Die Wohnung ist neu und komplett renoviert. Es befindet sich auf der 8. Etage und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Akropolis und Attika. Es liegt 10 Gehminuten von den wichtigsten archäologischen Stätten und dem lebhaften Stadtzentrum (einschließlich des Akropolis-Hügels und der Plaka) entfernt.
Es gibt 3 separate Schlafzimmer mit 3 Doppelbetten oder 1 Doppelbett und 4 Einzelbetten. Es gibt 2 voll ausgestattete Badezimmer. Die Küche, die geräumig ist, macht das Kochen zu einem Vergnügen, ist komplett ausgestattet mit Backofen, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, Besteck, Geschirr und Pfannen, Wasserkocher, Toaster. Sie genießen Ihren kostenlosen Kaffee während Ihres Aufenthalts. Es gibt auch einen Staubsauger und eine Waschmaschine. Große Schränke machen Ihren Aufenthalt angenehmer. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden gestellt.
Die gesamte Wohnung ist voll klimatisiert, und es gibt auch einen Boiler, der Sie rund um die Uhr mit heißem Wasser versorgt.
Natürlich sind die Betten bereits gemacht, mit frisch gebügelten Laken von Coco-Mat. Außerdem gibt es für jeden von Ihnen saubere Handtücher.

Lage super. Panorama super, aber Balkon nur in den Abendstunden nutzbar, da keine funktionierende Markise vorhanden. Objekt schön möbliert, aber leider nicht sehr sauber. Alles in allem jedoch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für sight-seeing.

Super Wohnung, toller Kontakt zum Verwalter

Die Wohnung ist genauso wie im Inserat beschrieben. Sehr geräumig, Betten sehr gemütlich, sauber. Der Balkon und der Blick ist fantastisch. Das Apartment ist in einem Wohngebiet, der Anschluss zur Metro in ca. 10 min Fussweg gut zu erreichen. 5 Haltestellen bis zum Syndagma Platz, 4 bis zur Akropolis. Optimal. Es gibt einige Supermärkte die zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Ansonsten gibt es aber wenig Restaurants oder Cafes. Vom großen Balkon aus, kann man bis Piräus schauen. Die Akropolis ist von den Schlafzimmerfestern gut zu sehen. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis dieser Wohnung ist sehr gut. Wünschenswert wäre eine bessere Ausstattung, Gläser, Tassen sind etwas zusammengewürfelt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den großartigen Kontankt zu dem Verwalter Giorgo! Die Kommunikation war nett und total unkompliziert. Der Fahrdienst mit dem Taxi hin und zurück zum Flughafen hat einwandfrei geklappt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schöner Blick, geräumige Wohnung, gute Lage

Vorteile: Der Blick von den beiden Balkonen in zwei verschiedene Richtungen ist wunderschön (oberster Stock des Gebäudes). Anders als auf den Bildern sieht man die Akropolis allerdings nicht vollständig, sie ist teilweise durch ein anderes Gebäude verdeckt. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig. Zwei Badezimmer mit Toiletten sind praktisch. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter (er besitzt offenbar über 100 Ferienwohnungen in Athen) bzw. seinen Leuten ist einfach, schnell und angenehm. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, kann von hier aus (durch den schönen Friedhof) in gut 20 min. in die Altstadt und zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten gelangen. Der Weg zur etwa 10 min entfernten Metrostation neben befahrenenen und engen Straßen ist weniger schön. Unsicher fühlt man sich in Athen praktisch nirgends, in dem typischen Athener Wohnviertel, in dem die Wohnung liegt, ohnehin nicht (weniger zu empfehlen ist die Gegend um den Omonia-Platz, jedenfalls abends und nachts). Nachteile: Die Wohnung ist eher schlicht eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist bescheiden: nur fünf Messer für sechs Personen, kein Schneidebrettchen, ein sehr schlechter Korkenzieher, Spülmaschine ohne Salz und Klarspüler spülte gegen Ende nicht sonderlich sauber. (Uns war das nicht so wichtig, dass wir deshalb bei den AssistentInnen des Vermieters angerufen hätten.) Immerhin gab es einige kostenlose Nescafé-Kapseln, die für die ersten zwei Tage gereicht haben. Das weiße Sofa war so dreckig, dass wir es mit einer Decke überziehen mussten. Auch in der Küche und in den Bädern wurde nur sehr oberflächlich sauber gemacht. Die Markise auf dem großen Süd-Balkon ist defekt, weshalb er selbst Ende Oktober tagsüber wegen der großen Hitze und hellen Sonne nicht zu benutzen war. Es funktioniert nur eine der vielen Außenleuchten. Die Matratzen sind eher weich, aber nicht unbequem. Straßenlärm ist in einer Großstadt sicherlich nichts besonderes.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment in Athens! The location couldn’t have been better—everything was within walking distance, so we got to explore all the key sights, shops, and restaurants with ease. The host helped arrange an airport shuttle at a great price, making our arrival stress-free. The apartment itself was spotless and had so much space, making it perfect for our family and especially for the kids to relax after long days of sightseeing. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to Athens—truly a fantastic experience!

Clean apartment with great views

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had a great balcony. The water heater was faster than expected. The beds were comfortable. We appreciated how the metal window/door coverings blocked the sun in the mornings. We did not have any problems using taxis or walking around the neighborhood, but less experienced travelers should remember that you are in a big city neighborhood without other tourists around you.

My husband and I haven’t in Greece previously, and I will acquainted with Athens. We prefer not to stay in the touristy areas and like to visit a different neighborhood every time we come. This apartment was lovely, clean, with air conditioners that worked well in the searing heat of the Athens summer. we brought our family and a friend with us this time. The apartment was comfortable for everybody. It was about a 20 minute walk to the Acropolis. The one downside of this area is there are not a lot of choices for restaurants or cafés, and we tried in vain to find a traditional local taverna. Check-in was easy and they helped to arrange transportation for us to and from the airport and the port of Piraeus.

Nice Apartment in great location

Management company communicated very well during the booking and were fast to answer all my questions. Our flight was delayed and we arrived much later than planned but George waited for us at the apartment to show us how everything worked and give us the key. There’s an extra charge for checking in past 10pm and they want you to pay that cash. We paid $30. There’s also a form they make you sign and put your credit card info that felt strange and I wasn’t totally comfortable sharing my credit card info to be written down on a piece of paper. But it was very late and we were all tired and just wanted to get that over with so we could go to bed. Everyone we dealt with was extremely nice and accommodating. The apartment is on the 8th floor but there’s an elevator. Just keep that in mind if your are claustrophobic like me and don’t like to get in elevators :) The apartment was large and just as described. AC in all the rooms. The view of the acropolis is a little bit blocked but there is one. The apartment seems stocked with everything you would need for the kitchen and has a nice refrigerator with an icemaker. We only really stayed one day so didn’t get to use anything in the kitchen. The owners also set up transportation back to the airport when we were leaving. Overall we would recommend staying here. Very nice and quiet building, kind of central with very attentive owners.

Nice apartment

The listing has been changed since our booking to more accurately represent the pricing and terms, unfortunately neither the host nor VRBO have adhered to the pricing and terms originally stated. The actual apartment is fine. The rooms and amenities were mostly as described, our listing showed parking which was not included. The distance to the main part of the Acropolis is a farther walk but still within reasonable distance through an urban district. I felt perfectly safe and the Metro system is really easy to use. That said, at the time of sign in, 11 PM (the site manager is off site so call ahead), we were told we would need to sign a previously undisclosed form, including our credit card number and other information. I was very uncomfortable with the request and stated as much to the manager. He said there was nothing he could do. I felt stuck as my family, including my adult daughter with Crohn’s, had just traveled for hours and it was very late. There was nothing that I could do except provide my cc info to a stranger. Additional issues, surrounding how the pricing and security deposits were disclosed in the listing vs. what was actually collected, remain 2+ wks after our visit.

Price and Location great

Our pickup driver was great and got us in and explained everything. About a mile from Acropolis and the main tourist shopping/eating district. But there are closer and MUCH less expensive places to eat in the local area. The only complaints I'd have is that 4 of 6 dining room chairs were damaged, a suspension bar was on one of the balconies such that you could trip or twist an ankle on it and you could not lower the awning on the balcony (hot sun during the day). If you have 5 or 6 folks, you can't beat the price. But if just 2 or 3, I'd opt for somerhing else.

Roomy and convenient

This was a lovely flat in a very convenient location. We were able to walk to stores, restaurants and historic sites. Lovely balconies with great views. George at property manager Meno was the best. Regularly communicated with us and also arranged our airport transfers and a private guided tour.

Un appartement sans soucis

L'appartement et sa gestion ne laissent place à aucune inquietude. Nous y sommes restés à deux reprises. C'est spacieux et tres propre. La vue sur le Parthenon depuis deux des chambres est le petit cadeau d'arrivee. Le gerant de cet appartement propose un service de transport depuis et vers l'aeroport qui a été parfait pour nous avec un depart en milieu de nuit. Merci à Georges, Vassilis et Socrates.

The property is ok. It listed AC, however, the ones in the living room and master bedroom did not work, making unbearable to sleep due to heat. There is construction happening across the road, they begin working early and its very noisy. Had the AC been working, it would not have been an issue, since the noise would be muted due to doors being closed. Management said they would come and fix the AC, but didn’t. We also had a cockroach issue in the kitchen, which we did not like at all!!! Would we stay at this project again? Probably not. Now the transfers drivers to and from the airport were very polite and kind.

Athens disappointment

First, the person who was to check us in was also the driver who picked us up at the airport. He was 40 minutes late with no notification. On check in he required us to sign a form that said we would not dispute the charges for the unit. The first night during our stay, two of the 4 AC units did not work and we discovered roaches in the kitchen - even found one inside the refrigerator! The owner sent a man with bug spray but he did not work on the AC. We spent the rest of our stay, sweating. The owner told us to just leave the doors open but that's when the bugs came in. The metro was quite a walk from the unit. Also the view of the Acropolis was blocked by a building and it was only partially visible from one of the bedrooms. This stay was a complete disappointment.

No AC and broken tub make the listing inaccurate

The property manager was initially very responsive (prior to arrival), but stopped being as responsive when major issues arose on day 1. AC was completely broken in the master bedroom and main living area, making the 8th level city apartment unbearably hot in July. In addition, the tub stopper in one of the bathrooms was not functioning and so the dirty cold tub water couldn’t drain at all, making one of the showers also unusable. The property manager was made aware of these issues daily during our four day stay, and despite making assurances that he understood they were significant issues “needed to get approval from the owner for a partial refund.” This never came. While we liked the location (convenient to the metro), given the issues we had and lack of appropriate remedy from the owner or property manager, I would not recommend this property.

Wonderful Historic Nafplio Home

The hosts welcomed us with homemade lemon cake! The house was spacious and oozed with old time charm. A balcony and two patios with breathtaking views of the bay and nearby historical monuments. Highly recommend!

Great apartment in Athens

Nice three bedroom apartment with a great balcony overlooking the city. Also a view of the Acropolis. Walking distance to the Acropolis and other fun restaurants in the heart of the city.
