Luxuriöse Villa mit großem, 12 m langem Privatpool mit Blick auf einen Olivenhain mit Berg- und Meerblick in Vamos, Kreta.

Die Villa Chrysoula liegt auf einem hohen Hügel etwas außerhalb von Vamos, umgeben von alten Bäumen, Olivenhainen und wunderschönen Gärten. Mit herrlichem Blick auf Souda Bay und die Weißen Berge (Lefka Ori), ist dieses Gartenparadies lebendig mit Vogelgesang und Düften des Mittelmeers. Villa Chrysoula bietet viel Platz für Familien und ihre Gäste. Nur 500 Meter vom Zentrum des charmanten Dorfes Vamos entfernt, ist es nah genug, um zu allen Annehmlichkeiten zu gehen, aber weit genug, um sich wie auf dem Land zu fühlen.

Das Schwimmbad ist von schönen Gärten umgeben und hat einen Kleinkinderbereich. Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme stehen auf der Poolterrasse zur Verfügung. Kochen Sie auf dem Gasgrill (Weber) und essen Sie im Freien im Essbereich.

Das Erdgeschoss der Villa verfügt über eine offene Küche, die in ein geräumiges Wohn- und Esszimmer führt, das zu jeder Jahreszeit komfortabel mit gut ausgestatteten Klimaanlagen, Deckenventilatoren und Fußbodenheizung ausgestattet ist. Gehen Sie direkt im Freien auf die Terrasse, Garten und Pooldeck über Schiebetüren. Gern können Sie die Akustikgitarre, Brettspiele und Bücher genießen.

Die Küche ist mit hochwertigen Koch- und Kühlgeräten von Indesit sowie einer elektrischen Orangenpresse, einer Küchenmaschine, einer Kaffeemaschine und einem elektrischen Handmixer ausgestattet. Alle Töpfe, Pfannen und Geschirr sind bereit für Sie zu kochen --- ein Muss mit der unglaublichen Qualität der lokalen Küche in der Vamos und Apokoranas Bereich, vor allem das Olivenöl, Joghurt, Honig und Käse.

Die oberste Etage verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer mit Luxus-Top-Matratzen, Einbauschränke, Klimaanlagen, Deckenventilatoren und ein angrenzendes Bad / Dusche mit Badewanne. Beide Schlafzimmer gehen auf einen langen, gemeinsamen Balkon hinaus, auf dem Sie Sonnenuntergänge und eine herrliche Aussicht auf die Ägäis genießen können.

Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über eine geräumige Schlafzimmer-Suite mit 2 Doppelbetten, jeweils mit Luxus-Matratzen. Die Suite im Erdgeschoss verfügt über Einbauschränke, ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche und Haartrockner und kann über einen separaten Eingang betreten werden, so dass sie ideal für einen Familien- oder Gruppenbesuch ist.

Das Erdgeschoss ist mit einem großen Wasch / Nutzraum ausgestattet, der eine Waschmaschine, Kleidertrockner und Bügeleisen mit Brett enthält. Der Hauswirtschaftsraum hat auch eine zusätzliche Getränke Kühl- / Gefrierschrank.

Das traditionelle Dorf Vamos bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, darunter ein 24-Stunden-Gesundheitszentrum, Zahnarzt, Bank, Schule, Minimärkte und eine Vielzahl anderer Geschäfte. Das Dorf zieht auch Touristen an, die sich für die Archäologie und Geschichte dieses historischen Dorfes interessieren.

Vamos

The villa lies just outside the village of Vámos, which has a great selection of restaurants and cafes. It is ideally located a short drive to the lovely local beaches to the North and Chania and Rethimno both a short drive away. We loved the outside space and pool area, which offered spectacular views towards the White Mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at the villa and hope to return to further explore the area.

This is a very comfortable, spacious villa, ideal for a family holiday. We all loved the pool. The local village is very unspoilt and we felt we experienced real Crete. Views are fabulous and location is great for exploring much of the island.

Fabulous Villa

Spent a wonderful 11 nights at the villa. A extremely clean and well equipped property and much larger than it looks in the photos. Pool area is lovely and remains in the sunshine all day although there are many shady areas around the property in which to relax out of the sun. Great location for exploring this lovely island. We especially recommend snorkelling at Octopus Bay for a memorable experience. Plenty to do do but also the perfect place to relax. Would highly recommend to friends and family

Super villa.

We were 5 people in the villa i July. It is a lovely villa, with all you need for a holiday. There is nice and clean all over the place. There is only a short walh to Vamos, where there are some small supermarkeds and a handfull restaurants. In the village nearby named Kefalas we can recomment the restaurant Meterizi. Dorthe Bendix

Beautiful view!

The villa is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The view from poolside and balconies is stunning. A quiet location very close to Vamos village. A car means you can visit different beaches and villages as well as Chania & Rethymnon. Pool & villa cleaning service excellent. We had no difficulties but if we had, help was only a call away. Very good instructions in getting to the villa meant we could arrive late at night without difficulty. We were a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Highly recommend!

Feeling at home

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. Nicola, the owner, was attentive and welcoming. The house lacked nothing - we even enjoyed the guitar!! We were 4 adults and we constantly felt we had lots of space, privacy and quiet. From the beautiful gardens to the refreshing pool to the vistas from the villa - it was perfect. We were located in the beautiful Vamos with its many tavernas, bakeries and shops. It was one of the most relaxing vacations any of us had experienced with the slow pace of life in the many villages we visited the perfect antidote to our more rushed living. We would return in a minute to fall back into the beauty, the always amazing food and, of course, the beaches of unbelievable beauty of Crete.

A Perfect Holiday

What with the wonderful villa and its magnificent views of the mountains from the swimming pool terrace; the ever so helpful owners who were there to ensure the stay went smoothly and the good fortune to have two weeks of gloriously sunny weather our holiday was just perfect in every way. A perfect place to unwind

We had a great stay in this lovely villa in Crete. The villa had great views and a lovely pool and was only a very short drive to some fantastic beaches with clear warm water to swim in. The area is family suitable and you won’t struggle for things to do. We would definitely go back. The villa is comfortable and the air con and mozzie screens made the stay much more comfortable than other places we have stayed at. The pool was a hit with our 5 year old and kept him occupied for hours. There was also reliable Wi-Fi which was great for a few urgent work matters which had to be picked up whilst there. Locally there are places to eat and to pick up supplies and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts who were lovely and responsive. If you have a large group, renting the villa next door (the only other property very close) would be excellent. However, we only rented one and weren’t disturbed by the neighbours at all. All in all, a great place to stay in an area with some lovely beaches and clear warm seas! Octopus Bay was our favourite!

Vamos villa

Lovely villa with a great swimming pool. Lots of space outside both shaded and in the sunshine. Rooms were good size, air conditioned and fans so environmentally friendly. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed exploring Vamos and went to some really nice restaurants in Vamos (which is walkable) and also to a couple within a few miles of the villa. Love the Greek food and hospitality. The noise of the cicadas was a bit of a surprise, but they are a feature of Crete during the Summer months.

Better than advertised!

The house is spacious but doesn't feel too big because the rooms are spread out across 3 floors. The views of Souda Bay and the mountains are way better in person. The owner was always available and took the initiative to ask what we may need. There is Covid testing available at a private clinic in Kalyves nearby. Anything you can't find in Vamos, you can find there. Great location! I would definitely consider staying here again.

Villa mit wundervoller Aussicht

Die Villa hat einen wundervollen Pool und faszinierende Aussichten auf die Weißen Berge und das Meer. Beides haben wir sehr genossen. Das Haus bietet viel Platz und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Leider hat die Klimaanlage in einem Schlafzimmer jede Nacht nach zweit Stunden aufgehört zu kühlen. Die Vermieter haben sich Mühe gegeben, das Problem zu lösen, aber ohne Erfolg. Die Matratzen sind leider sehr hart. Aus unserer Sicht gehören sie dringend ausgetauscht. Im Souterrain arbeitet viele Stunden am Tag ein Gerät - wir vermuten eine Wasserpumpe - das doch für sehr viel Geräusch im unteren Schlafzimmer sorgt, auch nachts! Die Schlafzimmer im oberen Stockwerk sind davon aber sehr wenig betroffen. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt aber sehr genossen. Wie eingangs erwähnt - die Aussicht ist unschlagbar!

Schöne Unterkunft, nette Vermieterin

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Villa Chrysoula sehr genossen. Der Blick auf die Berge und der großzügige Pool waren für uns und unsere Kinder das Highlight! Die Kommunikation mit Nicola, der Vermieterin, war immer sehr freundlich und sie hat versucht alle unsere Wünsche zu berücksichtigen. Danke nochmals dafür! Im nahegelegenen Ort Vamos kann man alle Dinge für den täglichen Gebrauch einkaufen. Der nächste größere Supermarkt ist ca. 15 Autominuten entfernt. Wir waren dort allerdings nur einmal während unseres 10-tägigen Aufenthalts. Es gibt einige Strände in der Nähe von Vamos, der nächste ist in Almyrida, gute 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Für etwas größere und schönere Strände muss man dann eher 20 Minuten einplanen. Einzig die Matratze in unserem Doppelbett fanden wir zu hart und die Villa wirkt auf den Fotos etwas geräumiger als sie tatsächlich ist. Für uns sechs war es allerdings völlig ausreichend! Wir würden wiederkommen!

Super comfortable villa with amazing view

Exceptional villa, we will not forget this view from the dinning area by the pool. The house has everything, is located in the garden, you do not see other properties. Birds wake you up in the morning. In 10-15 min driving are good beaches, we went once to the southern part (50 min), beaches there , around Hora Sfakion, are excellent and empty.

Very well designed & comfortable property

This property was very easy to find from the directions and when we arrived everything was in order. The rooms were exactly as described and thankfully the air con was very efficient. The whole rental was totally hassle free. We had a very relaxing stay at the villa that met our requirements in every aspect, we did very little sightseeing this time in Crete so I expect to return to this Villa in the near future to remedy this. Spacious, bright and clean. Lovely pool and well equipped house.

Pool area was great with pretty garden and lots of different shady spots to sit in. House is well equipped and had air conditioning which meant we slept well. Plenty to do in the area for our week long stay. Xani in Chania was indeed a lovely restaurant. Would also recommend the Botanical Gardens. We made shorter trips to the beaches/diving point at Almyrida, Georgiopolous (v cold!) and Kefalas. Aptera was interesting (we went early in the day) and we spent our last afternoon before a late flight on a fantastic beach at Kalathas. Vamos is just a short stroll down the hill. A couple of nice restaurants and don't miss ice cream and cake from the cafe next to Georgina's. You can get essentials from the two little supermarkets. We would certainly recommend a visit to others.

Villa Chrysoula -a real gem for a great holiday!

We have recently returned from a wonderful holiday in Western Crete in May. Villa Chrysoula had everything that we needed. The owners have given a great deal of thought in making it a very comfortable and attractive home. It has large, light, sunny rooms with views to the mountains and the sea from the pool terrace and balconies.. The accommodation is very well planned and furnished, with plenty of storage space. The kitchen and utility room are particularly well equipped and will meet everyone's requirements with all its modern appliances. The lovely poolside terrace is surrounded by a pretty garden and it has complete privacy. The Villa is in an ideal position for exploring Western Crete, the Mountain Gorges, and the old city of Chania. The local village of Vamos, which is very close, has a number of excellent restaurants , cafes and shops, where we always received a warm welcome. We highly recommend Villa Chrysoula and enjoyed a great holiday in this beautiful part of Crete. Ian & Lyn, UK

Fabulous villa in great location

Our family of 3 stayed at Villa Chrysoula for 10 nights in June. The villa was well equipped, clean and spacious. There was plenty of outside space with numerous seating areas and very good sized pool. Nicola provided lots of information prior to travelling and there was plenty of guidebooks and useful recommendations for restaurants and shops in the local area. A welcome pack including essentials such as bread and milk was much appreciated. The villa is very versatile making it ideal for families both large and small. Lovely villa, short walk to charming village

We recently stayed here to relax at the villa and drive to nearby sights - Villa Chrysoula suited both perfectly. It is a clean, bright, beautiful house with full amenities for cooking, including BBQ. The pool is unheated and offers a refreshing swim; deckside chairs and tables in various corners allow you to move from shade to sun easily, and to enjoy mountain views. The garden flora is varied and there are some brightly coloured flowers. The villa is located just uphill from the town of Vamos, so it is secluded and peaceful, but very close to any amenities you might need. There are several grocery stores, tavernas, and the old village of Vamos to explore. Seaside towns and beaches are a short drive away, and there is a lot to see and do in the Chania region. Can't wait to get back!

Situated on a scenic ridge just outside of Vamos, this lovely villa offers privacy, beautiful views of Souda Bay and the White Mountains, and ample space to host families and their guests. Nestled in a Mediterranean garden setting, Villa Chrysoula is only 500 meters from the center of the charming village of Vamos: close enough to walk, but far enough to feel like you're in the countryside. Vamos offers all amenities, including a 24 hour health centre, dentist, bank, school, mini markets & a variety of other stores. The village also attracts tourists interested in the archeology and history of this historic village.
