Angie ist 24 h am Tag erreichbar, um im Notfall als Englisch/Portugiesisch-Vermittler zu agieren. Sie kümmern sich um alle Belange der Immobile & Zubehör, organisieren auf Wunsch Mietwagen/Taxi & Golf (zu Vorzugspreisen) auf den lokalen Plätzen. Sie holen bei Abreise die Schlüssel ab, machen Ihren check-out (der um 12 Uhr ist, wenn nicht anders vereinbart) & erstatten Ihre Kaution.

Mietwagen: Die meisten der bekannten Autovermietungen sind am Flughafen Faro vertreten. Wegen der besseren Preise bevorzugen wir jedoch eine kleine lokale Autovermietung namens Algarve Rent a Car, ansässig in Almancil unter +351 289 395 316. Deren Repräsentant wird Sie am Flughafen von Faro treffen und Ihr Wagen steht gleich auf der anderen Straßenseite vom Terminal. Bei der Buchung achten Sie bitte darauf, die richtige Internetadresse zu verwenden, da es sehr ähnliche Namen gibt! Most beautiful place

We had the best time in Tavira at Rogers place. Everything had been thought of, we needed for nothing! The villa is beautiful and we were so well looked after. We were two families, one with teenagers and one with 2 x 5 year olds and we all had the best time. The layout was perfect for our families needs. It’s so much nicer than it looks in the pictures and the pictures look fantastic! We will definitely be back in the future and highly recommend this place to everyone.

Fabulous Property

This is a great property, far bigger then we were expecting and immaculate. The owner and property managers are really helpfull and made us feel so welcome and coulrnt help enough with anything we needed. The villa itself is a short walk into the town with plenty of options for dining etc, and if you don't feel like walking there are loads of Ubers around! We took a trip to Zoomarine which was great and also got the train in to Faro so lots of things to do to keep kids entertained. If you are staying I reccomend the boat over to Isle de Tavira, on a hot day that sea breeze is very welcome.

Family holiday

Can't recommend this villa enough. From booking with Roger to dealing with the amazing villa manager Angie the whole experience was superb. Villa is in a quiet area about 20 mins walk to local shops and restaurants which were all good. Beach via water taxi was great fun. Beautiful historic town. Highly recommended. Again want to thank Angie for her great hospitality nothing was too much trouble including early check in and the kindness of taking us to a supermarket to late check out. She even provided tape for a damaged suitcase! Highly recommend a stay here.

Family holiday

We loved this villa with it having so many different balconies and areas, there was space for each of the family. It was equipped with all you need for your stay, we mainly had breakfast in the villa and ate out as there are so many good restaurants to choose from in Tavira. The kids loved the pool. Great base, we had a day at the Aqua Water Park and a day at Fueseta Beach enjoying a meal at the BBQ and a day at Barril beach, week went in too quickly.

Fantastic House, lovely setting

We are a family of 5 (4 adults and boy of 10). The property is a great size and the pool is a real treat. Everyone enjoyed it, no issues at all. The owner was extremely helpful before we went on holiday, as was his representative in Tavira Angie who was "on call" and was fabulous in looking after all of us. A holiday we will all remember for a long time.

Perfect holiday home

Have stayed at this villa quite a lot over the last 6 years and we love it. Lots of space, very well equipped. Pool perfect for a cooling dip, lots of sun beds and only a 15 minute walk into town. Angie and Stu look after us really well and have become good friends over the years. Neighbours are also very friendly and helpful. Tavira is a beautiful fishing town with lots of good restaurants and only a short boat ride from a fantastic beach.. Lots of beautiful buildings and sights to see. We love it.

Great villa great town

Great property for multi generational family holiday. House had everything you needed and more. Swimming pool, barbecue, internet TV, we even had a spare fridge great for chilling the beer and wine. Relatively easy walk to town just over a km and 1.7Km to ferry, approx 20 mins. Taxi is approx 6euro to town. You cannot beat Tavira for beaches, via ferry or restaurants which offer quality and value, our favourites are Artifact and Brisa do Rio but there are so many good ones and we’ve been coming for 10 years

Perfect spot for fun family holiday in Eastern Algarve

Our experience in Roger's villa was summed up by our 9yo's reaction, 'this is perfect.' We were welcomed warmly on our late(ish) arrival and shown all the facilities, in the villa and locale. Lots of very useful information also presented in Roger's folders. Our immediate needs were there for us, and any additional needs arranged in advance. The villa was beautifully presented, the pool and children's toys super. Super, well appointed kitchen and BBQ area. Tavira centre is indeed an enjoyable 10min stroll away, only concern during whole visit was the busy road with no safe crossing point when leaving the quiet enclave. That said, Tavira is a beautiful town, lovely mix of history, good food and the excitement of taking the boat to the beach. We had a wonderful stay, fun and relaxing and well looked after by Roger and Angie. Thanks

Good service and communication, clean apartment with all facilities.

Good service and communication both with owner ahead of holiday and with the very helpful administrator on site throughout the stay. Clean apartment with all facilities. This is serious services :-) Only thing I wish was better comunicated was the way to city centre which literally wasn't straight forward but took 20 mins not 10. Having kids but no car we ended up taking taxi a lot of the time which we had not planned to. There was no food store easily accessible either, so you would need a taxi for that as well. Lovely country!

Fabulous

We have just returned home after a wonderful holiday! The villa is well appointed, clean and spacious. Furniture and fittings are of a high standard as was the cleanliness of the property. The gardens and pool area provided hours of amusement for the children, the inflatables an added bonus.The spaciousness of the property allowed everyone to enjoy some space. Angie was very welcoming and took time to explain the features of the property, thank you . We loved returning to Tavira and sharing the experience with our daughter, her partner and children. The bird life on the marshes was fantastic, seeing a flock of flamingo in flight was spectacular. We enjoyed a trip to the fish and general produce market in Olhao, excellent lamb chops.Also a good experience for the children to see real fruit and veg rather than the well manicured of English supermarkets! Ethan aged 7 summed it up, 'the bestest holiday ever'. I think the gelato shop in town was a big hit too!

Varando do Mar Villa 2008

The villa was exactly as described the location is just right so you don't have to rent a car to get around. The property was very clean and well maintained. Graham the pool man is very helpful and a credit to the owner. Also having good neighbours is very benefical. The customer care we received from Angie was fantastic its like having your own personal holiday rep and she is happy to help with any problems or information etc. I would definately recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit tavira for a relaxing villa holiday. I would recommend a trip on the little train that travels around Tavira. If you are missing home whilst away I would recommend Mad Hatters english bar there 10 Euro Mega breakfast is as english as you can get. We didn't really do much else just relax, swim and eat. All I can say is that the Villa is fantastic with great facilities and the Management Team of Angie & Stuart are two of the nicest, friendliest, helpful people you could ever wish to meet. We may be going back next year.

Not luxurious

This is a relatively new house in clean condition. Angie and her husband, while very nice, proved somewhat unhelpful when things were not working and with arranging the deposit and final payment. The house is advertised as luxury. It is acceptable, but far from luxurious. The mattresses are thin and seem cheap, the furnishings are stark and the kitchen is pitifully equipped. I was very pleased with the cleanliness, but had expected more of a high-end rental. In this listing, they promise a welcoming basket. Other than one bottle of wine, no such basket appeared. In fact, we were left with no soap, one half roll of toilet tissue, no paper towels -not even basic necessities. Important facts about the house are not revealed: It sits across a very busy highway from Tavira. It is not close to town, about a 20 minute walk minimum. The ferry to the beach does not run in April, but one must take a taxi to a different town to catch it. I was told a car was unnecessary. While we made it work, I would not advise renting this property without a car. A few upgrades with comfortable furniture, some rugs, a better equipped kitchen and nicer bedding would have made a big difference.

Great property

The villa was amazing. Far bigger than expected. Plenty of room for a family of 7 to enjoy their own space. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious along with the communal areas. Kitchen was big with lots of appliances. The walk into town was around 12-15 minutes with a very busy road to cross but all manageable. The people who caretake the villa were super helpful. They ordered cabs and shared lots of local knowledge. Thank you Angie and Stuart. Tavira is wonderful. This was our third visit and it did not disappoint.

Awesome villa

Great location, only 1.6 km walk from Tavira town centre. The villa contained absolutely everything we needed for a family of four, and the space was more than sufficient for our needs. Large bedrooms, spacious bathrooms and great open plan kitchen and living room. Pool was clean and lots of toys, inflatables in the garage to use. Overall 5/5 and we would definitely stay again. Angie and Stuart the managers catered amazingly to all our needs and Roger the owner was quick with any replies to queries.

villa holiday

Really lovely town of Tavira which is very quaint and safe and it also has a fabulous beach. The villa was spacious clean and well equipped and the pool was really very welcome in the hot weather. The host was great and very flexible with departure process. We had a late flight and Roger vey kindly let’s us stay till our taxi arrived. The whole holiday was very good and we had a mixed age group party and everyone found something to enjoy. I would highly recommend the villa and Tavira.

Excellent property for family vacation

We spent a great family time on this villa. The pool is great, the kitchen is very well equipped and so is the rest of the house! Too bad we always had to drive around when going to the beaches but we kinda knew this when we booked.

Living in England and a retired Airline pilot, I have travelled all over the world but always love coming back to Portugal. We spent a long time looking for our ideal property and we have never changed our mind about this Villa. We come here mainly in the Spring and Autumn, leaving the Peak Season free for our guests.

Just to avoid any confusion, the above is all about me but the Villa is managed on my behalf by Angie Graham, who lives close by and her number (with the +351 prefix) is the best one to use. And sometimes emails go astray so if you don't here back from us within 24 hrs, please try again.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

First of all, Tavira is such a wonderful location. It is a working town which means there is always something going on, Summer and Winter. It is not as busy or glitzy as Albufeira or Villamoura but there is still plenty to do, particularly if you like golf.

Being so far South, the skies are always clear and they say there are 300 days of sunshine every year. You are also fairly close to the Spanish border, and is not much more than an hours drive to the beautiful City of Seville.

It takes a bit of effort to get to the main beach on Ilha da Tavira, with ferries running from downtown (10 mins) or the main jetty at the other end of the salt flats (5 min) and for this reason, it is always relatively quiet. The sea is clear (if a bit on the cold side) and the beaches spotless, washed by the Atlantic currents.

One of the best bits is its proximity to the town, far enough away to miss all the noise but close enough to walk. It only takes only 10 mins to walk into town which means everyone can enjoy themselves and no-one has to drive.

As for the town, there are numerous restaurants and bars and tiny tucked-away cafes and shops. Not necessarily what the kids will want but great for the adults.

The Villa is now 10 years old but it doesn't look it. A striking modern design and particularly well equipped. We strive to keep it in tip-top condition and if anything goes wrong during your stay, we shall do our utmost to get it fixed without causing you any inconvenience.
