Fabulous Location

Very clean. Central to just about everything you need. Comfortable beds. Great backyard area - however the pool was way too cold (beginning of April) so we did t use it much. Did enjoy sitting by the pool, though. Highly recommend this house.

Great Neighborhood

This house was just as it appeared on the website. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood, with lots of walkers and a park one house down. Kitchen appliances were dated but worked fine. Master bed was a little firm for our liking but spare bed was available and not as firm Not a lot of extra stock of paper good and cleaning supplies in the home but enough for a day or two. If staying for long visit or large group you will have to provide your own

Beautiful park hill home

The house was beautiful, backyard beautiful. Very roomy. Only complaints. Needs more and better pans, silverware, needs some blankets and some throw pillows for sofa. Overall great rental.

Over all excellent, location for what we wanted was great, value was superb. There were a few minor things we discussed with the owner, who was easy to contact via text. Much more convenient, fun and comfortable than staying in a hotel for twice the price! Will use again if available. ,,

Not what we were expecting

Beds were not comfortable- pillows so flat it didn’t feel like there was one. Yet two new queen mattresses just sat in the garage. 5 people for a 5 night stay and 4 total rolls of toilet paper. Outdoor patio chair cushions full of holes. One washcloth in the entire house. Two empty bottles of laundry detergent above the washer/dryer. I would have bought some at the store had I known there wasn’t any soap provided. No dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher. Outside grill utensils still covered with food from previous guest. No amenities such as Kleenex, no wall decor, extra blankets/bedding. Couch cushions have foam padding under the cushions- still not supportive when sitting. Master closet had zero lightbulbs, two of the three burned out in master bedroom. I contacted homeowner who immediately said he would send someone over to replace them if I could unscrew the fixture to tell him what the bulbs were. Sorry, I didn’t pack a ladder in my suitcase and there wasn’t one in the garage. One of our guests slipped and fell getting out of the shower and unfortunately put a hole in the bedroom door. I was charged the full damage deposit which is acceptable as damage was done but the bathroom door clearly had the same thing happen and just a metal plate screwed over the hole. I doubt my damage deposit is going towards the purchase and installation of a new door. Plus side: parking in a garage, beautiful pool (with a temp of 40 degrees), easy access to Starbucks, CVS and the interstate. The other guests summed it up nicely: felt like a fraternity house.

Great neighborhood

House was roomy and well located, nice yard with pool but too cold to enjoy in December. Bed was very hard and pillows were flat. We found a dog sitter a few blocks away that was awesome. We would defined return to the area

Arrived on Saturday late afternoon. Beautiful home! The house was exactly as expected! Great location for what we came into Phoenix to do! Very comforting to be able to have our pups with us during this time. Definitely feel was a great value for what we needed! Would definitely stay there again! Didn’t require any needs from David while there.

Remodel

We had to get a rental due to an unexpected remodel. This rental had fit our needs. House was nice and pool was comfortable. The owner took care of any issues that came up. It is worth staying here.

Clean property, great location and nice safe neighborhood.

We had 4 adults in our group and the 3 bedrooms gave us plenty of space. Would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool. The backyard was wonderful, quiet and pretty. David was wonderful to work with. We explored several different areas of Phoenix and getting around was easy.

We have used VRBO for years now and never have we had a bad experience everything including the pictures and managers were great until this time. My sister-in-law had never used them before and stayed with us and told us they would keep using hotels.Grounds had weeds that were at least 12" we were responsible to clean the pool that we could not use because it was not heated and they said the heat pump was broken plus the filtering system did not work. BBQ was rusted and only two of the four burners worked. Master Bedroom had water damage where the roof had leaked there was no TV in the room. Middle Bedroom the wall was coming away from the slab. Couch had a rip. I think the owner needs to come and look at the property and not take the managers word for what is going on. Just really disappointed in how the picture and when you got there how it was different. No security to the electric breaker box and the gates to backyard to the pool had no locks.

Things could have been better.

This house is located in the Cave Creek area - great location, centrally located to N Phoenix, Scottsdale and Cave Creek. We really enjoyed learning the area. David was responsive to any needs we had while there. His home would be perfect, if he updated things. I have told him what we thought needed to be done, so hopefully he will. If he does, I would rent again from him.

Great Spring Training Getaway

Nice house, good neighborhood and great owner... we had a blast; visiting with family and enjoying Spring Training Baseball. The nearness of the house to AZ 51 and Loop 101 freeways made it easy to reach spots all over the Valley. The house itself was nice, shower in Master Bath felt amazing, and the owner David was helpful, informative and super nice...

All in all it was a good stay

Great location, close to all interstates, so easy to get anywhere. Brought our 3 dogs, and it was great for them, the master bedroom has a door for them to go outside, there is a big grassy area for them to do their business. The outside was great, the patio furniture and the overhang kept you cool in the 80 degree weather, the grill worked great, so nice to have meals at home. Did not use the pool as it was very cool. The master bedroom was very nice, good size and nice bathroom and shower, very big closet, it would have been nice to have a TV in there. The second bedroom has a funky blue light overhead, which was different. the third bedroom was nice with a twin beds and a closet. The living room has a great TV, with an easy remote, so many times remotes take a 12 year old to figure it out, but push one button and your are watching TV, there were DVD and other video devises that we did not use, the leather couch and sectional were comfortable. The heater keep you warm in the cool nights, The kitchen was good size but needed some more pots and pans and the silverware was older, and smaller with plastic handles, the dishwasher did not have a utensil holder so you just laid them on the shelves, and sometimes they would fall to the bottom, plenty of sharp knives, but needed some other things, like a can opener, The oven and stove top worked great, the refrigerator was good size and kept all the adult beverages chilled to perfection. The garage was plenty big and the opener was great to keep the car cooler. The washer and dryer worked great. The whole place could use a once over with a little patching of drywall and paint, and maybe a women's touch to make it a little more homey, with pictures other little things. David and his property manager did a great job with any questions or problems. All in all it was a good stay, Steve F

For ten years I have worked in hospitality management, and top luxury hotels in front end service. I am putting our home on, because I know the struggles that families face when looking for a hotel (high price, limited room, etc.) We are always looking for ways to make your stay more enjoyable, and at the end of the day ~ we love what we do .

I am currently working towards my MBA, so I am traveling back and forth from Canada to the States. I cannot live without my beautiful wife Irina, sunshine, my guitar, and Netflix documentaries.

We have been so exposed to a corporate world, that sometimes we forget the essence of human existence. We must remember to love, cherish, and flourish on this beautiful planet of ours.
