Das Village of Loon Mountain Familienresort ist ein erstklassiges Bergwildnis- / Skigebiet, das buchstäblich an den White Mountain National Forest angrenzt. Vor unserer Haustür befindet sich der legendäre Kancamagus Scenic Bi-Way. Auf der anderen Straßenseite befindet sich das Skigebiet Loon Mountain mit Aktivitäten für alle Jahreszeiten. Das Resort, in dem sich unser Stadthaus befindet, umfasst 2 Außenpools (nicht beheizt), ein Kinderbecken (nicht beheizt), einen Außenwhirlpool (beheizt), Tennisplätze, einen Basketballplatz und einen Kinderspielplatz. Es umfasst auch 2 Innenpools (beheizt), 3 Innen-Whirlpools (beheizt), einen Kraftraum, einen Cardio-Raum sowie eine Video-Spielhalle, einen Billardtisch und ein Clubhaus mit Kamin. Dieses Stadthaus mit drei Schlafzimmern hat alles. Es bietet Platz für 8 Personen und verfügt über 2 Vollbäder. Im Stadthaus gibt es eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. In der voll ausgestatteten Küche finden Sie alles, was Sie zum Zubereiten und Servieren von Familiengerichten für bis zu 8 Personen benötigen. Es verfügt über zwei Decks mit herrlichem Blick auf den Kancamagus Scenic Bi-Way, eine 47 km lange Straße durch die Wildnis des White Mountain National Forrest. Sie haben Aussicht auf den Loon Mountain und den Black Mountain mit Blick auf den östlichen Abzweig des Pemigewasset River Valley. Im gesamten Gerät befinden sich Bluetooth-Lautsprecher, kostenfreies WLAN und drei große HD-Smart-TVs. So können Sie fast 100 Kabelkanäle ansehen oder Net-Flicks, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu usw. von Ihren eigenen Konten streamen. Es gibt Röhren, mit denen die Stromschnellen auf den Bergflüssen um unseren Standort geschossen werden können (Benutzung auf eigenes Risiko). Wir haben einen tragbaren Gasgrill zum Kochen im Freien (muss 15 Minuten vom Gebäude entfernt sein und Sie benötigen eine Pfund-Gasflasche, die an mehreren Orten in der Stadt gekauft werden kann). Das Dekor ist Bergwildnis und Skihütte. Inbegriffen sind Ihre Bettwäsche und Handtücher sowie eine Endreinigung. Das Village of Loon Mountain Resort befindet sich im Herzen des White Mountain National Forest, der die höchsten Berge im Nordosten Nordamerikas umfasst. Der White Mountain National Forest beherbergt auch die meisten Wanderwege an jedem Ort der Welt. Es gibt fantastische Radwege, wie zum Beispiel den Franconia Notch-Radweg, der am Eingang des Village of Loon Mountain Resort beginnt und Sie direkt in die malerischen Dörfer von Lincoln-North Woodstock, NH, führt. The three things that matter in a property are…

location, location, and location. While this condo has all of that, it certainly has more. Our first time to the White Mountains did not disappoint and this condo and its location met all of our needs. My “beach or bust” kids loved everything the area had to offer and definitely want to come back. You can tell our host knows and loves the area as he was a strong communicator from the booking forward and was super happy to offer tips on where to hike with younger inexperienced hikers, where to find a watering hole to swim - and when to avoid them with the rains we have been having, etc. He had everything mapped out for us to ensure we could easily find and access the property and offered us assistance whenever - should we need it. With linens, toiletries, etc. available, we were able to slide right into our vacation. The condo has spectacular views of Loon and is super convenient to everything in Lincoln and North Woodstock and it’s a reasonable drive to No. Conway. We hope to come back in the near future.

Great Location

Situated off of the Kancamagus Scenic Highway, this Condos' deck and 2nd floor have a gorgeous view of Loon Mountain. The living and dining area were perfect for us. Very comfortable reclining living room sectional! Lots of TV stations to watch. Many remotes, but they are labeled. I would have needed instructions, but my husband figured it out! The kitchen is very well equipped. The large square dinner plates don't fit in the microwave, so I bought paper ones to reheat with. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable! We had some glitches during our stay, but our host Bruce was incredibly responsive and remedied problems right away! We were too busy to use the pools, hot tubs, gamerooms, ect, but did go see them. Good size pools. We hope to be able to take advantage of them on a return trip!

Loved Everything About It!

We so enjoyed our stay here as it felt like we had all the amenities of our own home. The beds were comfortable, it had a closet full of small appliances, and we enjoyed the mountain view from the living room and balcony. We appreciated having AC as we saw that not all places had it. The keypad to enter was easy and convenient. There were so many little things that they thought about such as filled ice cube trays, dishwasher and laundry detergent, and even k-cups and wine. We chose this location to explore Franconia Notch State Park and the Kancamagus Highway to Conway. We did take advantage of the pool, hot tub and even the giant chess set in Loon Village. There were great restaurants just minutes down the road. We hope to return to the area some day to see the fall foliage and would stay here again if available.

I’ll try to keep short! When we arrived it was dark, cold and pouring rain, poor lighting outside, dim in foyer, freezing inside, windows left open, no heat. E- mailed Bruce and he was quick to respond. It smelled very old and musty inside. We resolved the heat thing. We had to put sheets on our own bed which we slept on the main floor because of the smell on the lower level. Never have I ever had to make my own bed before, I was told it was VBOs protocol due to Covid. I checked with VRBO, never heard of that! We had stayed in 3 other VRBO properties before we came here and we are in another one after and we never had to make a bed!! The following day I checked over the townhouse as I do with all the properties we stay in and I was very disappointed! The fridge was dirty I had to clean it out before I put my food away the night before. Huge Cobwebs in the foyer and bedroom, water stain bathroom ceiling and paint falling off around the edges, lower level bedroom (master bedroom) ceiling water stain falling paint, black stain from cooking on kitchen ceiling and other splatters from food. The dryer was the most discusting, black inside the dryer vent, and lint all over inside the dryer door. The ceiling fan upstairs on the cathedral ceiling is covered in dust we didn’t turn it on. The carpet coming up the stairs were filthy. I will say the furniture was in great condition, you can tell it’s expensive furniture and the bed we slept in on the main floor was very comfortable, living room furniture was comfortable also! Bruce an I communicated several times. He did add several motion lights and brighter light outside and he did reimburse my cleaning deposit. Rebekah, his cleaning lady did come over and tried to help the night we arrived, she did come back and cleaned the stove ( food boiled over and burned on) and compensated me with a couple things. All in all the surfaces were clean, as we only used part of the townhouse. I did scrub the main bath floor and kitchen floor by hand myself. When I and as anyone else that rents anything should expect things to be cleaned we pay good money (we spent 11 days) I’m tired of hearing it’s because of Covid. Yes I appreciated being compensated for the cleaning fee, but I can’t honestly give a good review when things aren’t taken care off. The whole townhouse needs to have a fresh coat of paint, and carpets cleaned. Being compensated doesn’t take place of what should be done in the first place.

The location was great with mountain views right from the living room. The beds were great and overall the place was very comfortable - very nice quiet place to come back to after hiking. Bruce was very responsive to any questions we had. As soon as we returned we looked into booking for the same time next year, but unfortunately this is a popular booking and isn't available. We really loved our week in the White Mountains and this rental. Laura

The Gabriel family bought this mountain resort condo in the fall of 1999. Our three daughters have grown up visiting the magnificent White Mountains. We reside in southern New Hampshire and vacation in the mountains two or three times per year. We enjoy all the area has to offer and we know that you and your family will as well. Many of our renters have become like family, renting from us year after year. Their children too have grown up feeling like our home in the White Mountains is there home. Now some of their children are now grown up and bring their children to our mountain resort home.

We are located at the juncture of two of the most amazing places east of the Rocky Mountains; the Kancamagus Scenic Byway and Franconia Notch. The Kancamagus Byway is a 29 mile long road through the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. It includes many spectacular places such as Sabbaday Falls, Rocky Gorge, Lower Falls and Kancamagus Pass. Franconia Notch is like a world of it's own. It has sheer mountain cliffs that rise 2,000 feet from the notch base, it was home to the famed Old Man of the Mountain, it includes the Basin, Flume Gorge. the Tram, the Skiing Museum and Echo Lake Beach State Park. The weather in the notch is unpredictable. At times the sun is out as you drive up to the notch. Then you enter the notch and it can be snowing. As you exit the end of the notch the sun can be shinning once again. I have never experienced another place on the planet that is like this. It is due to the very narrow and deep notch with it's side walls made up of 4,000 - 5,000+ foot mountains.

The view from our townhouse is amazing. You are looking across the famed Kancamagus Scenic Byway at Loon Mountain Ski Resort and Black mountain, as well as up and down the narrow Pemigewasset River Valley. The resort has a wide variety amenities for all ages and interest making your stay at the Village of Loon Mountain so amazing and enjoyable that you may never even want to leave the resort.

Our unit is equipped better than our own home with multiple flat screen smart TVs, it's own washer and dryer and everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay for up to eight people. It is designed so that two families of four can share the townhouse. It is one of the best values in the White Mountains.
