Geräumiges Oceanfront Beach House auf der wunderschönen, historischen und malerischen AMELIA ISLAND, die einen der schönsten Strandabschnitte am nördlichen Ende des Fernandina Beach bietet. Sie werden nicht nur den Ozean sehen können, sondern auch den Intracoastal Waterway. Es ist nicht ungewöhnlich, alle Arten von Booten, Schiffen und sogar U-Booten zu sehen. Ihre Aussicht auf den Ozean erlaubt es Ihnen auch, verschiedene Meerestiere wie Delfine, Wale, Meeresschildkröten usw. zu sehen und Sanddünen zum Strand sind "nur 25 Fuß über eine leicht befahrene Sandstraße".

Dieses Strandhaus ist sehr komfortabel und bietet Platz für bis zu 25 Personen und verfügt über (8) Schlafzimmer und (5) Badezimmer. Schlafgelegenheiten können (1) Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett, (6) Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett, (1) Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, (1) King Murphy Bett, (1) Doppel Murphy Bett, (2) Doppel-Futons und (1) Twin Roll-a - Wegbett. Inn the Beginning ist ein typisches älteres Florida Oceanfront Beach House mit viel eigenem Charme und Persönlichkeit. Es wurde 1956 erbaut und 1999 erweitert und im Laufe der Jahre renoviert, um es unseren Gästen noch angenehmer zu machen. The Beach House ist ideal für große Familien oder Gruppen, sowie Familientreffen, Hochzeiten, Jubiläen, Retreats, Partys, Tagungen und viele andere Arten von Anlässen oder Veranstaltungen.

Es gibt viele andere geräumige Zimmer und mehrere Oceanfront Decks in diesem Beach House. Es umfasst ein großes Zimmer, einen großen Essbereich, (2) Küchen (komplett ausgestattet) und (2) Waschküchen. Es hat zentrale Klimaanlage und Heizung und einige AC Window Units und individuelle Heizungen.

Dieses Strandhaus verfügt über viele Ocean Front Decks, abgeschirmten Veranda, Terrasse, (2) Outdoor-Duschen und einen privaten Parkplatz. Es gibt zusätzliche Annehmlichkeiten wie WLAN, Kabel und Flachbild-TV im Great Room und Dining Room Area, und eines der (5) Badezimmer hat einen Jacuzzi.

Es gibt viele lustige und aufregende Aktivitäten, Veranstaltungen, Abenteuer und entspannende Dinge auf Fernandina Beach und Amelia Island, wie Touren, Festivals, Radfahren, Reiten, Angeln und Bootfahren, Tauchen, Theater, Golf, Tennis, Spas und viele andere für alle Altersgruppen, Gruppen und Einzelpersonen. Ein olympisches öffentliches Schwimmbad mit Kiddie-Pool und Pool-Lift für Rollstuhlfahrer befindet sich nur wenige Gehminuten oder eine 2-minütige Fahrt vom Inn the Beginning Oceanfront Beach House entfernt.

Um Ihnen bei Ihrem Besuch behilflich zu sein, gibt es ein Büro und ein Wohnquartier für Will, unser Care Taker, befindet sich auf dem Grundstück für Ihre Bequemlichkeit im Inn the Beginning Oceanfront Beach House.

Thanksgiving Beach Family Time
Beautiful location, views are stunning and to be able to walk a few steps to the beach was a joy! The kitchen and living areas was great. My sister didn't get to come, she ended up in the hospital, but had she come it would have been hard for her to climb the stairwell from the bedrooms to the living & dining areas. The stairs need to be mentioned in the listing, so if there is someone with physical handicaps they would be prepared. Other than that, it was a great place for large families! The owner/contact people were great and wonderful to work with, allowing us a bit early to check in. We were wowed by the fact we could sit in the living room and see the sun rise over the ocean! A jewel!

Unsafe and not like described
First, we would never have booked the property had we known someone lives on the premises. The listing states he has separate quarters, but those separate quarters are on the property. We were not told about this until 15 minutes before we arrived, when it was much too late to cancel or find another property. We also were told the house cleaner didn’t have time to switch the bedding and that there would be clean sheets sitting on each bed, which we would have been ok with. But, not only was there not enough clean sheets for all the beds, but there were still piles of dirty laundry sitting in the rooms as well as dirty towels hanging in the bathrooms. I attempted to call about the laundry situation, but never got ahold of them. At one point, my 6 year old daughter and I were heading from the kitchen to the sitting room, we opened the double doors and the door fell right off the hinges falling directly on my foot. There were also quite a few things that were unsafe for a vacation with so many children (we had a 2 year old, 3 year old, 4 year old, 6 year old triplets and a 10 year old). The front of the oven has nothing to protect it, we found screws and nails on the floor, there were multiple tiles and planks both inside and out that were loose. There are ants in the cupboards, mouse droppings throughout the house, mice seen running under the bed, broken glass next to the refrigerator. As far as check in goes, there was no code lockbox as stated.

This property had numerous safety violations, unsanitary conditions and according to city officials is operating illegally without a Short Term Rental Permit. We had to relocate our family of 18 people overnight. Complete disaster.

Advertised as premier property. Construction in progress, trash on grounds, mold, insects, mouse in bedroom, condensation dripping on kitchen table. Everyone developed respiratory issues during week. Loose railing on deck ( not safe for 2 year old). Good parking for multiple vehicles. Doors (2) wouldn't latch. Should rent for 4200-4500 instead of pricing for premier rental. Good beach access

We had a wonderful stay at this ocean view home. Easy access to the beach. All bedrooms are downstairs with 3 bathrooms down there. Living, kitchen, and dining area and 2 more bathrooms upstairs. Deck is still being remodeled at this time. Stove and dishwasher in second kitchen did not work but other kitchen did. This is an older home but we had a great stay. Suggestions are to update appliances in second kitchen and boost internet as it is slow. Worked great though for our group of 20.

So much to say about God’s Glory! Pros: - Lots of space/beds/parking. We had a group of 12 with us/6 couples and we all had a bed, with extra beds to spare. - Location - RIGHT on the beach, with beautiful view of the ocean from the outdoor deck - Host allowed us early check-in/late check-out which was really appreciated - Outdoor shower/spicket to wash off feet - 2 kitchens with fridges to accommodate food for large groups Cons: - Construction/updates: Currently there is a large deck extension being built that is about 10% complete. The outdoor deck that does exist is lovely, but there is no overhead shade. There were also some open electrical boxes - No beach toys/chairs, also no beach towels although listing mentions them - A few scary bugs Overall, we enjoyed our stay - we are a group of friends in our late 20s so it met our needs well, but not sure if this would be the best spot for a group with children because of the current construction going on. It was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone but it definitely needs some maintenance and renovation. The outdoor space was great but there was no shade or cover so it was hard to enjoy in the middle of the day and in the rain. Also, please be advised the caretaker lives in separate quarters in the same house, but he did not contact or disturb us at all and was very quiet. Disingenuous Description
Our group had a fun stay on Amelia Island, but it was in spite of this cottage, not because of it. I invited four couples to join my wife and I for a long weekend and expected that the cottage would be a rustic beachfront house where "upgrades were in progress." This proved to be misleading. First of all, this is not a house... it is a dormitory. There are no bedrooms, there is a hallway with rooms on either side that have a bed in them. None of the rooms have a private bath and, in fact, two of the bathrooms are upstairs where there are no rooms with beds. The bathrooms appear to have the original plumbing and fixtures from the 1950's. The furniture is spartan and beyond dated. The yard is littered with junk and has no landscaping. The house does not have central A/C, there are free-standing A/C units in each room. They work ok but are loud and cut on/off abruptly. There are not enough towels, and the ones they do have are of poor quality. The only "upgrade" that was in progress is that a new deck is 10% completed. The front of the house has "Do Not Enter" signs menacing the street, and the city of Fernandina Beach has posted a cease/desist order on a deck post. The cottage does have positives: the view is spectacular. The access to the beach is convenient. The useable section of the deck is OK. There is enough parking for 4-5 vehicles. While most of the rooms are tight, the beds are comfortable. The main kitchen is adequate, the 2nd one too remote to use.

The space was more than adequate! The views were the most amazing thing ever!! Location was perfect! Having the two kitchens worked perfect for our gathering. Property does need some maintenance but the quirky style is very captivating. We didn't plan on spending to much time inside the property anyways so the multiple decks and sitting areas suited us just fine. We do plan on making this an annual vacation and would choose this home again.

Great Location. Needs major repairs
The good: The location was superb. Plenty of parking, plenty of space. Great views from the deck. The AC kicked butt, every room had at least one AC unit. The bad: The property needs a lot of work. Cosmetically its a 1980s house that has not been updated. Crazy layout and lots of stairs, step-ups, etc. not ideal for older folks but my grandparents did manage okay. The wifi did not work and we were told to use our hotspot. Check in was a bit weird as I never received any instructions. Some of the beds are okay, others feel like pull-out mattresses. The Ugly: There are multiple leaks and we had to rearrange sleeping accommodations due to people having leaks in their bed. It rained pretty hard and there was a literal waterfall coming in all over the 240v electrical plug the dryer was plugged into. There is def mold in the house, be careful if someone has strong reactions. I can’t say I would stay again, but we did not let the house ruin our weekend. I booked before the latest string of bad reviews but they are not lying. I hope they address some of the issues because it’s not fair to take peoples money and provide an accommodation in that shape. It’s not just dated, it’s dated and slightly hazardous.

Perfect long weekend
I brought a group of my staff to celebrate the end of a great year for some R&R. House was clean and served all of our adventurous needs. Proximity to the beach was the best feature and the sun rise was stunning! One of my staff left her Apple Watch and the host was kind enough to have it mailed back and follow up to ensure it was received. We appreciate that and thank you for getting it back to her!

Beach Flop
This place was a real disappointment. While there are a lot of bedrooms, the beds themselves are very uncomfortable, one bed is completely unusable. You’d think with the money they charge they could provide new mattresses. The layout is so twisted with awkward steps between floors. Bathrooms look like they were tiled by middle schoolers. Mold in bathrooms and rusty vents. The deck is shot with nails poking up. Not kid friendly or senior friendly at all. The only thing it has going for it is the view and the beach setting. I wish I would have read the reviews on this before I booked

Very disappointing experience.
The house was dirty and filled with mold. The air conditioning units are not sufficient for that size of house and all air vents drip water. Many doors aren’t properly sealed which allows heat in. It appeared that minimal is done to keep this house maintained. Will not be returning.

Not what was expected from pictures and previous reviews!
The house is in need of major repairs but the on-site care taker doesn’t seem to be in the physical condition to take care of the property. Multiple rooms had water pouring in them when it rains. The Wi-Fi is only accessible in the living room. When you walk out of the living room, the Wi-Fi signal drops. The showers had moldy caulking, the air vents were all black with mold, the ceiling below the steps in the hall was covered in mold & falling down. The entire house has a musky smell. We contacted the care taker multiple times with issues & he did what he could. Other times he actually asked the men in our party to fix things he wasn’t able to do. We had to buy duck tape to tape air conditioner vents. The gas stove was out of gas during our stay & we had to purchase our own gas. Some rooms were so hot that you couldn’t stay in them. They had portable air conditioners, but it was still too hot. One bathroom has rotting baseboards & a moldy ceiling. Just a overall terrible stay.

Great time at the beach!
We all had a great time at Fernandia Beach. Overall the house was able to sleep 16 people comfortable. Knowing that it is an older beach house, you have to take this onto account. It has 2 kitchens which between the 2 has plenty of dishes, utensils and pots & pans but the gas stove did not work and a maintenance person did not show up to fix it although we were told there would be one coming. Their grill is nasty and luckily we had brought a backup since we were feeding 20 people for 3 nights. The other issue that was a concern was the uneven boards in the steps and the deck areas. Most of us tripped several times each during our visit there but no one got hurt. I just want to emphasize that every one had an awesome time there! There was fish caught, we saw turtles walking on the beach area, we saw a huge sea turtle swimming as well as seeing some dolphin swimming.

Great time with family
If you’re looking for a great time, good location then this place is for you. Not a luxury vacay home. Close to the beach, a great view, plenty of room. Plenty of cooking utensils, pots pans etc. Plenty of places to sit to eat. Bathrooms were clean and there are 5 of them. Favorite room to sleep in was the front large room with the pull down Murphy bed. Some areas that need taken care of: One bedroom with red carpet leaked during a storm; wind blew rain under the door and flooded the room (luckily no one was in that room) Second kitchen in the front of house: stove and burners didn’t work because the gas was out could put new gas tank because we didn’t have the tools. Two bedrooms in the front: mattresses were not comfortable sink in middle Freezer in the main kitchen wouldn’t make ice Internet didn’t work we used our hotspot but we were mainly at the beach, cooking, or playing games The man Will who lives on the property was walking through the house while we were in it because he got the dates of our departure messed up but that was cleared up with a quick phone call.

Worth the money
The house was nice and clean my experience was good only downside of my experience was that the kitchen had small sugar ants but it wasn’t a lot and the Wi-Fi didn’t work and I saw the house can be updated more and the beds too because you can feel the springs in the mattresses all the beds not like that but overall the house was in better shape than the pics make it look
