus verfügt über 2 Badezimmer, 2 Wohnzimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspüler, Kabel-TV und Waschmaschine und Trockner. Eine zweiseitige Wraparound-Veranda bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Neuen Hafen und den Atlantischen Ozean. Nur wenige Schritte von State Beach und Scotch Beach, ist das Haus nur eine Meile und eine Hälfte von den Geschäften, Restaurants, Bars und Fährhafen von Old Harbour. Der Mietpreis beinhaltet alle Bettwäsche, Badetücher und Strandtücher. Während der Monate Juli-September, vermietet diese Eigenschaft von Samstag bis Samstag (kürzere Aufenthalte werden berücksichtigt, aber Daten müssen zwischen Samstagen fallen.)

Scenic gem

Historic home has best views of the Island. This excellent central location has plenty of space for multiple families and is walkable to ocean beaches. Owner was a pleasure and made our stay easy.

Fall Island Getaway

We had a relaxing long weekend at the Block Island house. Excellent location with great views of both sunrise and sunset. Very comfortable and clean accommodations. Hunter, our golden retriever enjoyed the large property to roam around. Would come back.

Spectacular View

Perfection

This house was perfect for our family reunion -- family ranging from baby Finn (just turned 2) to the patriarch (80!). The location was perfect -- walk to the beach or sit on the wraparound porch and watch the boats in New Harbor. And cheer the sunset every night. The house itself is beautiful -- vaulted bead board ceiling in the kitchen, and Victorian details throughout. We all loved it.

Perfect location

The location was perfect since our son got married at the Sullivan House. Also being across the street from the beach was wonderful. The views of the great salt pond were terrific. Lots of bedrooms allowed us to host extra family. Although only one bathroom on the 2nd floor can be challenging. It wasn't the cleanest, but clearly it had the Block Island charm. We were very happy with the house.

We could not be happier with our stay! You absolutely can not beat the location and views this house has to offer. The host was very quick to respond to every question. New fridge, well stocked kitchen, super easy check-in check-out. The mattresses were cozy. The porch and yard are the best places to hang out! Amazing setting and location

This house is in the perfect spot! Porch was unbelievable for sunsets and the short walk to the beach was ideal. Kids and dog loved the large lawn. It's an old house, so there are some old house things- doors that don't shut tightly, etc... but overall we were so wowed by the location that everything else was an afterthought. Check in couldn't have been easier and communication was a breeze. Thank you!

Dark and stormy on the Block

Despite the fact that Mother Nature did not cooperate, staying at O'Brien's house made up for that. The house is spacious, clean and has fantastic views. Phil was so accommodating and made us feel quite welcome. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

Another Great Week on BI

This is our 2nd time time renting this house and once again we had a great experience. This house is roomy, close to beaches and town, and has amazing harbor views. The hosts are available and very responsive to any questions. We are definitely looking forward to our next visit.

Charming Seaside Retreat

Our family (grandparents, adult children, grandson & 2 little dogs) loved staying at this cozy, historic farmhouse for an extended weekend. The front porch facing the bay is perfect for relaxing, reading & just visiting. We loved the large lawn and easy, beautiful walk to the beach & town. The hosts were gracious & very responsive.

Great September Vacation

We had a wonderful experience staying at this property. The house was large, clean, had comfy mattresses, and had everything we needed for a week long stay. The porch overlooking the harbor was amazing at anytime of the day, and the location of the property was very convenient with respect to the beaches and town. We liked this property so much that we already booked it for a return trip next season.

Great location, needs TLC

A mixed experience: Wonderful location, beach access and view! The lovely host family made us feel welcome and made an effort to stock the kitchen with requested items However, certain kitchen basics were lacking. and cleanliness and comfort were variable. The downstairs bedroom (which our group needed) was inadequate due to the condition of the sofa bed and musty odor.

Fabulous location and views!

Fabulous owners! Made great memories! Super spacious and location couldn’t be better! Only negatives were kitchen wasn’t stocked very well with serving pieces, dishwasher only had bottom rack and pulled out from the counter, and below the kitchen sink had a bad odor. Also saw some mold on the ceilings in some parts of the house. Could use some updating. Thanks sooo very much for your hospitality:)

Thanksgiving getaway

My wife and I and our dog stayed here over Thanksgiving week. Kirsten was extremely helpful and responsive. The check in and out process was great and they were very flexible with regard to ferry times. Beautiful location with great views of the bay and across the street from the beaches. The house is old and charming and well furnished. The property could use some updates but we would definitely stay here again. The communication with Kirsten was so helpful and made us feel welcome.
