Dieses komplett renovierte, 90 Jahre alte Haus ist ideal für bis zu 8 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder. Es hat den Charme einer Blockhütte aus der alten Welt, bietet jedoch alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie benötigen… sowie eine atemberaubende Aussicht von der großen Terrasse.

Das Haus liegt günstig zwischen den Skipisten von Windham (5 Minuten) und Hunter (10 Minuten) und ist im Winter ideal für Skifahrer, Snowboarder und Schneeschuhwanderer. In den anderen Jahreszeiten gibt es viele Wander- und Mountainbike-Strecken, Golfplätze und nahe gelegene Seen, die Kanufahren, Kajakfahren und Schwimmen anbieten. Und natürlich ist das Laub im Herbst spektakulär.

Die nahe gelegenen Städte Windham, Hunter und Tannersville bieten großartige Restaurants und Kunstgalerien in Hülle und Fülle, die alle innerhalb weniger Autominuten zu erreichen sind.

Entspannen Sie nach all diesen Aktivitäten auf der großen Terrasse und genießen Sie die Aussicht, braten Sie Marshmallows um die Feuerstelle, grillen Sie auf der überdachten Terrasse, spielen Sie eine Partie Billard oder entspannen Sie einfach im Whirlpool.

Es gibt viel Platz zum Ausbreiten. Abgesehen von einem Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett, drei Schlafzimmern mit Queensize-Bett und einem ausgebauten Dachgeschoss mit 4 Einzelbetten haben Sie auch die Möglichkeit, den großen "großen Raum" mit Ess- und Wohnbereich, ein weiteres Wohnzimmer mit Steinkamin und eine moderne Küche mit separatem Frühstück zu nutzen Winkel.

Great House to chill with friends and Watch the mountains

We had a Great stay at hensonville ! The house is perfect to accommodate several families and the location is super convenient. You Will find everything you need in the house for your stay and Deborah was very nice in get communication. We loved it !

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing MLK weekend at Deborah’s house. The place was well equipped with everything we needed, we really enjoyed the comunal areas stocked with a lot of games for everyone. The location is great, about 10-15 min from Hunter. The attic room gets a bit cold at night but we just used some of the extra comforters provided. Also the host was always available for any questions. Thank you for Having us Deborah!

Highly recommend!

Randy and Deborah's home was great! Very spacious and beautiful views. My family and I were a group of 12 and there was plenty of room. The home is in a great location; close to Hunter and Wyndham Mountains. Randy and Deborah were great hosts; easy to contact and very accomodating! They added nice special touches for my family and I. I would defintely recommend staying at their home!

Beautiful house!

This place is great! We had a wonderful apres ski experience relaxing and playing games in the huge common areas, or retiring to the bedrooms/loft for a little solitude. The property owner could not have been more helpful, responsive, and kind. Everyone had a great time!

Cute place with awesome views

My family really enjoyed staying in this house. House was clean and nicely furnished. View from the living room and upper deck was breathtaking. There was no need to bring anything since hosts provided everything we needed to have worry free stay.

Loved every minute!

Our family went on an annual ski trip and stayed at Deborah’s house. We thoroughly enjoyed the property, how clean it was and proximity to nearby mountains. It was very easy to communicate with owners and they left a great deal of information for guests in regards to restaurants, things to do, and how to work TV and gas fireplace. I miss the ambiance of the gas fireplace and my girls miss their attic space!

Family Ski Trip

This property was great! We had 11 people and everyone fit comfortably. The living rooms were large and comfortable. We could all share the space without issue. Everyone enjoyed playing pool, relaxing in the hot tub, and the fire pit when we weren't out skiing.

Peaceful and relaxing

This was our second time staying at this rental and definitely not our last. The views are breathtaking and the home is beyond comforting and relaxing. Since our last stay they have redone several aspects of the house which has made it even more beautiful then the first time. The owners Deborah and Randy are easy to get in contact with and went above and beyond to make sure our trip was spectacular.

Beautiful mountain home

The place had everything you'd need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the Catskills. The house was stylish, clean, and well-stocked with lots of linens, kitchen supplies, and more. The hosts offered prompt and respectful communication, and the house was accurately described on VRBO. The owner did require a rental agreement in addition to VRBO's terms of service, which was no problem but worth mentioning. Thanks for a great stay!

Beauty of a house

We met friends to ski at Hunter for the weekend. It can be very hard to find a nice house with good couches that don't gross you out. This house was really pretty - the downstairs in particular is a great place to hang out after a long day. The views from the living room window are beautiful. All in all, a place we would come to again.

Breath Taking Views

We had the pleasure of staying at Deborah's house in Hensonville in early October 2022. The house was clean and the viiews were breath taking. The owener provided detailed instruction and was responsive to any concerns. We highly recommend 3 Acer Woods property and look forward to staying again soon.

Great family ski house

Cleanliness: Spotless. Beds: Comfortable. In good condition. Kitchen: Very well equipped. Location: Has a great view across the valley. Essentially halfway between Hunter and Windham. Lots of space for different activities. 2 eating areas if you want to split off the kids. The kids loved the attic (be mindful that the attic stairs exit, albeit with a substantial door, into one of the bedrooms) and spent much of their time up there. Wonderful family vacation home.

Great Escape in the Catskills

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Deborah's house. First off, Deborah is a great communicator. We were four adults and the house provided plenty of room for all of us. A great porch with fantastic views and an equally amazing firepit a short walk from the house. The seclusion was what we were looking for but it was very close to Windham where we had lunches after a couple of challenging hikes. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway.

Lovely updated home!!

We loved our stay at this well appointed and beautifully decorated home in the Catskills. Plenty of room for 3 families with children. The listing was not entirely clear that one of the bedrooms was a “walk thru” to get to the children’s room on the 3rd floor, which rendered on of the bedrooms almost unusable. If you have older age children who don’t wake up at night, it might not be a problem. Overall we were quite happy with our stay!

Wonderful Stay

We had a blast staying here. Perfect location and amenities. View is amazing. More space than I imagined. The attic bedroom with the 4 cots is more of a children's room. If our kids had come, they would have had a blast staying up here. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed. If a lot of people plan to shower in the morning, keep in mind it's a well, so water pressure will very. Overall, we had a blast and would definitely rent here again in the future and maybe bring the kids next time.

Lovely home! Amazing view!

My guests and I had a wonderful experience at this home. Towels and linens included! The only hiccup that I noticed which is in part on myself, is that a key code is required and having no service it would be difficult to access the VRBO app. So if you’re booking make sure you remember that code! Other than that the experience was amazing! Only a few minutes from hunter and other local mountains. Loads of board games for all use! Would definitely stay here again 10/10 5 stars!

Great Place

This place was wonderful. We wanted a comfortable, cozy, place to host a leadershop workshop for 6 people. This worked super well. Warm, Clean, Beautiful. Definitely choose this place again if we are in the area. Their internet connection is amazingly strong. Even when everyone was simultaneously doing video calls out there was no lag in speed. (We did not have cell coverage in the house, but it wasn't an issue because the internet was so strong that we just face-timed if we needed to call out.

Amazing hosts & great home

Couldn’t ask for a better home to stay, the only downside was we were only 2 couples in a spacious house that could accommodate 4 couples plus kids easily. The location is situated right between hunter and Wyndham so you have the option of both (we only went to hunter). Very close (5min and 10 min) to 2 amazing breakfast spots. One of the top 10 best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in my life is literally a 2 min drive away. Amazing views surround the house, a great farm on 296 with the cutest furry horses (3 min away didn’t stop but had to slow down to see them) Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. Id certainly take one more couple to make the most out of the trip next year for sure. The hosts went above and beyond when it came down to marking sure we were comfortable and providing local recommendations.

A most inspiring view!

Most of all, we loved the view from the living room. The two living rooms were not only pleasantly furnished, but they were also functional because we could play chess at one table, play an online game in the next room, do a puzzle at another table, or simply relax and read in a comfy chair. It contributed to our adult time to have the attic where the children could hang out. The beds there are cots, but the kids didn't mind. The kitchen refrigerator is new and bigger than the picture in the add showed. You need a strong person to put the cover back on the hot tub after each use. Fortunately, we had such a person with us. I could go on about what we liked and we would recommend the house to others.

Wonderful getaway

This property was exactly what our group needed to feel safe getting away. The house provided a haven amongst glorious views, and away from any crowds. There were plenty of blankets to use to cozy up by the fire, and the deck was a great place to enjoy morning coffee. The wifi supported multiple adults working and multiple children distance-learning with no issues. The children loved the attic room, which an earlier review does note, is accessible through a door inside of one of the Queen rooms. Just something to be aware of when planning room placements. The general store in town had enough supplies to provide for the week's needs. There are many local hiking trails, and several waterfalls just a short drive and then a lovely hike away. The owners are amazingly responsive and show great pride in being able to share their home. I highly recommend this property.
