Diese Ferienoase hat viel zu bieten. Das Haus bietet viel Platz im Inneren mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 1 Bad sowie einem offenen Wohnbereich. Aber es sind die Außenbereiche, die Sie wirklich begeistern werden. Das Anwesen umfasst zwei Decks auf beiden Seiten des Hauses, eine Feuerstelle und 10 Hektar zu genießen! Die Aussicht von der Spitze des Anwesens ist fantastisch, um ein Picknick zu machen oder den Abend mit Sternen zu genießen - wofür das Ohiopyle-Gebiet (mit seinem niedrigen Umgebungslicht) bekannt ist! Das Beste ist, dass diese Unterkunft weniger als 3 km von der Innenstadt von Ohiopyle entfernt ist, was einen schnellen Zugang zum Radweg, Rafting und Angeln bedeutet! Genießen!

Weekend in the Mountains

We had a great stay just outside of Ohiopyle, on a warm, beautiful November weekend. Your property was clean and the beds and furniture, comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was a nice experience after walking the trails at Ohiopyle.

Weekend Getaway

R&R was the perfect spot for our weekend trip to enjoy Ohiopyle. It was exceptionally clean with all needed amenities and beautiful surroundings. It was in a great location to the park and we will plan to stay there again!

Quiet getaway

Close to Ohiopyle sites yet the short drive to the house brings you to a quiet country setting. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets on the hill and walking around the area after dinner. Peaceful. We had a couple of issues; the owners were very responsive and helpful.

Peace and quiet

Very lovely. The cottage was located away from the road and was very quiet. As we watched the sun set, a doe and her fawn came down the driveway. Close to all the places we were visiting - Fallingwaters, Kentuck Knob, Laurel Caverns and the GAP trail. The outdoor space was very comfortably furnished. Too cold to white water raft.

Great, quiet getaway

Stayed several nights to get away from work and enjoy Ohiopyle. What a great location just a few miles out of town on very private property. It was very peaceful. The cabin was impeccably clean and well appointed-we wanted for nothing while there. The fire pit and hot tub were great amenities as well. Highly recommended!

Quiet, country setting

Loved the quiet. Close enough to Ohiopyle to do whatever we wanted, but felt like we were coming home to our own little spot in the country. Deer and Turkey in the field, birds calling, and really couldn’t even hear cars. Sunset was gorgeous from the top of the hill. Communication with the property manager/owner was seamless. Very helpful and super friendly.

Comfortable lil place hot tub very disappointing

Nice place an location but the hot tub was the worse the temperature reads 100 but the water was probably 80 an was very slimy an didn’t seem like it was drained an cleaned mybe like someone just dumped a bottle of bleach in it.

Comfy and clean

House was comfortable and clean. We had three adults so dining was a bit tight at the small table but it all worked. An extra folding chair for kitchen table would be a great addition. House was very convenient for everything we had on our agenda-hiking and touring Frank Lloyd Wright houses. Ohiopyle is a great place to visit!

Great base for riding GAP trail both directions from Ohiopyle

Very comfortable, well-equipped home. Enjoyed the quiet afforded by distance from the road, enjoyed birds and occasional deer. Only thing lacking was ways to hang clothes. No closets. Excellent internet access but choice of TV/video programming from Dish didn't satisfy our normal viewing preferences.

Girls hiking and rafting trip

This was an amazing place. We loved staying here. It was super clean and the location was convenient. We truly enjoyed all the amenities on the property, hot tub, grill, and fire pit. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to visit the Ohiopyle area.

Perfect place for us

This home was just the perfect place for my husband and I to call home while in the Ohiopyle area! It was a short drive to town, the state park, and Fallingwater, yet we were really away from the road or town noise. The place was wonderfully clean and the hot tub was great to soak our sore muscles after hiking and white water rafting. We would definitely stay here again if we visit the area! The only recommendation I can make for the owners is to add a tall chest of drawers to the two bedrooms since they don't have closets so guest can unload their suitcases and really feel at home. Thank you for having such a clean and comfortable place for us to stay!!

Cozy home in a perfect location.

My husband and I stayed here on a weekend getaway in Ohiopyle. The property was in a quiet area a couple of miles from town, making it an ideal spot to stay. The home was very clean and had the items needed to do cooking. (Do remember to bring your staples like coffee, butter, sugar as those items are not there). The home was comfortable for the two of us. Although it sleeps four, there would not have been living room seating for 4, unless you pulled over a kitchen chair, so keep that in mind if you will be spending more time inside and have 4 people. That being said, there is plenty of outdoor seating if the weather is suitable. We enjoyed the private location, seeing wildlife and spending time outside. We did several hikes in the area and loved the time spent outside. We had a dusting of snow both mornings. While many businesses are closed in the off season when we were there, we enjoyed the Falls Market and the Falls City Pub (unfortunately the local bakery was closed over the time we were there...I guess we'll just have to go back :-)). The Ohiopyle State Park Visitors Center has a very nice museum/info center in the lower level with a gorgeous view of the falls.

Great location

Cute, clean and quiet, very close to Wright houses and Ohiopyle hikes. The hot tub could use an upgrade: It did not maintain temp on a 60 degree day, was small for three adults, and smelled of chlorine. Very nice propane grill on the deck.

Nice little gem

This place is a hidden gem. It’s perfect for a getaway where you just want quiet yet comfortable surroundings. The sunsets were amazing as well. The cottage was well stocked and the space was comfortable. It’s location is very close to outdoor recreation, falling water, and white water rafting. Made for an easy / central place to rest.
