Die Wohnung befindet sich im gemütlichen Spaarndammerbuurt. Dieses Viertel ist auf dem Vormarsch und bietet eine angenehme Mischung aus typischen Amsterdämmern und jungen Fachleuten. Die Wohnung ist von verschiedenen Geschäften, Cafés und Restaurants umgeben und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sowie mit dem Auto (kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz) leicht zu erreichen. Der Westerpark ist 5 Gehminuten entfernt und mit dem Fahrrad oder Bus erreichen Sie das Zentrum in 5 Minuten.

Es ist eine gemütliche Wohnung mit einem Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer, einem luxuriösen Badezimmer mit Badewanne und separater Dusche und im Wohnzimmer kann das Ecksofa in ein Doppelbett verwandelt werden.

Für die Musikliebhaber gibt es eine Gitarre, die benutzt werden kann.

Die gesamte Wohnung steht zur Verfügung. Da ich auch hier wohne und meine Sachen in der Wohnung sind, sind ein paar Schränke verschlossen.

Great apartment

We stayed just a couple of days, so not much to say. It was perfect except a couple of moments that are quite subjective so the rating is still 10/10!I would mention though:- very steep steps to the apartment, that's not a complaint, just a note;- you can stream music to the speakers via Chromecast, and that's fantastic, however we had only iphones apple music, so we weren't able to enjoy the feature;- the electric configurable bed is amazing, now I want that perk at home too :)Overall 100% recommended.

Wirklich sehr weiterzuempfehlen

Ich war hier zusammen mit meinem Partner und meinem Hund und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Atmosphäre war rein und sauber, allgemein war es das Geld einfach wirklich wert.

Schöne Wohnung , zentral gelegen

Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter lief reibungslos ab. Zudem war dieser immer erreichbar und hatte mich nach dem Aufenthalt gefragt , ob mir alles gefallen hat. Find ich persönlich sehr gut. Jedoch war es etwas teuer und ein kaputtes Fenster , sowie Nägel auf dem Balkon Boden entdeckt. Meinen Hund durfte ich mitnehmen. Auf die Mängel habe ich drauf hingewiesen und der Vermieter hat sich dem auch angenommen. Alles in allem kann ich die Wohnung sehr empfehlen

I thought that apartment was well situated, well appointed, nicely laid out, had everything we needed. I travelled with a friend. My only complaint is the sofa bed in the living room. It needs to be switched out. It was comfortable enough but looked a bit grungy and stained and was the first thing I saw when I entered the apartment. I feel the bedding in general and pillows need refreshing. That being said, no other complaints! Xander was extremely pleasant and responsive. Getting in with the app was easy. I’d stay again with a new sofa!!

Charming stay in Amsterdam

Our experience with VRBO in Amsterdam was enjoyable, though with a few hiccups. While the space was cozy for three guests, it was ideally suited for two. The pullout bed (couch) could use a refresh, as it didn't meet our cleanliness expectations. Additionally, we were surprised by the lack of amenities like toilet paper. Nonetheless, the location was great, and the host was responsive to our needs, making our stay overall pleasant.

Great Location!

We had a great stay! Location was perfect and very close to the tram line! The only negative was the pull out sofa was very stained and dirty. Would recommend for groups that don’t need the pullout!

Great Location

Xander's apartment is in a really great neighborhood in an excellent location, close to coffee, groceries, food, and drink. Xander was very responsive with all of our inquiries and checked in at the mid-point of our stay to see if we needed anything.

Locked out; owner “at sea.”

We were told there would be an electronic key code. We got no response from the owner to repeated messages. When we got to the front door there was a mechanical key and intercom. A neighbor let us in to the stairwell and told us we needed a mechanical key to the front door and another to get onto the first floor. Called vrbo. Owner did not respond to vrbo until the next day, said he’d been at sea. Offered to reimburse us for the first night hotel and send an electronic key code. I sent pictures to vrbo of the door with no electronic mechanism. I got a refund, but no one wants to be stranded in Amsterdam with their luggage at 7:00 pm looking for a hotel.

Perfect location and responsive host

We are a family of three and stayed in Xander’s apartment for three nights. Xander was very accommodating and even took extra effort to allow us an early check in which was very convenient based on our arrival time. The location is perfect and we walked to all the major spots right from our door. A few fans in the rooms would have been great because of the summer heat but that’s not a complaint just a suggestion. Overall we would stay here again for sure!

3 nights in Amsterdam

The apartment was perfect for us, nicely furnished with modern conveniences and well stocked basics. The couch was a little soiled but apart from that the place was very clean. Xander was really great and quickly dealt with a couple of issues at check in. The neighborhood is lively with a good bakery, grocery store and many little cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed "Bagels and Beans" for breakfast and "Renato's" Italian restaurant across the street for dinner. It was very convenient with the 22 bus taking us to the center of Amsterdam in just a 10 minutes. We thought the public transportation system just excellent. Thank you Xander for a great visit your apartment is very well designed and a pleasure to stay there.

Nice area

Small apartment but ideal size for 3 adults spending long weekend in Amsterdam who are willing to share a single bathroom. The unit was clean with minimalistic decor. Guests could definitely use another chair other than bar stools, and definitely more pillows (there were only 2) and linens. Its located in a decent area with easy access but frankly without bikes its a long walk to the heart of Amsterdam (1.3km).

Xander was a good host who communicated promptly. The apartment was very clean and well stocked and the location and information in the apartment was helpful. We were able to get around easily - we were very impressed with transportation system. We could get to main attractions within 20-40 minutes walking!

one week stay

Xander's apartment worked well for our stay. It is a about a mile from the town center, but once you get the hang of it, public transportation is very easy and quick. Buses 22 and 48 run frequently and get you where you want to go. The neighborhood is fine and the apartment met our needs. Easy food shopping is very close by, and there a few restaurants in the neighborhood worth checking out.

Perfect, sunny place for two

Xander's place is very close to transportation, grocery store, bakeries, restaurants & a great park. Minutes from city center. Simple, bright space. It was perfect for two people. I loved people watching in the neighborhood. I'm happy we chose this place.

Amsterdam Holiday

The property was very clean and just as it appeared on the VRBO website. Xander was very helpful during the check-in process. We had never used the Nuki app before, but Xander was great at explaining it to us. He was also very helpful with any other questions we had. It was about a 30 minute walk to Amsterdam Centraal Train Station and the central part of Amsterdam. The walk took us by many places to eat and shop and was quite interesting. We were very pleased with our stay at Xander's apartment.
