The MOST Stunning House! A MUST in Palm Springs

If I could give this stunning home 10 stars, I would. This house is truly stunning! Even better in person. A group of 8 girls stayed and every one of us was so obsessed with the house & decor - one you would see in a spread in Architectural Digest. This gorgeous home is fashioned in mid century furnishings with a bohemian touch, this home is the epitome of Palm Springs. The backyard is a dream! The floor to ceiling glass doors make the house so light, bright and welcoming. The Host's, Mark and Scott, were the best! So responsive if we needed anything and beyond gracious! Thank you for being terrific hosts and the best girls weekend I could have ever imagined! Can't wait to visit this property agian! Thank you!

Gem of Palm Springs

This property was immaculate in every way... from living room, kitchen, to the backyard pool space. Spacious for 4-5 families to sprawl around and relax. It seems lot more spacious than the sq ft (may be casita is not added onto sq ft advertised). Would definitely be booking it again and have no reservations recommending it to anybody.

Perfectly elegant compound with a nomadic vibe

From the beginning, Scott took great care of our party. He let us know when the cleaning crew was done so that we could check in early and continued to be very attentive throughout our stay if we needed anything. The house was perfect for us (5 adults)--the pool and spa were big; the rooms were comfortable and the grapefruit trees in the front yielded great fruit for cocktails. Highly recommend! Maisha

The House of Galanos was perfect. Great house, well equipped and very comfortable. The location and neighborhood couldn’t have been better. Walking the neighborhood was a treat with so many architectural styles to see. Close to everything and easy to get to. It’s everything you want in a Palm Springs retreat. Felt like home.

Above and Beyond Our Expectations

We felt immediately at home in this amazing property. The amenities and decor of the home, pool area and casita are luxurious yet very comfortable. Scott and Mark were extremely responsive and accommodating every step of the way, from booking to simple questions during our dreamy stay. Our family of 4 mountain biked, hiked, and walked the historic neighborhood in the mornings, relaxed in the pool and gorgeous spa in the afternoons, and cooked or food in the evenings. We especially enjoyed our time playing the piano together intermittently throughout our perfect days and evenings. Friends came for a brief stay in the casita and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend this FIND, and plan to return as often as possible. Thanks for everything Scott and Mark!

All around enjoyable

We had a wonderful experience staying in Las Palmas. The weather was exceedingly hot (110+) so we made great use of the pool! Everything we needed was provided for us - towels, even sunscreen, straw hats, etc. such thoughtful details that were not expected but appreciated. The home itself is a dream, decorated to perfection in every way with a gorgeous kitchen. We had a chef come over each night so we didn’t ever leave the property which made it entirely relaxing. Scott was nothing but gracious from our first correspondence. He referred the chef to us, gave recommendations on restaurants and worked with me through every detail of our stay. We were more than pleased with his attention to detail and quick responses. I have already shared this jewel of a property with several friends and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a gorgeous and relaxing getaway. I have already started looking at future dates to return.

Perfection!

We highly recommend this gorgeous Palm Springs sanctuary!!! The facilities and amenities were even better than we expected and we had the best time. The home is very well-contained so you don't need to go out and food delivery options are extensive. If you're looking to relax and spend quality time with loved ones, this place is perfect. We were a party of 8 (2 families - 4 adults and 4 teenagers) and we had the best time. I was initially worried that the home was too perhaps too nice to be able to relax in (what if we break something?) but not only is it gorgeous, artistic with a very unique charm, it's also very comfortable and homey. We had no problem relaxing. We found a fifth ensuite bedroom that we didn't end up using or needing and the little Casita was absolutley perfect for the teenagers to hang out in!! The pool and spa were to die for - and an absolute must given the heat. We pretty much floated and chatted all day in the pool which had a surprising amount of shade for a good part of the day. The water feature/fountain added a relaxing vibe and feel to the outdoor space. And the mountain views!!!! Simply breathtaking, especially as we sat in the shaded conversation/seating area. As other reviews have stated, the layout of the home and the outdoor area are simply perfect. The kithen had everything we need for a few home cooked meals and we balanced that with ordering out. Scott and Mark were so responsive and just terrific hosts. I highly, highly recommend this home and we hope to return in the next few months. Thank you Mark and Scott for a much needed "get away" that surpassed all our expectations. 💕👍🤗

Las Palmas Sanctuary

This property was exactly what the doctor ordered. With all of our planned trips cancelled this year due to the Covid-19 situation, we needed a break from our own home and to get the kids and grand kids together in a safe and comfortable place. This was just the ticket. Just as the pictures communicate, this home was perfectly set up for our group. 6-adults and two grandchildren all in one compound without any needs from the outside world, let us have a real distraction from the world. The home itself was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The backyard was our playground as the pool and spa were both spacious, refreshing and well maintained. Other than an ice run or some fresh vegetables, we never left for anything other than morning hikes. This neighborhood is the place to hunker down. Many times vacation rentals make you feel like you are intruding into a neighborhood that has its own rhythm; not Old Las Palmas. Each home is its own compound and you never see anyone. Of course, this is summer time and the crowds are already gone, but this was Palm Springs living at its best. If you are thinking Staycation, I can recommend Scott's home without question. You will leave relaxed.

Beautiful and relaxing

Great home and option for Palm Springs. Easy and communicative booking process. Beautiful house, well appointed, lots of amenities and gorgeous outdoor space and pool. We all travel extensively and have demanding jobs. We could not need a break more and the house provided the comfort to do so. We never left, cooked, BBQ’d, read and sat in the pool. It’s the little touches that make it more enjoyable: gorgeous kitchen, multiple outdoor spaces (dining, lounge chairs, couches), Sonos sound system, automated blinds, grapefruit trees, built in BBQ. Gorgeous light, tall ceilings. There were only 4 of us: couple and 2 singles. Everyone had more than enough room. Walking to shopping and around the quiet upscale neighborhood. Really can’t say enough nice things. Can’t wait to return.

Fantastic Thanksgiving

Perfection in Old Las Palmas! Truly 10 Stars!

We have rented many homes in Palm Springs over the past decade and can truly say that this is our hands-down most favorite home to stay. Even better in person than the online pictures. First class everything - home history, interior design, housewares, linens, pool, and location - this place has it all. True perfection. Scott (the owner) is a consummate professional, a lovely person to deal with who clearly takes great pride in his world class home and in ensuring his guests enjoy themselves. It's a short stroll from House of Galanos to Ernest's on Palm Canyon for morning coffee, and groceries, wine, top-notch restaurants are a mere 5 minute drive away. We spent the entire week living outside in the back yard, soaking up the sun in the amazing pool/spa. Old Las Palmas is the quintessentially dreamy Palm Springs neighborhood with perfect mountain vistas, spectacular mid-century homes, and multi-million dollar celebrity estates.10 stars all around! Book it.

This property is sooooo amazing! I wish I never had to leave... everything was perfect.

Just returned home from a heavenly weekend spent at this wonderful property!. Every aspect of this house is perfect. The interior design is a feast for the eyes... every room is so beautiful! The view from the living room/dinning room is incrediable! The pool is perfect... we literally lazed in the pool each day and sipped beverages and did a whole bunch of nothing! The kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals if you like. We will never rent a different house in Palm Springs EVER. And Scott was a dream to work with. So responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait for our next trip back :)

Absolutely Perfect!

This home is glamorous and quiet all at the same time. We loved it! We visited for two days and enjoyed the spacious layout as well as all of the amenities: pool, hot tub, TV, air, and walkability to town. The guest house air was set at 74 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the night and it seemed that only the owners are able to change the temperature. I would recommend that you request it a bit cooler for the evenings. This would be an absolute must if you have multiple people sleeping in the guest house. It was only me and so I chose just to leave it be. The temperature in the main house remained perfect throughout our stay. Surprisingly, there were several condiments in the refrigerator, a bit of coffee, and a few spices available for use. This was an unexpected and useful treat. Our first night we had Italian food delivered from Upper Crust Pizza; it was delicious. The next morning three of us walked 2-3 blocks for specialty coffees. The coffee shop was charming. We opted to carry out coffee and large ice waters. This allowed us to walk the neighborhood for another 45 min and check-out the scene. After viewing several gorgeous properties and the honeymoon home (currently for sale) of Elvis Presley, we cruised back for a rotation of pool and food throughout the remainder of the weekend. The owners were easy to reach and accommodating in every way. Thanks, Guys!

Spectacular!

Scott and Mark Anton are terrific hosts. Awesome to communicate with, super helpful, and ready with a great restaurant recommendation when you need it! Their home is incredible. It is spacious, well-laid out and beautifully decorated. The view of Mt. San Jacinto from the backyard pool is to die for, and the location is perfect. Highly recommend!

Perfection!

The House of Galanos is downright dreamy! If you appreciate exquisite and out of the ordinary interior design, you will be thrilled to stay in this beautiful home. It's an extremely chic and well appointed house, with attentive owners who responded quickly to any questions we had. Its rare that you walk into a home and feel like you wouldnt change a single thing, but this is one of those homes. Cannot wait to go back!

Top notch home in top notch neighborhood

Spacious well maintained attractive home. Coach house sleeps up to 8 ! Pool and yard are a gorgeous private space to relax day and night. Very functional kitchen dining and living areas. Sonos music system and New Samsung TV's with Netflix a nice touch. Interior design has a lot of flair and the furniture is all comfortable. The area is considered the best in Palm Springs. We've rented homes in the area before. This home is one of the best and is priced competitively. Be sure to stroll or bike the neighborhood. There are a lot of interesting estates. Also check it the vista las palm as area just West. Many wonderful mid century houses beautifully maintained. Overall this home is a big winner.
