In malerischer Lage am Fluss Toccoa im Zentrum des Erholungsgebiets Aska mit herrlichem Panoramablick können Sie alles genießen, was der Fluss zu bieten hat: Schwimmen, Angeln und unsere Lieblingsschläuche direkt vor der Hütte. Entlang des Flusses und am Fuß unserer Hütte liegt eine grüne Wiese, geschmückt mit bunten wilden Blumen, eine Feuerstelle, eine Hängematte, ein Esstisch und eine Schaukel. Nachts erleuchten Feuerfliegen und Sterne den Himmel. Sorry, Haustiere sind NICHT erlaubt.

Entspannen Sie in einer der vielen Schaukeln, Schaukelstühlen oder Hängematten auf der Veranda, die sich hoch unter hohen Kiefern befindet. Im angrenzenden Chattahoochee National Forest befinden sich zahlreiche Wanderwege, darunter der Appalachian Trail. Weitere Aktivitäten in der Nähe sind Reiten, Seilrutschen, mehrere Golfplätze, Wildwasser-Rafting, Brutplatz für Forellenfische, Wasserfälle und Antiquitätengeschäfte. Nahe gelegene Städte sind Blairsville, Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Elijay, Helen und Dillard.

Cozy Comfort

We loved our visit. The cabin was nice and easily accessible and close to town & other activities. It was a peaceful spot! Cabin had everything we needed to enjoy a quiet Thanksgiving by the fire and also provided entertainment for the kids. Wifi, ping pong table and feeding/watching the birds on the back porch were at the top of their list.

Had a great time with the family. The boys enjoying fishing and gold mining near by. The ladies enjoyed the shopping and the views were loved by all!! Will visit again!

Outstanding

We arrived after dark and the driveway had a sharp left to get onto it that was a little difficult to see. The cabin was excellent and had everything we needed including firewood. It was very peaceful with the sounds of the creek nearby. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful!

The cabin was amazing! I loved waking up to the river and the beautiful view from the porch. There were a lot of spiders around, but the cabin was in a great, quiet location. It was equipped with everything that we needed such as towels, extra blankets, and all types of kitchen needs. We really enjoyed our time in the northern Georgia area!

Overall great experience. My greatest complaint was the cleanliness. Dishes in the cabinet were not adequately cleaned from previous guest. Bathroom needed a scrub, there was dirty washcloth on the floor. Print the entry code before you get there, as there is not internet until you connect to the wifi. Driway is difficult to maneuver. Overall nice cabin, and would stay again

Sweet, rustic getaway

The sweet, rustic little cabin is mostly secluded within the trees. There are cabins on either side...they were both empty during our stay. We enjoyed sitting on the porches and listening to the sounds of the river and nature. We saw deer every time we left and came back. We were able to relax and enjoy our time together without the kids for our 20th anniversary...which is what we wanted. There is a bit of a mountainside walk down to the river and common area...which was fine for my husband but not easy for me. (I'm just not a hiker.)

Great access to Toccoa River to tube down! Blue Ridge is less than 30 minutes into town. Tons of hikes all near. Great time with family and friends.

Peaceful

This cabin sets way back from main road. The canopy hides the cabin and you feel so connected with nature. The sound of the river is relaxing and inviting to go trout fishing. I wished I lived there!

Great Cabin

The cabin itself was great. The only disappointment was with the walkway to the river. The walkway was grown up with weeds and poison ivy. The stairs in the picture that went into the river were tore down. The weeds along the banks of the river was very grown up as well. We had to leave the property to find places to enjoy the river. Also the bed in the downstairs bedroom was very worn and uncomfortable. Other then that the cabin was very peaceful and nice.

Peaceful riverside retreat

We really enjoyed our peaceful stay at this property. It is pretty secluded, about 30 minutes to town. Rushing river was lovely, loved the outdoor living with multiple swings, hammock, and sitting area. Nicely stocked kitchen. I appreciated, having lots of towels, washrags, and a hairdryer. We enjoyed the fire pit and gas BBQ as well. Note-that the two single beds are in a loft. Also, it is a bit of a hike down to the river. There is a nice handrail and stairs, but part of the path is walking on roots and rocks, might be challenging for seniors with balance issues. We only caught a few small fish. But sure enjoyed the rushing river.

Short getaway trip

This property was even better than pictured! We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed a week. Perfectly remote for me and my fiance. It was cozy and down by the water was beautiful. The cabin is straight out of a dream. Water pressure in the shower felt great after a long day hiking. Kitchen pretty much had everything we needed to cook. Can’t recommend this property enough, we will be back!

Hidden Gem

We came up from Tampa for our winter vacation and to celebrate our son's birthday and the New Year in Blue Ridge. Everything about this cabin was absolutely perfect! It was warm and inviting and rustic and placed in the perfect spot! The kids loved sleeping up in the loft, the family room was cozy, the deck on the back provided a beautiful view down to the river, and the cabin was completely stocked with absolutely everything we needed. Plates, silverware, drinking glasses, mugs, pots, pans, cookkng utensils, linens, everything. Even the freezer was stocked with frozen glasses and many pre-filled ice cube trays (sounds like a little thing, but it shows attention to detail). One of the cabinets had staples like salt, pepper, sugar, and some basic spices. I wonder if some of the spices were left by previous guests, which would be a cool way to fill the spice cabinet. The basement has a ping pong table and darts for creating family rivalries, as well. The cabin is just a short walk down some steps to the Toccoa River. There's an open, flat area beside the river where the kids played, a swing, picnic area, fire pit, horseshoes, and steps providing access to the river. This place is a secluded paradise and we cannot wait to return!

Great relaxing stay.

Beautiful property and home. Very relaxing and quiet, peaceful place. It’s a nice getaway, but bring provisions. It’s a bit of a ride to town if you’re not used to mountain roads. Not to far to attempt and beautiful countryside but it can make you queasy if you’re not used to it. House was fully equipped and ready, just know that phone reception is horrible and until you get on Wi-Fi don’t expect to use data to find information when you get there.

We are both third and forth generation Tampa natives. We both are retired and enjoying every minute of it. We now live on a large ski lake in Land-o-Lakes,Fl. just north of Tampa .

We vacation in the area in the area in a small travel trailer with our two sons and fell in love with area. We then started looking of a lot on the river to build our cabin. We now spend more time with our grandkids and love it as much as we do.
