We stayed in Emiliano's trastevere apartment for the last week in January. The apartment was just as described on his web site. Super clean, comfortable beds, living room well furnished for comfortable lounging.
The floor plan of the apartment was perfect for two couples, bedrooms, of a generous size, were at two ends of the apartment, so plenty of privacy. One of the bedrooms is immediately adjacent to a bathroom and amoderate size room which makes it perfect for couple traveling with
children.
The apartment was up a few flights of stairs, a bit arduous at first, but we returned home with strengthened legs. The location, literally just a few steps from Santa Maria in trastevere, and its lovely square, was also just right for folks looking for interesting streets, some narrow, cobblestones, lined with wide variety of small shops, bakeries, small restaurants, coffee bars. It is also well within walking distance of the campo d'fiore area and plaza navona. It is only a few blocks from a taxi stand. We found it helpful to avail ourselves of taxis when we were getting a bit weary from all of the walking we did.
several comments referred to street noise. Since it was January I would guess it was less than in warmer seasons. But the windows in the apartment , new and easy to operate did an excellent job of damping what noise there was.
Emiliano also arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport, take us directly to the apartment, where a sweet informative young lady welcomed us and explained all practical stuff like keys, heat, dishwasher operation, etc. such a luxury after my youthful travel experiences involving backpacks, stumbling around sorting out public transport, etc. similarly a driver back to airport. Also affordable.
I highly recommend this apartment. Roomy two bath apartments in this excellent area of Rome seem hard to come by and we were delighted to find it. It was so relaxing to come home after a busy day of trying to as much as possible of rome's treasures, meeting up with our friends for a "prosecco" hour in the comfy living room before sauntering out in the evening for dinner.
