Great place for family reunion!!

Plenty of space for sleeping, food prep and serving, as well as plenty of things to do on site (we didn't even have time for everything!) And we loved that it was so near other things to do off-site as well. We got a lot of use out of the sport court! Had it been a little warmer on our last full day, we would have made better use out of the pond. Craig made sure we knew he just was just a call away if we needed anything. The ropes course at BYU-Idaho was a hit--a must do if there are teens or young adults wanting a challenge! Thanks Craig and Virginia, our family loved our time there! P.S. I personally loved going to sleep to the distant sound of the hay baler--just like when I was growing up :-)

Perfect family getaway

This was the perfect place for our family to gather. There are so many amenities to enjoy. We loved our time here. The kids loved the playground, trampoline, giant swing set, pond and sports court. The huge dining room and outdoor patio gives plenty of seating for mealtimes. The property is beautiful and peaceful.

Great location for a Family Reunion

This is a gorgeous property. The listing is great, but still does not do it justice. We had plenty of room for sleeping, games, meals, and just sitting around. The outdoor facilities are awesome. We spent hours playing and swimming in the pond. Everyone loved it. The courts and game chest were great for enjoying the rural area. It is very quiet and very relaxing. Everything is in great condition. The owners are onsite and available but never intrusive. They could not have been any more welcoming or gracious. The initial walk through was very complete and helpful. The pride in ownership came through and was very appreciated. Would definitely recommend this property and look forward to returning ourselves.

So perfect!

We loved this property! There were 40 of us for our family reunion and it was SO perfect!! Plenty of place to eat together, tons of fun things outside for little kids to adults to do, and lots of beds!! Because it isn’t brand new I didn’t stress as much about the kids being kids! The lenders were so darling too! We would FOR SURE book this place again!!

Tons of fun

We had 20 teenagers there and they loved the property. The house was on the older side of things but very comfortable and not scared to walk in the house. The hosts did everything right. Great amenities from kitchen, pool table to court and outdoor cooking. We would stay there again no issues.

Daughters Wedding Reception

Stayed in the house for 10 days and held our daughter's wedding reception there. Craig and Virginia were amazing hosts and very helpful. Couldn't have asked for nicer people to rent from. The house and property were better than we expected, and the event was amazing. Close enough to Yellowstone and Island Park that we could travel every day to see the sights. Golf down the street, sports court was great, overall, an amazing trip. Thank you Craig and Virginia for making our daughter's wedding something we will never forget. Hopefully we can make it back up to stay with you!!!

Family Reunion

We had 24individyals. And every one of us had a great time. Great amenities and lots of space to enjoy being together and not smashed in. We hope to visit again someday. Downsides: No conditioners for hair in the showers. Windows were very difficult to open. There was no way to block the wind from blowing out the industrial sized outdoor griddle top.

Great space

Plenty of room, lots of fun things for the kids to do. We were there for four days and only left the property once, to go to a waterpark. The rest of the time we kept busy with the pickle ball court (brand new), trampoline, swing sets pool table and other on-site activities. Large kitchen and eating area with plenty of storage for our food. Owner was very responsive to inquiries and requests. Great guy.

Great extended family place

There were lots of things for everyone. The littlier kids loved bouncing on the trampoline all the time and playing in the sand pit and playgym. The adults and older kids loved the new pickleball/basketball court and the volleyball net. The swings were a nice place to sit and visit while keeping an eye on everyone. We loved the big eating room where we could all sit down together. Definitely a place we would love to go back to.

An awesome home away from home

Our family of 31 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! So many fun features to this home! The owners were delightful and so helpful. It has large outdoor spaces for lots of activities and plenty of parking. We used the newly installed sport court several times a day, as well as the additional volley ball net! The trampoline, large swing set, outdoor play yard, and pond were a hit with the grandchildren. The indoors has lots of great gathering spaces. We enjoyed the cousin bunk room, the garage dining area was perfect as well as the outdoor covered picnic tables, and the outdoor kitchen/grilling area was awesome! Cooked most of our meals out there! Plenty of refrigerator and freezer space. We would happily come back here again! Thank you Craig & Virginia!

SUCH A FIND FOR OUR FAMILY REUNION!!!

I grew up on a farm in SE Idaho, but that farm is no longer available to us as a gathering spot. We are thrilled that we found Porter's and their amazing facility! We usually have people who want to sleep in tents or bring a travel trailer, so we were happy to learn of those accommodations. We had such great spaces to visit, to eat together, to play outside, to gab, to do puzzles, to watch movies and slideshows, to sleep, and to use bathrooms! It was perfect! The Porter's took such good care of us from start to finish and were so available for ANY question! The weather was perfect! We lucked out and got to watch the neighbor bale and haul his hay (a treat for our city kids). And we loved the proximity to stores and the BYUI gardens and ropes course. Thank you Porter's!

Lovely house. Great for big families.

This was our second year in a row staying here, and it just was as great as the first time if not better. We have a huge group of nearly 50 people, ages ranging from newborn to 70s. With the RV spots (which can also be used for charging EVs), it can accommodate a lot of people. The kids ask all year long if we’re going to the house in Idaho with the swings :) We’ve made so many memories here and love this place so much.

Beautiful peoperty

All the amenities and a beautiful property. It does need updating, but everything is clean and rental rates are affordable. Downstairs is a little maze-like which made for some awkward situations--having to go through bathrooms to get to bedrooms. Overall really good.

Great Amenities!

We had a family reunion with all ages during our stay, and I think our favorite was the snow cone machine, ice machine, volleyball net, playground, and the large 5-foot griddle. They gave us a tour of the property right as we arrived, and we felt comfortable right from the start. This is a great place to hold a family reunion (probably also because of its seven bathrooms.) We would come again in a heartbeat.

We were fortunate to acquire this property on 20 acres when our five boys were young. They learned how to work by moving pipe in the field and had lots of fun roaming the river bottoms and jumping their bikes into the pond. When they grew up and flew the nest we decided to convert our home into a family reunion center so others could benefit from the ability of the property to accommodate large gatherings - and there will always be room for the boys and their growing families to come and visit!
