Cabin in Pigeon Forge

The cabin is perfectly located for day trips to Dollywood, the Smokies, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and Pigeon Forge. After days out exploring, it was great to have a cozy cottage to come back to with a hot tub to reinvigorate us.

Vacation getaway

The cabin was easy to find and only a short drive to the main area. Cabin was very clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable and loved the 2 King beds. Kitchen was well equipped and had all we needed. The guys loved the game room and pool table. Also the hot tub was a great amenity. We enjoyed the hot tub and it was relaxing. We will definitely keep this in our favorite places to stay. Might try to come back in the fall. I give this 5 stars!

Close to the Action

We've stayed in so many cabins in the area and this one was in the best location: no super narrow up the mountain road!! The hosts have provided so many exteas, in case you forget something vital, and the beds are very comfortable- always important! It was pretty quiet but we could hear the Dollywood train which was great. It's a great place to stay!

This was a lovely cabin but needs more outdoor lighting by the driveway. Also, the shower in the downstairs bathroom has nowhere to put soap, shampoo, razor. Overall nice place

Location, location, location

This was a great cabin for our family. The cabin itself had plenty of room and things to do, but maybe the best part was its location. We rarely had to deal with traffic to go anywhere since it is located on the Dollywood side of Pigeon Forge. We would definitely book this cabin again.

Ripken Experience

This place was perfect for our week of baseball at the Ripken Experience. I have no complaints. It seemed the living room tv was only on antenna with not much to watch when we wanted to relax from a long day at the ballpark. The downstairs bedroom tv was great. We would definitely stay here again. We loved area and how close we were to everything.

Gymnastics Trip

Cozy cabin located close to Pigeon Forge. Kitchen was well stocked. Owner was extremely responsive to any questions we had. The kids loved the games and pool table. The fireplace and king sized beds were a great bonus. I gladly recommend this cabin for a family if you are looking for a place to get away.

Perfectly cozy

It was the coldest weekend of the season, with rolling power outages all across East Tennessee, so several of our plans went sideways! But we were grateful to have a safe place to be, with plenty of extra blankets, a gas fireplace, and food that we had purchased when we first arrived. With so much to do in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, I'm sure there was no reason for our hosts to believe we'd need entertaining. Nevertheless, there was a deck of cards, Uno, and a 3D puzzle in addition to the house activities we had planned. It wouldn't hurt to stock up on more puzzles and books! Warm showers and suffiicient towels. The only bathroom issues we experienced was a whistling noise in the showers that didn't really matter and a stopped-up toilet, which was addressed as soon as possible and within a reasonable amount of time. When the power went out, we did try to find flashlights...the nightlights did not flip to emergency light sources, and we were fortunate the longer outages happened in the middle of the night. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and everything needed to cook simple meals. It was a heavily bear-themed cabin, including bear heads instead of handles for some of the lower cabinet drawers for the island. These really protruded at a dangerous level (if there had been small children in the cabin), and several of us did manage to end up with bruised thighs as we continuously ran into the bear heads working together in the kitchen! The cabin is very conveniently located to a grocery store, main roads, and entertainment, and our host even graciously allowed access to the garage, if needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our family Christmas in this cozy cabin!

Location was close to everything, cabin was tucked in man, outdoor furniture could have been cleaner nothing a hose and water couldn't fix, second floor bedroom was dusty and wish we would have had more towels, only one set per bathroom, but all in all we had a wonderful week!

We fell in love with Bear Wood for several reasons. The location makes it perfect for a family to have a short jaunt to so many amazing attractions in the area. We also loved the hand hewn beams that highlight the kitchen. It has a strong rustic feel that makes it easy to relax and feel at home.
