Unschlagbare Ausblicke von jedem Level dieses 3-Level-Hauses aus! Dieses 2.200 Quadratmeter große Haus befindet sich auf einem 10 Hektar großen bewaldeten Grundstück am Little Portage Lake in Land O 'Lakes und ist die Definition von Northwoods Charme. Dies ist ein Jahr lang zu Hause mit einer gepflasterten Auffahrt Tonnen gemeinsamen Raum für jede Größe Gruppe oder Familie. Das Haus verfügt über einen hohen Holzkamin, Gewölbedecken und viel Schlafraum, darunter zwei Vollbäder und vier vermietbare Schlafzimmer. Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock mit einer Queen für 2; der zweite Stock See Zimmer mit einem Twin und einem Full für 3; und ein großes Schlafzimmer im zweiten Stock mit zwei Queens und einem Twin für 5. Es gibt zwei Etagenbetten, eines mit einem Rollbett im Keller sowie ein Hochbett für 6 Personen; (und eine ausklappbare Couch für weitere 1-2 Personen auch im begehbaren Keller). Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer neben der Kellertür mit einem Queensize-Bett für zwei weitere Personen und zwei Sofas und zwei Liebessitze im Wohnzimmer im ersten Stock, um bei Bedarf noch mehr Schlafraum zu schaffen. Der See verfügt über eine hervorragende Musky, Hechte und Forellenbarsch Angeln. Es gibt eine sandige 350-Fuß-Uferpromenade zum Genießen und sogar eine Seilschaukel zum Ausprobieren. Es gibt eine große Feuerschale aus Stahl auf der Wiese direkt am Deck für abendliche Lagerfeuer und S'mores !! Es gibt ein 19 '' motorisiertes Pontonboot, das Sie benutzen können, oder bringen Sie Ihr eigenes Boot und angeln Sie oder spielen Sie an einem der nahe gelegenen Seen. Während das Pontonboot den Gästen kostenlos zur Verfügung steht, ist es alt und manchmal wählerisch. Dementsprechend berechnen wir keine Gebühren für die Nutzung des Bootes oder schließen den Wert der Bootsmiete in die Preisgestaltung ein. Es ist da und wenn du es genießt, dann sei es so !! (In Mid-Fall werden Boot und Pier aus dem Wasser genommen, um Frostschäden zu vermeiden). In der Umgebung können Sie 30 Seen angeln. ATV-Strecken; Schneemobilwege Wanderpfade; Fahrradwege; Langlaufloipen; Abfahrtslauf; Besichtigung; Antiquitätengeschäfte in mehreren nahe gelegenen Städten; ausgezeichnete Restaurants, Bars und Supperclubs in Land O 'Lakes, Conover, Eagle River, Phelps, Watersmeet MI, Boulder, St. Germain, Minocqua, Presque Isle und Three Lakes; ein Golfplatz in Land O 'Lakes; schöner See der Wolken und Bond Falls im nahen UP; Schießstände in der Nähe; eine Kegelbahn in Land O 'Lakes und Kinos in Eagle River und Minocqua; Casinos in Watersmeet oder Lac Du Flambeau (Minocqua) und ganz einfach alt und entspannen und beobachten unsere ansässigen Bald Eagles direkt vor dem Pier an unserem See!

Fun stay

Had a great time at the cabin. The lake was quiet, boat was easy to use, and the property was beautiful. The 9 am checkout is a little rough, especially with little ones, but manageable if you just get everything set the night before. Otherwise everything else at the cabin was great. Would definitely go back.

Family vacay

This property had plenty of room for our family of 13. The kids loved the basement area to hang out. The kitchens and bathrooms were beautiful. Everything you could ever need was in the kitchen. There are a lot of steps down to the lake but it was good swimming even for the little kids. The water at the swimming raft was only about 4 1/2 feet deep. The home is only a few miles from town. Nice grocery store there, a cute park for kids. The adult kids in the family enjoyed lunch at an Indian restaurant while my sister and I (the grandmas) took the grandkids for ice cream. You are also only about 20 miles from Eagle River. The property has a wonderful screen room on the deck. Having to check out by 9:00 am is not ideal but we managed. The only thing I didn't like was how damp and musty the basement bedrooms smelled with the very same carpeting I had in the 80's. Overall I would recommend this property.

Family vacation

This house was perfect for our family. The well stocked kitchen was fantastic. The house was clean and comfortable. The lake was great for fishing and boating. The pontoon boat and kayaks were a definite plus as was the sandbox for young kids. Beautiful sunsets every night. If you have young children be sure to visit the Storybook Garden Park in town. The only issue we had was the requirement to wash and dry and fold all towels with a 9 am checkout (and a cleaning fee). This was very difficult especially since we had 11 people. Overall great place to stay. Ron was a very helpful and responsive host.

Great for families!

We absolutely loved our stay in Land O Lakes. The cabin is quintessential northwoods inside. The kitchen is fully stocked. There are ceiling fans everywhere to keep the air flowing. The view is just splendid! Little Portage lake is very peaceful and the pontoon is a great added bonus. My nephew caught a large northern but otherwise we were catching small panfish. The location is just outside of town, making trips in for last minute or forgotten items very quick. Black Oak lake, the clearest in WI is just down the road. We only wished it was warmer during our stay, and we all wanted to stay longer. We hope to be back one day. Thank you for sharing this gem with my family!

Perfect for large families

Large place. Very clean. Lots of beds. We had 6 adults and 3 kids and this house was perfect for our family. Kids caught lots of fish off the dock. The lake is very calm and we used the kayaks a lot. The boat runs well. Keep in mind that it does not get covered regularly so it needed to be wiped down when we got there. No big deal. Check out is 9am and the rules say all towels and dishes need to be washed, dried, and put away before leaving so maybe pack a few towels to use on the morning of check out. Overall the place is great and we will hopefully be back again!

Had 15 people stay and had plenty of room. Power was out for a day after storm but had a generator ready to go and saved the day. Would definitely come back.

Great for young children!!

Wonderful place to spend a week with your family. The long paved driveway was a great hit with our young Grandchildren. Bike riding, scooters, strollers and skate boarding. The outside deck has locking gates which was also great for children and our dog. Spent a lot of time under the new covered deck area. The best of all things was the swimming for young children. Sandy shoreline and the depth starts out very shallow, even had a wonderful raft to swim out to. The pontoon boat is a great plus, very nice shape and everything on it works. Updated kitchen and bathrooms are very nice. Just a wonderful location to be at.

Perfect for large Group - beautiful setting - outdoor paradise

Great place for a group. The setting is beautiful and the house has everything you need. We didn’t use the boat or spend anytime at the lake as we were there to ride SxS. The guys wished they had brought their fishing poles. The house had games we played at night and a big enough table we could all sit around for meals, games, and doing one of the puzzles. The area is perfect for riding - we took a ride to Eagle River on trails one day and a waterfall ride in Michigan. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Spacious and good fishing

The kitchen is stocked well with things to use. Their welcome packet is a bit daunting with all of the things to do and bring, but when I spoke to the owner, he said we didn't have to worry too much about the soaps and things as they had some there we could use. They ask that you bring and use RV type toilet paper which dissolves quicker for their septic system. They ask that you wash, dry and put the towels away that you use and you have to be out by 9:00 am, so you really either have to get up very early to take showers, or take them the night before and do the laundry the night before. All in all, it was a nice place and our grand children had a great time fishing and catching lots of fish. They were very small, but that didn't matter to them. We went to Bond Falls one day which is a beautiful waterfall and not that far away. Not a lot to do unless you go into Eagle River other than things on the lake. But they do have a pontoon and kayaks that you can use.

In the Northwoods

Very nice place! It fit perfectly for our group of 14 for a family vacation. Ron had a natural gas generator installed while we were there and the pilot light went out on the water heater during the installation. I called Ron. He answered on the first ring and walked me through starting the water heater back up again in less than 5 minutes. His response was very quick and accurate. We had no other issues at the property. The property has new bathrooms with beautiful showers, all the items described in the posting and more. The only clarification want to point out in the description is it says that there is no WiFi. There IS WiFi and it is fast enough to do what you want to do including streaming Netflix, etc. We had no issues at all with it while we were there. I highly recommend Eagles Nest for a relaxing time in the North Woods!!

Great vacation getaway

We spent a week here with family to celebrate our 50th anniversary (7 adults and 4 grandsons). We all thought the property was even nicer than the pictures online. There were plenty of bedrooms for the adults and the kids loved the bunk room. The fish we caught weren’t huge, but we got enough bluegills to have dinner one night. The pontoon was a great bonus. All in all, a great vacation.

Great stay at Eagles Landing

Large cabin with plenty of comfortable beds for a large group. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. Large multilayered deck with a premium gas grill. Large windows on all three levels overlooking the lake. Great sand swimming area for the kids on a small quiet lake.. Communications with the owners was very responsive. Use of the pontoon boat included in the rental was a plus. We definitely will be returning in the future. Thank you Ron and Michelle for sharing your house with us.

Little Portage Lake is so serene and beautiful as its a private lake with no useable public boat access. For those who love powersports on the water, there are MANY "big lakes" with public launches within a 15 minute drive, including Big Portage Lake, Black Oak Lake, the Cisco Chain, North & South Twin and Lac Vieux Desert, to name a few in the Land O' Lakes area.
