Amazing location on the beach

We were a group of 5 friends and this worked perfectly for us for our 5 night stay - beautiful and quieter part of the beach on our doorstep, 10-15min walk to downtown, 3 min walk to other options to eat/drink on the beach or just off the beach.Sebastian and the team were super helpful and quick to respond to any queries, right from booking and through our stay. We had the hut with 4 double beds/ 2 on the mezzanine. Fridge for supplies. everything was great. 100% recommend and wish we could have stayed longer!

Island perfection

What an adventure! We had a wonderful time. The house, literally on the beach, made us feel like castaways living in luxury. Communication was a breeze. We would have loved a coffee pot in the morning to get us going but we're happy to go practically next door to a beach front cafe.

Outstanding Location and Great Hosts!

Our family of four had an amazing visit to Holbox in no small part due to our stay in this home. The photos on the listing do not do the property justice. It is located right on the beach with incredible views of the ocean from either the fenced in porch or from the private palapas in front. The house is located in a quiet area, with only a 5 minute walk into the downtown zone. The beach in front of the house was rarely used (most people stay closer to the downtown area) so we frequently felt like we had it all to ourselves. Paulina and Rodrigo were wonderful hosts! They made sure we were well taken care of, including helping arrange our door-to-door transfer between the airport and the cabana (including the ferry). We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Paulina is a wonderful hostess!

This is such a beautiful property and we will definitely stay here again. Perfect location with a private beach. Close to town, close to Puntos Cocos. We had a little problem with our transportation and Paulina was very understanding and accommodating

Simply Paradise

My family and I loved everything about our holiday home. Our side accommodated 4 double beds, a bathroom, bar fridge and screened porch. There are lounges and shade right in front. When you open all the screens, there is a lovely cross breeze for comfortable sleeping. We never used the air con once, but some might like that there is some. A small kitchen would have been nice, but the other side had one, for those needing one, but it has 3 double beds. Every morning the staff raked the property and put out coffee for all the accommodations. I love this part of the beach the best and swimming is perfect right out front. It is just minutes aqay from the centre of town and all ammenities. I absolutely loved every minute. This is our second trip to Isla Holbox and it will not be our last.

Magnifique

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement. L'endroit était tel que décrit. La plage est juste là, l'eau est très belle et on a pied très loin, idéal pour les enfants. Nous avons séjourné avec 4 enfants et c'était juste parfait. Il y a deux logements sur le site, un avec une "véranda", l'autre avec cuisine. Nous avons eu celui avec véranda, mais je pense que si nous avions eu le choix, on aurait plutôt pris celui avec cuisine, le centre ville étant un peu éloigné (15 minutes à pied), il fallait faire le trajet pour chaque repas. Mis à part ça, tout était très bien. La personne qui s'occupe des lieux nous a été d'une grande aide. Merci pour tout.

We loved it! A great location with a lovely screened in porch right on the beach.

Right on a fairly quiet beach and a short stroll to restaurants and shops. Paulina helped organize transportation to and from the island. We would definitely stay again.

Beachfront semi-secluded property to glamp

Our visit to Isla Holbox was during the Christmas Holiday. We did not want to experience Holbox on a hotel resort. This property was a twist of glamorous camping with a bed and breakfast. The beach was 30 yards from the property. The screened-in porch allowed us to enjoy the warm weather without getting bit by mosquitoes and enabled us to watch the kids play in the shallow ocean water. There was even a back up generator on site for those times when the whole island's main electricity went out. Lots of outdoor activities nearby: fishing, bicycling, swimming, etc. The center of the town is a 5-10 minutes walk, or 2 minutes by golf cart. Newly renovated. Family friendly. The property even has tents with bed(s) and an attached fancy bathroom available. The owners were friendly and always willing to accommodate our giant family's daily needs and requests.

The small tents we stayed in were not pictured on website. Not at all what we were expecting.

We booked two units for five adults. We were informed that the 'main property' was booked and that we'd be given the smaller units. These units were not represented in the ad. Instead of the gracious, thatched-roof structures in the photos, we were presented with two tents with built in plumbing and wooded floors. Although clean and new, they were minuscule. We were told the "main building" would be available for breakfast, relaxing, using the bar at night, etc., but in the evening, the space was either locked up or occupied by the owners children, watching television. If we had been aware of these restrictions, we would have not selected this rental for our trip. For what we received, the rates were in my opinion, extremely inflated.
