Erleben Sie das Beste aus dem Leben an der Westküste und den schönen Ausblicken auf das Meer von diesem sonnigen, speziell angefertigten Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2,5 Bädern auf einem wunderschönen, angelegten Eckgrundstück in einer sehr ruhigen und privaten Gegend direkt gegenüber einem hübschen Zugang zum Strand zu einer abgelegenen Gegend Bucht. Bringen Sie Ihr eigenes Boot mit oder nutzen Sie unsere kostenlosen Kajaks. In der Bucht kann man hervorragend Krabben und Fischen.

Das offene Loft ist mit einer geschmackvollen Mischung aus Antiquitäten, Kunst und zeitgenössischen Möbeln eingerichtet und bietet komfortable Räume für Versammlungen oder Abgeschiedenheit. Die Küche bietet neben Kräutern, Gemüse oder frischen Blumen aus den saisonalen Gärten viel Platz für den Chefkoch.

Bequeme Betten mit natürlicher Bettwäsche und Bettdecken sorgen dafür, dass Sie gut schlafen. Weitere Ausstattungsmerkmale sind ein 50 "Fernseher, ein zweiter Fernseher im Loft, WiFi, ein großer Schreibtisch mit Aussicht und eine Werkstatt in der Garage für das Projekt, das Sie schon immer fertig haben wollten.

Der Sargeant Bay Provincial Park mit einem Vogelschutzgebiet und einem Sandstrand bei Ebbe ist nur 1,5 km entfernt. In den Hochlandabschnitten des Parks gibt es unzählige Wege zum Mountainbiken und Wandern oder Sie können sich im Coast Gravity Park oder auf anderen Wegen die Küste hinauf und hinunter vergnügen. Reichlich überdachter, abgeschlossener Garagenplatz für all Ihr Spielzeug und Ihre Ausrüstung. Parken auch für Ihren Wohnmobil- oder Bootsanhänger.

Abgesehen von aktiveren Aktivitäten gibt es Touren der Ureinwohner, Golf, Kunstgalerien, Restaurants oder einfach nur Entspannung im Nebengebäude mit Grill, schönen Gärten, Kolibris, großen Fenstern oder einem gemütlichen Holzofen im Winter. Ein umzäunter Garten und eine Terrasse sowie die Nähe zur Natur machen das Anwesen perfekt für Hunde und Kinder und ein schöner Ort, um mit Freunden und der Familie zu entspannen. Holiday 2024

Loved the house! Secluded and private with a beautiful view. Close to town, groceries and restaurants. We had our furry friends as well and the fenced yard was amazing. This is our 2nd trip to this area and we loved it.

The place is awesome. Lot’s of luxurious space with modern conveniences and extras. Our only disappointment is the beach access. This is steep as advertised, but a bit of difficult trek after a recent knee replacement.

Looking forward to returning!

This is an absolutely wonderful property. It has everything one could ask for: excellent location, ocean view (we watched porpoises or dolphins in the bay from the dining table!), hot tub, wood stove, well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of space. It was the perfect local get-away for our family over the holidays. I recommend it without reservation to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, easy stay!

Amazing view, beautiful clean, comfortable home.

It was a beautiful property, clean with an amazing view and location. It had everything we needed. The enclosed back yard was perfect for our dogs and the hot tub had Ana amazing view over the water. The only thing was that the bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable and the mattress needs to be replaced.

Lovely quiet week

My family had a wonderful time at this property. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation and that's exactly what we got. The hot tub was great and the house had everything we needed. Holiday home with room for all.

We had a wonderful stay, nice view of the ocean, very clean accommodation, large living dining area and the loft area was especially nice. It was large, had even better views of the ocean and provided a great second lounging area. We were a group of 7 adults, one toddler and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for everyone! The kitchen had everything we needed and the master suite was luxurious. The large laundry area was great for the dogs, boots, and more. We hope to return again; many thanks!

The Annex

The property is nice and the yard is very well maintained, the view from the hot tub is great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The bedrooms were spacious and the layout was great. We were 6 adults and 2 dogs and we had plenty of space. There were a couple of issues during our stay but the owner was quick to respond when I reached out. We did feel like the cleanliness could have been better. The walk down to the beach is quite steep and the path needs some maintenance but it’s a very short trip to get down there. The beach is very rocky so not great for dogs but there are a number of trails and beach access points close by.

Welcoming and very comfortable home.

The Annex is a beautiful property, spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. The personal touches of fresh flowers in the kitchen and master bed room were lovely to see. We are a family of 6 and like to cook. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen, bbq and a large deck to view the Straight while we enjoyed our meals. We enjoyed some of the many mountain biking trails accessible close to the house. On a great recommendation from Bob we found a local near by swimming spot to relax & cool down after a long ride. An outstanding property and we highly recommend it.

Perfect Family Getaway

The house is located in the perfect spot with magnificent views. Tastefully decorated . The kitchen was more than well equipped, which made it great fun to prepare our meals with the whole family. The barbecue was great to have as well.An extra bonus was the vegetable garden. This is a terrific place to start exploring the area. Lots to see and enjoy around. Would love to come back some time. Unfortunately this system would not let me give 5 stars. Everytime I tried to, it would jump back to 4. It deserves 5 stars !!!

The perfect stay

The house was wonderfully clean and decorated for the holidays, which was perfect for our groups stay over the new year. There is plenty of space to spread out for lounging, or to spend time together cooking/eating in the fully stocked kitchen. All of the bedrooms had very comfortable beds and ample space; there was plenty of room for two couples and a friend to stay (as well as a dog!). Bathrooms were very clean and had soap, shampoo/conditioner, etc. We made good use of the hot tub (which has an excellent view of the water), the wood stove, and the gated patio and yard is a bonus for furry friends. The house is very easy to find, with great parking options. It was really a perfectly maintained property, and communication with the hosts was a breeze - would 10/10 stay here again and recommend it to families, groups, or couples. Great spot!

Such a treat!

We went with friends and we all loved it. The place is beautiful, so clean, spacious and stocked with everything you could need. We even got to harvest some veggies and herbs from the garden. Everything was amazing. Our only exception would be that apparently we were too loud in the hot tub. As four mature adults chatting quietly at 4 pm, we were still too loud for the neighbors! Of course this is not the owners fault. But if you tend to be loud or want to be up late talking in the hot tub, this place might not be the option for you.

Fabulous vacation home!

We very much enjoyed staying here for our 4 day trip with family. The house was very spacious and beds were really comfortable. We enjoyed the enormous deck and the hot tub. The master bathroom was especially large. Heather was a great host and was helpful with my questions. She provided us with an infant life vest for my 2 yr old. We did make the trek down to Cardiac beach and used the kayaks, but I would let others know - it is steep and challenging with young kids or older adults. When we went the tide was out, so it was pretty hard to carry the kayaks out to the water - the large rocks are not easy to walk on. Even the when the tide was in, you need to be careful how you step in the shallow sandy pool - it's like quicksand and I sank in to my knees. overall, we had a fabulous time and love that part of BC.

This is a modern, like-new, completely equipped and furnished, immaculate place to stay.

Such a pleasure for my family to visit the Sunshine Coast from the US desert Southwest, staying at the Annex for 5 nights. The central location makes exploring up and down the coast easy. Heather and Bob were so welcoming, and added touches to the house that made it feel like home from the outset. Their black notebook of house instructions was helpful and complete. They offer great advice on things to see and do, and hikes to enjoy. Beds were very comfortable. The large deck was perfect for sitting, relaxing and looking out on the water. Internet access was fast and dependable. The neighborhood was quiet, and as the house is on a dead end street, there's little traffic. Wonderful windows facing the water view: part Sargeant Bay, part Straits of Georgia across to Vancouver Island. There is access across the street down a well-maintained trail to the beach and kayaks. We look forward to our next visit!

Spacious relaxing retreat

5 of us stayed at the Annex for almost two weeks in July. It was fantastic, exceeding our expectations. First of all, the location is great. It’s quiet, being off the main highway, has some lovely views of the Salish Sea, and yet is just a 10-15 minute drive to Sechelt and a 5 minute one to Welcome Woods where I enjoyed the many quiet walking trails with our doggo and we met many friendly locals. There was so much space in the house as well as outside for us to all be together comfortably, or get away for personal time. For part of each day, we used the upstairs living area with our daughter, allowing my parents some privacy in the downstairs living room. The house is so well cared for and decorated with lovely artwork and some personal furnishing which adds character. We were very comfortable sleeping, sitting, lounging ( I appreciated the deck lounge chairs as many rentals we’ve stayed at haven’t included those, just chairs for sitting.) The main floor bedroom and ensuite were perfect for my 80+ year old parents as they didn’t have to climb stairs and yet allowed them privacy too.The kitchen is very well equipped. It had everything we needed for preparing food. The one small thing I found lacking were plastic containers for storing left-overs. I could not find any, which we seem to always need. Would be good to add some to the kitchen. A few of the light switches on the stairs to the top floor didn’t work for us, but this was ok as they were not essential lights for us but would be good to remedy. The large, fully fenced backyard and huge deck were perfect for our young doggo. I felt at ease knowing she had room to roam, be in sun or shade and was contained and safe. We also enjoyed both the deck (when it was cooler) and the backyard, including picking some of the salad greens from the veggie patch. The garden has a variety of plants and is well cared for adding to the beauty of the outside spaces. In the early evenings, the hot tub was a welcome treat for all of us. The public access trail across the road that takes you down to the beach is definitely well named as “Cardiac Beach”. Lots of exposed roots and steep stairs, so not accessible for some but a good workout for others. We loved the beach at Sargeant Bay Provincial Park at low tide: pure sand in the bay (rocky mostly on the beach) calm water, great for small kids to dig near shore and swim. We’d love to return at some point with other friends to this relaxing, retreat !

Exactly what we were seeking

The location was excellent and put us close to anything we wanted to do on the Sunshine Coast. The property was spotlessly clean, and a big enough space for 4 adults and one teenager. The air conditioning was spectacular, just what is needed during a heat wave. Huge fully stocked kitchen, which we barely used. I don't think I've ever seen a larger master bedroom anywhere, it is literally the size of my son's entire condo. And the ensuite shower could probably fit 5-7 people. or more :) Lots of local information provided onsite, including maps and guidebooks.

The house was very spacious with massive windows and was very clean. The fenced yard was great for dogs and there were many trails nearby. The hosts were quite pleasant Overall, it was an excellent place to vacation and we’d be happy to stay there again.

New Years 2021

We had a fantastic time at this amazing property! We were a family of 5 adults and loved that there was so much space for all of us to either spend time together playing games or snuggle up someplace quiet and read books. The house was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked for all your needs. The hot tub and fireplace were welcome additions as the snow piled up outside. It was also such a nice bonus to be pet friendly; there is a big fenced yard and deck where we could let him run around and play with us in the snow. Bob and Heather were easy to connect with and quickly responded to our queries. This will be our new favourite place on the Sunshine Coast, and we look forward to staying here again in the summer! I Thanks for sharing your lovely home Heather, we will be back!

We bought the Pointhouse property in Dec 2005 as our future retirement home while we were still residing and working in Dawson Creek, BC. It was a successful vacation rental till Feb 2010 when we began a complete reconstruction of the main house and built a new guesthouse (Aerie) on the bluff above.
We made the move to the Sunshine Coast full time in January 2011 living first in the Aerie guesthouse and finally in Jun 2012, the expanded and renovated Pointhouse. The Pointhouse operates as a boutique B&B most of the time but is available for select vacation rentals throughout the year as well as special occasions such as small weddings, meetings or other events.
In April 2016, on the strength of our successful vacation rental track record, we decided to purchase the Annex to offer additional family and pet friendly short term accommodations on the Sunshine Coast.
With the interesting guests from all over the world and a busy schedule of physician locums, retirement is still a ways off. Fortunately, life on the coast is a more relaxed pace allowing us more playtime, family time and travel opportunities. We've also taken up boating so even more coast to explore.

It's another great location mid coast only a 2 minute drive by car from our B&B, 7 minutes from all the services and amenities in Sechelt or by water a 10 minute paddle along the Sargeant Bay shoreline.
Beautiful ocean views, convenient beach access, extensive mature gardens, quiet neighbourhood, great layout, quality construction and energy efficiency were some of the other selling points.

With a pretty beach trail directly across the street, this home has all the benefits of a high bank waterfront home without the hefty price tag or maintenance headaches of a potentially precarious stairwell clinging to a cliff. The views, gardens and well planned spaces make it easy to imagine ourselves happily living there too.
