Plaidy ist ein atemberaubendes Apartment mit einem Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss und einem privaten Balkon mit Blick auf die Bucht von Looe, die Hafenmündung, den Strand und den Fluss. Beim Betreten des Grundstücks führt der Flur zur Wohnküche mit voll gefalteten Glastüren, die zum Balkon führen. Der Küchenbereich ist mit weißen Hochglanzelementen und Arbeitsplatten im Holzstil ausgestattet und komplett mit Geräten aus Edelstahl ausgestattet. Die Lounge verfügt über bequeme Ledersofas, einen 32-Zoll-Flachbild-TV mit DVD- und CD-Player und Surround-Sound mit zusätzlichen Lautsprechern im Badezimmer.
Das eigentliche Merkmal dieser Wohnung ist der private Balkon mit getönten Glasscheiben, von dem aus Sie einen atemberaubenden Panoramablick auf die Bucht von Looe haben. Egal, ob Sie hier draußen sitzen oder die Aussicht bei geöffneten Türen vom Essbereich aus genießen, Sie werden nicht enttäuscht sein.
Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Doppelbett und ein geräumiges Bad mit Badewanne und elektrischer Dusche. Dank der effizienten Gaszentralheizung ist Plaidy zu jeder Jahreszeit ein komfortabler Urlaubsort.

Traumaussicht

Die Wohnung ist klein, aber mit Allem ausgestattet, was man für einen perfekten Urlaub braucht. Auch wir hatten Probleme mit der Größe/Lage des Parkplatzes, aber uns wurde nach Anruf sofort ein anderer Parkplatz, der noch frei war, angeboten. Vielen Dank dafür noch einmal an Jason! Eine tolle Woche in Looe

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in Looe! Das Appartement ist super ausgestattet, der Blick auf den Strand und die Stadt einfach großartig (schwer, dabei etwas zu lesen, toll, einfach zu verschiedenen Zeiten auf das Geschehen zu schauen), tolle Restaurants fussläufig erreichbar (Tipp: Sardine Factory -yummi), Betreuung super schnell und freundlich - immer wieder gerne 😊

Great apartment, fabulous location

We loved this apartment. The view over the beach and the mouth of the river was stunning, and we spent much time watching the world go by. It’s just a few minutes walk to West Looe and to Hannafore. The car parking space is fine, except if you have a big car, but make sure you like steps as it’s a lofty 55 steps up to the car parking space!

Lovely Looe

The apartment was as described, clean (except for some damp on back wall of bedroom and bath could have been cleaner). The view from the balcony was exceptional. The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable. The balcony lights when switched on fused the other apartment lights, reported this to the maintenance contact but nothing done, a small issue but worth mentioning. The only real negative was the designated parking space which is very tight to say the least and the steep steps down to the apartment from the parking space. Highly recommend you park your car on the main road approximately 100 metres further along the road. Overall an excellent base to explore Looe and the wider area of this part of Cornwall with excellent public transport (bus and train) services which we made good use of.

Wonderful views of Looe

We enjoyed our stay in Looe but we got off to a very bad start. The property does indeed have a car space but as we only have a normal everyday car we were unable to use it as the space is only fit for a Smart car and if the space next to the one allocated is occupied I might still struggle to use it. We were told that at the end of the car park there were steps leading to our accommodation and this is true and would have been perfect had we come without food or luggage. As we were there for the week we had to find another way in and luckily we managed to park on the main road in order to unload. None of these potential difficulties were mentioned in the description when we booked. My wife’s first reaction when faced with the potential difficulties was to want to go home. Happily we did not do this and had a pleasant stay at the apartment which apart from anything else was very nice.

Perfect Apartment

Great place to stay. We had everything that we needed. Great view of beach and estuary with a spacious balcony. Easy walk into the town. Looe has some great restaurants,we ate in a different place ever night and none of them disappointed. Smugglers Cott and the Sardine Factory were the stand outs. We will book again for sure.

Stunning View!

Beautiful little apartment with a stunning views, everything you need for an enjoyable stay right there. On the ‘peaceful’ West side of Looe with views of East Looe but still with a few fabulous restaurants, cafe & food kiosks. We walked everywhere but could have got a bus, land train or ferry if so inclined. Only down side was the distance & size of the parking space but having chatted to the owner in future we would use the free parking spaces on Hannafore Point just a hundred yards up the road! Much easier! We absolutely loved Looe & the apartment & can’t wait to return! Im looking at available dates already! Thank you for a most needed relaxing week away in a perfect gem of a spot!

Perfection

We are regular visitors to Looe and have stayed in some very nice accommodation but for us, 'Plaidy' at Westcliff surpasses all. For a long time, we've searched for an apartment with a superb view of the sea and this exceeded our expectations as not only can you watch the rolling waves, the ebbing and flowing of the tide and the boats in the harbour, but you can look back towards the town and at night, watch the twinkling lights reflected in the water. It's magical and now we've found it, we will be more than happy to return, time and again.

Great location and a really relaxing stay

Plaidy is a very comfortable and well equipped apartment. We found it very clean and everything we wanted for a week's stay was there, excluding food of course. The access into the property is quite demanding, lots of steps, so you need to be quite fit, but it is well worth the effort. Parking in Looe is at a premium so you are very lucky with Plaidy to have allocated parking. The space and manoeuvring room, however, is very tight. I have an E-Class Mercedes and I found getting in and out tricky at times, particularly if the adjacent space parking is not well managed. All that said, we had a fantastic week and thank the owners of Plaidy apartment for giving us the opportunity to share what the property and location have to offer.
