Das historische Little Red Hideaway verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, das (nach vorheriger Ankündigung) in zwei Einzelbetten in einem privaten Loft-Schlafzimmer und einem Queensize-Schlafsofa im Erdgeschoss aufgeteilt werden kann. Machen Sie es sich am Gaskamin gemütlich und genießen Sie den Blick auf den Pazifik. Perfekt gelegen als Rande des 804 Trail, dennoch ruhig und privat.

Zu den Annehmlichkeiten zählen eine voll ausgestattete Küche, Kabel-TV, ein DVD-Player und ein Gasgrill.

Lovely Get A Way

We had a lovely stay for a couple of days. Location Location Location - Proximity to the beach was so easy. We enjoyed watching the tide, loved the front picture window that opens and the half door was a great addition to views and air movement. The porch chairs were comfortable and had the view. the upstairs windows opened to let the sound of the ocean in and a cool breeze.

Great location!

An amazing ocean view from the living room and back porch. Very quick and easy walk down to the beach. The home is located on the 804 trail that you can follow into town. We had a great stay! Highly recommend.

Most perfect and beautiful location

Our family had the most wonderful vacation at the little red hideaway. I cannot describe in words how perfect the location is, right next to the 804 trail, and steps from the ocean. The waves can be heard to lull you to sleep every evening after watching the sunset. The house is cozy, cute and perfect for a little family. We will absolutely visit again.

Honeymoon

My wife and I honeymooned here, and absolutely loved the location on the beach, the coziness of the house, and the views. There was several times that we noticed things hadn’t been cleaned super well, but pretty minor things like dirty carpet and dishes. We loved staying here, and would definitely stay again.

Amazing location

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Little Red Cabin. The location on the beach and proximity to the trail leading to Yachats was a pleasant surprise. The bed upstairs was not comfortable with the foam mattress pad and we were not quite prepared for how rustic the cabin was. But, all in all we had a great stay. Thank you, Janet

Lovely location

The little red hideaway was perfect for two. Beautiful ocean view and just steps from the beach. The kitchen was nicely outfitted: the sleeping loft was comfortable and cozy. The gas fireplace was not working while we were there. The staff at Sweet Home were very responsive. They sent someone out on a Saturday to light it after they had the propane tank filled. I would definitely stay here again.

Location, Location, Location

The location! The perfect property to stay and walk on the beach and watch sunsets. It was a little chilly at night, so we wanted to use the gas fireplace. We lit it and it would run for about 3 minutes and then shut off including pilot light. Fortunately, there were baseboards for heat. Shower was dirty on base both inside and outside. In short, great place to stay with minor issues.

Amazing Location

The house is in the most amazing location, and the home is well cared for. The communication with the property manager didn't go quite as well. I tried asking a question about a couple basic items that were missing from the kitchen, but never had a response back. The fireplace wasn't working when we got there(you definitely want to use the fireplace! Big part of the charm....)Someone from property management came over to start it, but the heat couldn't be regulated and it became to hot in the cottage. It had to be turned off and couldn't be restarted. If that issue is fixed by now, and if the managers can provide a better response to their email, then this is gets a 5 star rating from me!

This property is not as advertised

I was very disappointed in this property. Other then the location and view being beautiful it is below normal standards. When I arrived the house was very dusty and had not been sanitized as required for covid. The linens were in a bag in the middle of the floor. There was no TV or internet. When I called about it I was told it wasn't guaranteed. The barbecue was tipped over and broken in half.. The gas fireplace didn't work. There's a very long narrow staircase up to the bedroom. I'm 5'5" and 118 lbs. and it was difficult for me to get up and down. The only bathroom is downstairs. This property is definitely not suitable for elderly or someone who has any mobility problem. The paint is peeling off the outside of the house and there's junk piled on the side of the house. The interior is aged and very basic. It's on a narrow dirt/gravel road. There was one key in a old key box. When I asked for a second key I was told I didn't need one.

Little Red Hideaway - Nice view, but ........

Little Red Hideaway – Yachats Pluses: 1. Easy access to 804 trail 2. A great beachfront view Minuses: 1. Gas fireplace would have been a plus, but it didn’t work and we got no advance warning of the situation nor any accommodation from the rental agent 2. No dishwasher 3. Steep stairway up to bedroom 4. The bedroom is on the second floor; the bathroom is on the first floor 5. Bed is really two single beds pushed together covered with a foam pad – not very comfortable 6. Shower is so small you can’t bend over 7. Only permanent heat sources are one electric baseboard heater and a wall heater in the bathroom. Portable space heaters were provided to help heat the place. 8. Using a space heater in the kitchen and making coffee at the same time tripped a circuit breaker 9. Limited number of electrical outlets 10. The furniture and cabinetry are worn out 11. The front door doesn’t fully open because it binds against floor 12. Salmon Street is more like an unimproved alley – complete with potholes 13. Driveway turns to mud when it rains We would not recommend.
