Das historische Herrenhaus Phelps besticht durch seinen historischen Charakter, von den ursprünglichen Küchenschränken bis zu den Holzböden in der gesamten Unterkunft. Es gab viele Updates während des Reha-Prozesses und bietet viele moderne Annehmlichkeiten. Diese Maßeinheit ist ein Schlafzimmer mit einem neuen Amish Bett und einer sehr bequemen Königinmatratze. Im Wohnzimmer befinden sich zwei Sofas. Eines ist ein außergewöhnlich bequemer Queen-Ausziehschläfer, auf der zusätzlichen Couch kann der 5. Gast schlafen. Die Küche ist mit allen Küchenartikeln bestückt; Geschirr, Besteck, Teller, Schüsseln, Töpfe, Pfannen, Backformen, Kaffeekanne, Toaster und Mikrowelle. (Für 6 Personen) Kühlschrank in voller Größe und Gasherd. Kostenloses WLAN und Kabel. Großer Flachbildfernseher. Parkplatz vorhanden.

Great location, quiet get-away

This home is located just a few blocks from the downtown shops and restaurants, an easy walk on quiet streets. Off-street parking was a bonus. The suite is very roomy and extremely clean, durnished with the necessities. We were surprised how quiet the evenings and nights were, very peaceful. In all, a great stay and highly recommended.

Great property !

The suite is in a historic building and has been nicely updated (kitchen, bath, etc.) while maintaining its historic feel. It was extremely clean and well maintained. Walking distance to a grocery store and the downtown area. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends heading to Decorah.

Stay for Luther Family weekend…AWESOME!

This property, as well as the owners were both fabulous! Off street parking, nice amenities, comfortable HVAC, reliable WiFi, and close to downtown all make this a great option. We’ve been coming to Luther events for the past 5 years as our girls attended Luther and this VRBO location was the absolute best we have stayed at… highly recommended!!!

Quaint,quiet and convenient

Cozy and charming place

We loved the apartment! A very charming, cute and cozy place. Two large comfortable couches in the living room and very comfortable bed. The location is very close to the downtown area and Fareway grocery store. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. Our hosts were very responsive to messages and inquiries. We will definitely be be back and we look forward to our next visit!

Visiting my Mom's home town

We returned to Decorah for my 50th high school reunion and found this historic VRBO to be a wonderful property. It is within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants and Phelps Park. The unit is comfy and well furnished and the WiFi is strong. Our hosts were easy to reach and were helpful when our travel plans changed. We'll visit Decorah again and hope to rebook this great apartment.

My 50th High School Reunion

This is a wonderfully updated historic home situated within walking distance of central Decorah, Phelps Park and other attractions. The unit is comfortable and well-furnished (good WiFi and good coffee!) and the neighborhood is quiet. When we had to make significant adjustments to our travel plans, hosts Bruce and Kaleen were easy to reach and very helpful. We'll certainly be back to Decorah and hope to book this wonderful property for our next visit.

Great stay near downtown

Great spot near town. Walked to get coffee and visit shops each day. Property was very cute, well cared for, and perfectly clean. We loved the historic chararcter of the house. Hosts were the perfect amount of hands-off, yet fully available to jump in when we had a question or concern. Our family enjoyed the stay. Spouse and I had the bedroom and the two kids shared the pull out couch bed. Great to have a table we could all 4 eat at for meals. And we were a close walk to a playground for the kids! Dawn and dusk were special with deer and fawns walking around the neighborhood!

Luther Graduation

My husband and I stayed at this VRBO for our daughter's Luther College graduation weekend. We had a wonderful time. The VRBO was clean and had all the needed amenities. We enjoyed the proximity to downtown and were able to easily walk downtown to Impact Coffee. It was also very quite at night. I would highly recommended this VRBO.

We have spent a great deal of time renovating this wonderful mansion. We have completed the two suites available on the main floor for our nightly rentals. We are extremely excited to finally be able to offer the suites to our guests to enjoy. We both grew up in Decorah and have chose to stay in the area to raise our own family. Decorah is an amazing town and is full of fun and exciting things to do all the time.
