Unique experience!

My husband and I, along with 2 adult children, stayed here for 3 nights. If you don’t mind 70 steps up a circular stone stairwell with no handrail past the first floor, you’ll love this apartment! Right in the heart of the Old Town and all the excitement. We loved it!

Edinburgh Adventures

We could not have asked for a more perfect location to spend three nights in Edinburgh. The apartment was very comfortable for our family of 5 and well appointed with everything we needed. Being on the Royal Mile and walking distance to everything on our list was amazing! The spiral staircase brought a smile to our face each day and could be a bit tricky after a nice late night dinner and a few drinks. But, we survived and loved every minute of our stay. We would definitely go back!

Excellent location but lots of stairs

Excellent location if you don’t mind a 4 story walk up. Not easy with a special needs child and lots of luggage. But place was good and neighborhood can’t be beat!! The host was good and location. Positive is the stairs help with any extra calories you may consume on Vacation!

Perfect location to explore Edinburgh

This apartment it self was absolutely perfect for us to be able to walk everywhere we hoped to go in 3 days. The only problem was navigating the stairs with suitcases. Paul was very accommodating and his Vrbo was immaculate, extremely comfortable and the view was amazing.

Can't beat location

Property clean, great location. Stayed with our adult daughter.Beds comfortable, better coffee pot would be great and limited towels, we had 2 apiece for a 3 night stay.Also stairs are a challenge, 4 flights, after long days we dreaded the stairs. In Town for a Wedding

This property was perfect for our family of 4 in town for a wedding at Hopetoun House. I was initially concerned about potential noise from the street but it gets very quiet at night and it was quite peaceful. The apartment is lovely and updated. Thanks Paul for the early check in.

Senior Ladies’ trip

This property is lovely, quiet, and so close to everything…the hop on hop off is right there and lots of restaurants nearby. We stayed 3 nights and since we are a group of 5 utilized the sofa bed which was okay. The only concern we had was the stairway going up to the flat because there is no handrail past the first floor.

Large modern apartment towering over the royal mile

Loved this apartment for the modern and spacious interior in such a central location so close to Edinburgh Castle. Even the spiral stone staircase was fun to climb and gave us great views up and down the royal mile! I don't think there could be a more centrally placed self contained apartment in Edinburgh!

We had an excellent time in Edinburgh. The location could not be better. It was in the heart of activity, close to the Castle, shopping and services on the Royal Mile. What a place and location!!

We really enjoyed our stay and great communication from our host. The apartment was in the best location and was super nice. We were even able to look out the window to see King Charles. We were also just steps from the castle to see a concert. Really enjoyed our stay. Bravo for a great flat.

Location! Location! Location!

This beautifully appointed apartment is right on the Royal Mile! We had the 4th floor unit with a view of the Royal Mile and northeast to the surrounding hills. Lots of room. Appears recently renovated with two lovely bathrooms, one en-suite. We absolutely loved our stay. Check-in and out was easy. Note: If you have mobility issues, you should find different lodging due to a tight, quite worn stone spiral staircase. We’re in our late 60s but very fit and found them a challenge, especially carrying luggage. Other than that, this is a perfect place to stay to enjoy Edinburgh! We would definitely return.

Perfect location

This flat was great for our group of four adults, the main reason we chose it was for the location and the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. This flat is perfectly situated on the royal mile, just a few minutes walk from the castle. To get here, we took the city link bus from the airport to Princes street, but keep in mind it’s about a 10 minute walk uphill to get here. The flat itself is on the 4th floor, and you have to go up a spiral staircase to get there which isn’t the easiest with luggage. The bathrooms seems recently upgraded and nice, the living room was perfect for when we wanted to play some card games while resting. Overall we loved this place and its perfect location, you have a view onto the royal mile. You can open up the windows and hear the bagpipes from down below.

First rule of real estate, location and this property has it. You are right at the top of the royal mile! Just steps away from the castle. Not to mention attractions and many restaurants. I guess what I’m saying is you’re close to everything. The apartment is very comfortable and quiet, especially being on the mile. If there is a drawback it’s that you climb four flights of stairs (stone spiral stairs) but you know what that means- more sticky toffee pudding! Enjoy!

Amazing location!

The location of this apartment is perfect. It's very close to the Edinburgh Castle, and sits right along the Royal Mile. It was very clean and the accommodations were perfect for my family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children). It is on the 4th floor, so there are some stairs to climb to reach it. So, anyone with any difficulties with stairs might have a more difficult time. We also had upstairs neighbors who were horribly loud and disruptive late into the night, which made us so thankful that we remembered to pack our white noise machines to drown them out a bit. Overall, our stay was amazing and we would certainly stay here again. Would highly recommend this listing!
