Schönes Landhaus in zentraler Lage auf der Insel in einem ruhigen Hügel nur wenige Minuten von Sandstränden und grünen Golfplätzen entfernt. Genießen Sie einen Morgenkaffee auf der vorderen Veranda mit Blick auf das Meer in der Ferne. Auf der anderen Seite der Straße grasen Kühe. Wer wusste, Kühe könnten so unterhaltsam sein.
Viel Platz draußen für Kinder, um Dampf abzulassen und Spiele zu spielen.
Unser Haus hat viele Verbesserungen erhalten, die es mit allem Komfort von zu Hause verlassen. Es hat drei Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett, ein Doppelbett und ein Etagenbett mit einem Doppelbett auf der Unterseite und zwei oben respektvoll und 1 extra Zweibettzimmer. Es hat eineinhalb Badezimmer mit einer großen Badewanne. Wir haben eine große Luxus-Küche mit viel Vorbereitung und Kochfläche für diejenigen, die gerne unterhalten. Ein gemütliches, entspannendes Wohnzimmer, in dem Sie nach einem schönen Tag entspannen können. Eine fünf bis 10 Minuten Fahrt nach Kensington für Lebensmittel, Restaurants, frische Backwaren Antiquitäten und Spirituosen.
Wir sind in der Nähe des Indian River Festivals. 10 bis 15 Minuten nach New London, New Glasgow und Stanley Bridge Entdecken Sie kulinarische Köstlichkeiten (Hummer-Dinner) und suchen Sie nach Antiquitäten.
5 bis 10 Minuten ins Zentrum von Kensington, wo es Wander- und Radwege gibt.
Das Erntedankfest findet vom 19. August bis zum 23. August in Kensington statt.

Family based house

Great 2-storey house. Huge well-supplied kitchen. Nice living space. A/c works really well on main floor but never touches upstairs bedrooms. Lovely front deck, great for sitting and watching the sun set. Good location, close to lots of activities. Would stay here again.

Très bel endroit

Nous avons loué cette maison pour notre voyage à l'Ile-du prince Édouard et nous avons adoré! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'emplacement. Excellent family location

After three years of waiting, we had the pleasure of enjoying two weeks at this property. The location was ideal for the activities we had planned, yet was very private with no neighbours (save the cows). The unit itself was very clean and well appointment. (The kitchen was of the best equipped we have seen in a rental) Communications with the host were excellent - throughout the lead up to the stay, and during.

Home Away From Home

A great experience at this roomy, yet cozy home. Very neat and clean as well. The 7 of us would greet one another each morning around the large kitchen island. Returning from the nearby beaches & tourist hotspots we'd prepare dinner together and recap our adventures around the family style dinner table before having a few nightcaps on the front porch amidst the moon & stars. Sounds ideal... and it was. Wifi was a bit weak but that was the case more or less on the whole island. Owner of house went above and beyond to help strengthen it which was really sweet and appreciative. Laundry machines worked well. Didn't really use the smart TV but it was there. In general, the whole place is well appointed and helped our family have a wonderful time enjoying all the island has to give. Special thanks/note to the powers that be for 7 days of GREAT weather!!! ~Los Angeles

From Sunrise to Sunset

The house is perfectly located for our lifestyle. We have the privacy and comfort we need with the beach and almost everything else only a short drive away. Wake up in the morning to observe the sunrise while seeping our coffee. In the evening the sunset is absolutely beautiful. In one word the house is located in the 'picturesque' part of PEI. Vickie (the host) was super awesome and very resourceful. And yes we are going back.

Fantastic location!

We were blessed to spend a week in beautiful PEI with two of our three daughters, a son in law and three granddaughters . Not knowing the lay of the land, we saw Vickie and JP’s house on VRBO and liked what we saw. It was beyond our expectation. The location was the best. We enjoyed a magnificent view from the front porch of beautiful green pastures and the ocean beyond. We were minutes to two beautiful beaches and five minutes to the town of Kensington. We were 25 mins from Summerside and the same to Cavendish, many little places in between to buy fresh seafood along the way. Charlottetown was about 35 mins away......a perfect location. We all loved our family time together there. We would definitely go back and I recommend this property to anyone who is looking to spend time in beautiful PEI, you will not be disappointed,. Vickie and JP were very attentive to our wants and needs while there. Great hosts!

The home was in a great location, close to highways to get around the island. The home was well stocked with everything. The owners were very polite and easy to deal with, answered any questions we had very quickly.

We had a wonderful time at your cottage. It is well equipped for a family and centrally located!

We really enjoyed being surrounded by those lovely farms with such a great view of the land and water, and within easy access to everything! The house is very well equipped and very comfortable! We will definitely come back !

Excellent place to stay!

Stayed here with my family, and my brother and his family in July 2017. The house was large enough to accommodate us very comfortably and was exceptionally clean. Vickie and JP were very helpful, kind, and accommodating during all email conversations. This property is very tidy and private. Lots of room in the yard (we enjoyed playing games with the kids and flying kites in the yard). Well stocked kitchen, plenty of bedding, and toiletries. A short drive to Kensington and you will find all amenities. Also a short drive to Cavendish where you'll find many tourist attractions and kid friendly theme parks. The house itself was a minutes drive from Cousins Beach which is gorgeous! We were very impressed and super happy with this vacation home! Couldn't have found a better place! Highly recommend!

Perfect family vacation home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were large. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The porch and its view were fantastic. Vickie was very friendly and helpful. There was loads of things for families, from books to games to sporting goods. We would recommend this home to any vacationing family.

I grew up exploring the beaches and hills of pei. When I left in 1983 I always knew I wanted to return.
My husband grew up in Montreal. We met in Nova Scotia married in 1989 and had 4 children. Every year we vacationed on PEI.
We moved to southeast Ontario in 2003. We desperately missed the east coast.
Every summer we would travel back to the east coast for 3 weeks. Best times were in a cottage close to the north shore of PEI.
Iguess we always knew we would move back and we started to look for our home away 2015.

I grew up exploring the beaches and hills of pei. When I left I always knew I wanted to return. When we were looking for a house on pei I knew this was the one the minute I walked in the door. Centrally located, friendly neighbours, a view of rolling hills, and the ocean.
I love to enjoy my coffee while I am entertained by the antics of the calves romping and playing in the field
My husband and I live in southeastern Ontario. When the heat and humidity hit we know where we can go where there will always be a lovely breeze. Long walks on the beaches, lobster dinners, or bringing the seafood back to enjoy out on the deck. There are lots of restaurants within 6 to 15 minutes. Kensington is 6 or 7 minutes for groceries and the walking trails
