Schöne Altbauwohnung im Zentrum von Barcelona

Reibungsloser Ablauf nach der Buchung mit problemloser Schlüsselübergabe und einem schönen Aufenthalt in Barcelona. Leider hinterher keine Beantwortung von meinen E- Mailanfragen durch die Vermieter. Unklarheit und Intransparenz was die Kaution betrifft. Die Kaution ist zwei Wochen nach meiner Rückkehr noch nicht auf meinem Konto eingegangen.

Ok location - Horrible apartment

Unfortunately, I cannot say anything positive about this apartment other than it’s in the Gothic District near restaurants and stores. We checked in late due to a delayed flight, we had to download an app to gain access into apartment and it wasn’t easy, took us awhile to get ahold of property management after hours. They provided exactly 4 of the oldest worn out thin discolored towels I’ve ever seen. They were so GROSS! No wash clothes or any other hand towels provided. The beds in all 3 rooms were so old and thin it was like lying on the floor, unbearably uncomfortable, we woke up sore every morning. The management company provided the bare minimum and super cheap items in the apartment. Luckily, we ate out a lot. I couldn’t imagine cooking anything in that small disgusting kitchen. Do yourselves a favor and stay elsewhere!!!

Pre cruise stay

Overall a nice place to stay. The only problem was getting in the main door. There is an app that allows you to lock and unlock the door to the apartment. But it wouldn’t unlock the main entrance. We had to wait for someone to go in or out.

Great location

Convenient to many attractions and just a short walk to the beach. The place was very charming and clean. The door lock Ap is a bit complicated but the property manager was a great help. I stayed with family members and would recommend this apartment.

Perfect location, kinda noisy

This apartment is in the perfect location to access all the main cultural sites. Great food all around. The area draws lots of foot traffic at all hours, which means the first floor apartment is noisy at night.

Dark and loud apartment in great location

We had several issues with this apartment. First of all, it is incredibly loud both right outside the apartment but also in the building with people slamming doors all hours of the day. Secondly, the beds were downright terrible. It felt like I was sleeping on a boxspring. The apartment has lots of windows, but nonetheless, it is quite dark inside. The washing machine was horrible - sounded like it was breaking and was so loud my kids wouldn't let me run it while we were there. I could never figure out how to get it to dry the clothes so I had to line dry them.

Really in the middle of things

This apartment was really perfect for us. We were a large family group so we really filled it. The location in el Gotic is amazing, the winding streets and shops and squares nearby. It is an active area so if you aren't looking for being in the middle of old Barcelona complete with night life noises, you might look elsewhere. We were very happy here.

Great Location

My family and I stayed here for three nights in November. We had plenty of room, showers had great pressure. The location is right in the heart of things. We liked how close it is to everything, but it is loud. Again, we knew that so it didn't affect our ability to sleep or anything. There were definitely some "extracurricular" activities happening on the corner, but we found that if we minded our business they would too.

Disappointing accommodations

Shower curtain in one bathroom covered in mold. Mold in same shower along with mold in bathtub area of second bathroom. Shower curtain was replaced. However overall cleanliness of both bathrooms was poor. In second bathroom along with the noted mold the sink faucet was so loose that it seemed it would become totally unfastened with any use. For the five night stay we were provided one roll of toilet paper per bathroom along with one towel and hand towel per guest. There were no laundry facilities of any kind provided. Both bedrooms had very poor lighting and opening the shutters was not an option due to street noise and lighting. The kitchen area was poorly equipped. The espresso machine did not work, it would not puncture the espresso pods. The drip coffee maker container leaked when poring the coffee. One of the Teflon fry /sauté pans was corroded and not useable. No dish towels were provided for cleanup.. Overall cleanliness was poor as was ventilation for the apartment partially due to the location on a corner street with 24 hour street traffic and pedestrian noise. The first night we experienced someone from the street throwing bottles onto the balconies which resulted in broken glass.

In the center of it all!

The Barcelona apt. was on a lively street between the Ramblas and a wonderful plaza with many excellent restaurants. Everything is close by and easy to find. Close to the port and all amenities . The apartment was a little smaller than the pictures convey but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Very good location

Great location, close to restaurants, shopping and central attractions. Overall clean apartment, except for mouldy shower curtain in one of the bathrooms. Window curtains hindered access to opening balcony doors. We did enjoy our stay.

Very central apartment but quite noisy

Apartment is located just off La Rambla and is easy to walk to many restaurants in the area. Check in was a breeze and the property manager was incredibly accommodating and helpful. It's worth bearing in mind how noisy it is at night in the bedrooms and living room of the apartment as the street noise comes through easily. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

perfect location!

This property was in the heart of the Gothic neighborhood, and central to all activities we wanted to do (beach, Montjuic, El Born, La Sagrada/Park Guell). There was plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids to spread out. The apartment was modern and clean. We loved having grocery stores right on the same block so we could make breakfast in the well appointed kitchen. Some reviews complained about the street noise, but there were fans in every room that we used at night and didn't hear much of anything. My only complaint is that we were charged a 10 euro late fee because we weren't at the apartment at 2pm (although I was never told a specific meeting time). Our flight was delayed and we arrived at the apt at 3pm- only 1 hour late! David was going to have us wait on the street with 2 kids and all our luggage in a strange city until 4pm when he could come back to meet us. When I told him we weren't comfortable with this plan, he rearranged his schedule and met us at 3 so we were very appreciative of that! Overall this was an amazing apartment and I would highly recommend!

Appartamento perfetto

Appartamento completamente rinnovato con gusto e funzionalità dotato di tutti i confort ed elettrodomestici. Letti comodi e bagni nuovi. Posizione eccellente attaccato a Plaza Real a due passi dalla Rambla. Forse un po’ rumoroso la notte a causa della movida ma le camere da letto sono insonorizzate dagli infissi doppio vetro. Particolarmente apprezzato il kit di benvenuto con tutto il necessario per poter fare caffè, the, oltre zucchero, olio, sale, aceto ecc, ecc.

Apartment has a great location

We loved the apartment and especially the location. We understand the lady that let us in,, had a problem with another apartment and was late for our 12:00 appointment. I lost (stolen) my backpack while we waiting for her. I am in no way blaming her but just not a good experience to start off our four days in Barcelona. Would like to rent the apartment again at some future date. Thank you all.

Location was perfect for visitors to Barcelona. We walked everywhere.

The apartment was large enough for three couples. The kitchen was large enough, and well appointed so we could prepare our Christmas meal. Christmas with our children in Barcelona was so memorable!

The apartment was great! It was in a great location close to Las Ramblas, restaurants and shopping. The bedrooms were spacious, perfect for 3 couples. We would definitely stay here again at our next visit to Spain

Hard to find and really not reachable by car, but once we found it we loved it! Perfect location!

It was hard to find, as Mapquest tells you streets to take that really aren't drivable with a rental car. But once we walked in to the Quarter and found on foot we were thrilled. The apartment is very spacious and clean and THE PERFECT location. Only a few steps away from Plaza Real which we loved eating, drinking and people watching in and on the other side only a few steps to Las Ramblas. Can walk to the beach, Metro, shopping, La Bouqueria, etc. Rarely did we have to take a taxi. Thought it would be loud because right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter, but when windows and shades are shut you really can't hear much street noise. Wonderful AC to come home to after sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again. I do wish we would have received fresh towels half way through our 4 night stay. There is a washing machine but no dryer and really no where to hang clothes outside. Had to hang clothes all over the apt. to dry them. But the location made up for that! I would recommend staying here.

Great location in gothic section of Barcelona

Excellent location on the corner of a busy ally way close to Plaza Real. Easy walking distance to all. Lots of restaurants very close by.. the one directly across from the apt was excellent. we were 3 couples and each had a bedroom. one was quite small but the other 2 were fine. If you are looking for a quite apt I would look elsewhere but overall very happy with the apartment. We were able to close the shutters at night and the noise effectively was blocked out.

Somewhat tired apartment and a very noisy location.

The apartment was roomy and clean but minimally furnished and in need of some fresh paint. Also, water pressure in the bathroom with the tub and hand-held shower was totally inadequate. Could do with a few more amenities like Kleenex, paper towels, face clothes and sufficient toilet paper to accommodate six people for three nights. Guests should not have to procure additional supplies by either request or purchase. The apartment is in the La Rambla district and we anticipated lots of activity because of the high concentration of "nightlife" in the area. Although the apartment is not in the immediate vicinity of bars and restaurants, the nightly noise level was next to intolerable because of the very noisy loiterers who congregating in the alleys until well past 2 A.M. every night. If you are not a night-owl you may want to look elsewhere.

Great apartment

The apartment is clean and well stocked. It is in a great location next to Plaza Reial and Las Ramblas. The young lady who let us in was awesome. She went over everything in the apartment. She also got a map and marked where good restaurants were and things to do. The one negative was the street noise which went on all night. I would recommend this for a stay in Barcelona.
