Das Hamilton House liegt strategisch günstig in der Nähe der Sandy Bay und nicht weit vom Strand und Strand entfernt. Es handelt sich um eine schöne, halb freistehende georgianische Villa, die wunderschön renoviert und modernisiert wurde runden. Das Haus liegt nur 15 Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum von Exmouth und nur 20 Gehminuten vom Yachthafen und dem 3,2 km langen Sandstrand entfernt
Auf der Rückseite befindet sich ein abgeschlossener, ebener Rasengarten mit Terrasse (Tisch / Stühle) und am Ende des Gartens ein abgeschlossener Bereich (Tisch / Stühle) mit Grill. Großes Wohnzimmer mit Erkerfenster, Kamin und TV / DVD / Blu -Strahl. Gut ausgestattete Küche (Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Mikrowelle, Kühl-Gefrierkombination, elektrischer Doppelbackofen und Herd, mit Türen zur Terrasse, kleiner Tisch für 4 Personen. Eleganter Essbereich (bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten für 10). Hochwertige Jacquard-Bettwäsche und flauschige Bambushandtücher werden mitgeliefert. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein Doppel- oder Zweibettzimmer mit eigenem Bad (mit Reißverschluss zu einem 6-Zoll-Doppelbett verbindbar). Im Obergeschoss vier Schlafzimmer auf zwei Etagen. Im ersten Stock ein Doppelzimmer mit Blick auf Exmouth, ein Doppelzimmer mit Fernseher (ein Einzelbett kann bei Bedarf hinzugefügt werden) und ein Einzelzimmer. Badezimmer (Suite, Dusche über der Badewanne plus Handbrause). Im zweiten Stock befindet sich ein Zweibettzimmer mit 360-Grad-Blick über die Stadt. Ein atemberaubendes Familienhaus, perfekt für Zusammenkünfte an einem großartigen Küstenort. Ankunft nach 14 Uhr.

Zusätzliche Annehmlichkeiten umfassen: Sie können den Blick auf die schöne Exe Mündung genießen, die 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ist. Es gibt einen Radweg durch Fear Park in die Stadt, Budleigh Salterton und Sandy Bay. Der atemberaubende Exe Trail-Radweg entlang des Flusses bis nach Exeter und darüber hinaus ist auch nach einer kurzen Fahrt durch den Park zugänglich. Exmouth hat eine große Auswahl an Geschäften, Restaurants, Theater, Kino, Kegelbahn, Bars und Pubs sowie einen schönen Strand und Yachthafen. Great stay

An all male party of 6 stayed for 3 nights and the property suited us perfectly. Communication from the owners was good. The furniture was perhaps a little ‘tired’ but did not affect the quality of our stay as it has everything we needed.

Lots of space, great location & lovely enclosed garden

We were 3 families with 4 children staying for a long weekend. We found the house to be spacious and had everything we needed for a self catering break. The stairs are quite steep so you would need a travel stair gate if you have very small children. The garden is lovely and is enclosed so great for kids to run around in. The house is a short drive to the sandy town beach or a 20min walk so a great location. We had a really great stay and would recommend to others.

A short break by the sea

Fantastic facilities in near reach of the beaches. The property has five bedrooms as advertised with the best bed in the accessible ground floor annexe. The house is a period property with features like a fire place and both bath and showers. The garden was lovely as it allowed our small dog to roam. The kitchen was well equipped once we found everything and the cold water dispenser on the fridge was delicious even in this weather. We found the stairs to the top bedroom a little of a challenge but all in all a great place. That guests are trusted with a piano in the living room was really nice, even if we couldn't play! The hosts communicated well and we were left with a very useful handbook. We did get a little confused with the bins and the driveway was tight but with street parking all was fine.

Hamilton House

This a sizeable property and well placed for easy access to Beach, Town and shops. It has 5 bedrooms including a downstairs bedroom and en-suite. Some updating needed of facilities which has been fed back. However, this was a great success as it’s very hard to find suitable accommodation for people with mobility issues and I was staying with my parents who are 88 & 89 respectively. It had a small enclosed garden which is perfect for Animals and small humans a like. Lots of toys for children are provided. It’s a walk of approx 30 min to either Beach or town and both are easy to find. Co-op is only 10 min away and there is a garage practically next door for quick shops. Larger shops can be done in Tesco about 15 min drive. Lots of lovely places to eat but if you are a fan of seafood I highly recommend Rockfish for food, service and view. Fish and chips always better near the sea and China Garden or Chinese Garden ( I can’t remember) also delicious. The kitchen is adequately placed for cooking. Exmouth is a friendly town and people are happy to help out with with directions. We used Stuart Line Cruises for a Jurassic coast tour with cream tea and were able to take our dog. We have a lot of family in the area so mostly visited them. There is Castle Drogo near by. The owners are very helpful and responsive they were very patient and provided a new hairdryer so I could do my mums hair and checked the windows which I couldn’t work out how to shut 😂. I would stay here again.

Lovely holiday home

Really good family home,perfect for us with 4 kids and a dog. Garden was fully enclosed and very private. House a lovely size. Bedrooms comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and high quality equipment. Location is good for supermarkets, park and attractions. Beach is in walking distance but maybe not for young children with beach stuff. Cleanliness was good with plenty of cleaning supplies available. We had a lovely week and highly recommend this house. The only small problem is seating in the lounge is limited slightly but workable so didn't really impact us much. Was very surprised how quiet it was in the house considering we were just off a fairly main road!

Family Holiday

On a positive note the house is in a good position and a 6 minute drive to the beach. (Walk too long to carry beach equipment, especially with young children) The drive could only take one car but found car parking in the road. However the house, needs a good clean and maintenance. Two of the bedrooms need work as were not up to standard. The downstairs bedroom with ensuite is not shown in the photos to be an inside bedroom with no outside window, only a window and door leading to a corridor. The bathroom expelair was not working properly leading to mould and damp in the bathroom and consequently damp in the bedroom. This lead to clothes being tainted with a stale damp odour. All extremely unpleasant and not healthy as most of the family suffer with asthma. The single bedroom had so storage, shelves or wardrobe only a small bedside cabinet and no mirror and an old dirty shag rug , like other bedrooms. These need replacing. The kitchen cupboards and shelves we cleaned as were "sticky and some items needed washing before use. We found the whole house had a stale dusty odour and much more care needs to be taken with cleaning, the house needs a deep clean in all areas and maintenance work. The house is a 5 bedroomed house to accommodate 9 people but the dining table only seats 6 - we managed as we were 9 bringing in chairs but was a bit of a squash and not ideal. We were deeply disappointed and will not recommend this properly.

Nice house but things need attention.

House great but a few comments. Not really equipped for 10 ie seating area in lounge. Cleanliness average ie cupboard interiors could do with a clean. Lots of out of date baking food in one cupboard and unidentifiable kitchen equipment in another. Kitchen not greatly equipped ie no tea towels or dish cloths for washing up etc. Many bulbs not working. Stereo system identified on website replaced by an antique piano so we had no way of playing music etc. We liked the house. Lots of character but these areas do need some attention. Location fine. En-suite in gf room a little small. I am a wheelchair user but I managed. A plastic chair or stool available to use in the shower would be really helpful. We had a lovely time and would probably stay again if these issues were addressed. Many thanks.

Big family break

Large family house, never felt crowded, quiet location about 25 mins walk to the town-beach. Had a few minor issue that the owner fixed very quickly, property is quite creaky due to the natural floors but it adds to the character, good size kitchen for feeding everyone and enough space on the front to get one small and one normal sized cars.

Great home - plenty of room

Great for a family get together, plenty of room for everyone. The house is old so a bit noisy - creaky floors, doors, handles etc which was a bit of a pain with children at night. The first step of stairs are wooden and a bit steep; which caused a couple of accidents when wearing just socks...! Kitchen well equipped for our stay. The house was easy to find, close to shops and fuel stations, and not far from the sea front and Crealy. A great base for our family get together. Will defo return in the future.

Fantastic property, excellent location, clean and fully equipped. Highly recommend!

The house was large with good sized bedrooms and great garden. The kitchen had more than we needed with plenty of space to prepare food. The outside seating area was great and we used it lots. The BBQ was fantastic too! The bedding and towels were all of very good quality. We had such a great stay and plan to return again. Nothing bad to say! Surrounding areas - close to supermarkets, town and beach.
