Das Juwel von einer Hütte thront auf einem Hügel mit allem, was Sie für das ultimative Rückzug benötigen. Die Mountain Retreat ist eine wunderbar gemütliche Hütte auf mehreren umgekreist tief in den Bergen von North Carolina, in der Nähe von Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson und Wilkesboro. Die Mountain Retreat ist der perfekte Ort für einen romantischen Rückzugsort für 2 oder eine kleine Familie. Es gibt 1 Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und ein Queensize-Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer. Es gibt Raum für eine aufblasbare Luftmatratze Queen-Size, wenn nötig (es wäre sehr gemütlich). Nur einen Steinwurf von der Kabine gibt es den angenehmen Klang von einem Gebirgsbach. Das Gelände der Kabine umgeben ist voll von Pflanzen, Blumen, Sträuchern und Obstbäumen. Wir haben sogar einen Pavillon mit Schaukel und einem Puppenhaus für Sie zu genießen! Die Mountain Retreat ist nur ein paar Meilen entfernt von der Blue Ridge Parkway und in einem charmanten Hütte Gemeinschaft befindet genannt Creekside Estates. Es gibt nur eine Handvoll Hütten in der Nachbarschaft, so dass Sie können sicher sein, einen ganz besonderen Aufenthalt zu erleben. Die Mountain Retreat liegt 15 Minuten von Boone und 20 Minuten nach West Jefferson und 30 Minuten zu Blowing Rock. Der Blue Ridge Parkway ist nur 4 Meilen von der Hütte entfernt.

The property is in a quet neighborhood of cabins and convenient to Boone and West Jefferson. Only seating in livingroom/kitchen was an uncomfortable sofa and stools at counter. TV didn't work properly.

Bad Experience

This cabin reeked of wood smoke so badly we could not stay there. After less than an hour in the cabin we started to have breathing problems.The "host" was in Croatia so he could not be on site. He texted with me and inferred that I was lying. In my opinion Mr. Gruica has oversold this property. By way of example the bed is a double not a queen. We wrote off a 6 night stay and went home,

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely like to plan to come back. This cabin was absolutely gorgeous, and accommodated us and our dog perfectly. The cabin is stocked with everything you could possibly need and is a 15 minute ride to Boone.

Father's Day/Anniversary Weekend

Great weekend celebrating our 23rd Anniversary and Father's Day. The cabin was the perfect spot for us. Loved that it was fully stocked, especially the coffee supplies, as it is a good distance from any grocery stores. Front porch and gazebo provided awesome morning coffee locations as I am always first one up to enjoy the peace and quiet. The neighborhood is great for taking a walk and enjoying the natural surroundings. Felt very safe in this community. We also took advantage of the firepit and roasted marshmallows, played several of the supplied games and of course used the internet without any problems. I would love to go back to this little cozy cabin. Thanks for your hospitality.

Charming, peaceful and comfortable

The cabin is cozy, well stocked kitchen, everything you need. The real star is the deck and yard, it's so beautiful and peaceful. You feel enveloped by the forest. We spent most of the time outside. Even in the rain, there is a gazebo with a swing and the deck has an awning and nice little lights. It's easy to find even if you get out of GPS range. We had no cell signal but that's not a problem because the cabin has strong wifi. This was our second visit and we plan to book a third soon. When you visit, tell the bats, birds, and fireflies we said hi! And will someone please tell me what variety of plum tree that is in the yard!

Beautiful, secluded cabin. The property has great amenities like a full kitchen and a fire pit. It is close to Boone NC and many local attractions such as the Linville Caverns and Grandfather Mountain. I would whole heartedly recommend this property for your next trip.

Cozy Quaint Cabin

Mt. Retreat Cozy Cabin was a lovely, quaint cabin. I really enjoyed listening to the wind and creek. They have a gazebo with a swing that made it restful in the evening to sit and listen to nature. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. There is a handicap tub/shower that I enjoyed. (I now will get one) We were there 4 nights and were truly relaxed when we went home. Perfect place for a couple wanting to relax and enjoy nature. We went to Jefferson, Wilkesboro , and Boone and still rested a lot. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

Very cozy. Smaller than I thought it would be but very nice. You may take care of these issues and need to know.....we could not get either TV to work and the internet went out Wednesday morning and was still off when we left.

Nice cabin

Cabin is so cute and cozy. Had absolutely everything you could ever need. Perfect for a quiet get away. Only complaints are the netflix runs so terribly so we could not watch any movies. It would constantly pause to buffer and then would freeze and we would have to restart the whole blueray player completely. You said you had the firestick for prime videos which has netflix on the remote, but that controler didnt work at all. And the blueray player was not playing our videos even that we brought of our own. It would freeze up on them and we woukd have to unplug the system and start the movie over which got pretty annoying. So we was pretty much without tv out entire time. Another complaint is please be careful of driving. Im not sure if he is a resident there, but he has been seen there 3 times over the weekend we was there. He had a white dodge pickup truck that says a roofing company and when you are going around the extremely narrow road to get to the cabin, this man flys up and down the road and literally woumd not move over for us and almost ran us off the road over the cliff. This happened 3 times when we was driving to the cabin. He stopped us the 2nd time and asked us what our business was and why we were going back there. He then asked to see proof of our cabin papers and proof we paid for the cabin. This wad extremely odd and made my husband and i feel really uncomfortable. We werent going to stay the last night but it was out anniversary so we made the best

I am always looking for a great meal, great drink, and great company and will do my best to make that happen. I used to work in the food industry as a Chef and Culinologist (I helped companies create the flavor portion to their products) and used to travel extensively for work. Since all things culinary have been a huge part of my life, I started an online-based dining and socializing group called Good Eats and Meets that is now in 6 cities in the US and is the largest group of its kind in the US. I have a grown daughter and son. My parents are Croatian and I am also fluent in Spanish and Croatian. I spend my time split between the US and Europe as I started a new company called Captivating Croatia, where we take guests on an intimate food and wine-based tours of Croatia.

It also comes with a twin-size memory foam folding cot. Just a stone's throw from the cabin there is the pleasant sound of a mountain stream, which adds to the charm and allure of the cabin. The terrain surrounding the cabin is full of plants, flowers, shrubs, and fruit trees. We even have a gazebo with a swing for you to enjoy! Please note, the cabin has a one-person jacuzzi soaking tub in the bathroom and DOES NOT have a hot tub, VRBO has no way to differentiate between the two on the site.
