This Property is tastefully furnished with new sun loungers. It is situated in a residential area with a mix of traditional Spanish homes and fincas with small holdings, animals can be heard from chickens and ducks to dogs, parakeets and other wild bird songs, along with modern holiday apartments. It's Strolling distance to bars, plaza's, shops & restaurants to suit all tastes. 1 km from superb La Zenia shopping complex and casino.Supermarket 0.5 km. It is ideally situated for several golf course including Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campamor.
It has a gated communal Pool, for residents and guests only (x3) set in lovely gardens including a childrens pool , small garden to side and rear. Off road parking. Quiet roads. Security alarm. Fully equipped kitchen leading to lounge/diner, light & airy. Double glazed patio doors opening from the lounge onto the south facing breakfast balcony with seating area and . Exterior steps rising to the private roof solarium incorporating, BBQ area, chairs and large table, sun loungers, parasols and panoramic views, sun all day! Palms and potted plants make it complete. Leading from the main bedroom are patio doors, opening onto a Juliet style balcony offering views across the communal swimming pool & garden area. There are showers by the pool and ground sockets to place your parasols, the en-suite to the main bedroom has a toilet/shower, king sized bed, 2nd bedroom 2 single beds. Both rooms have plenty of storage.

Un lugar perfecto para desconectar

Ubicación zona a 3 minutos del centro boulevard la Zenia, playas a 10 minutos en coche, supermercados muy cerca. La casa está muy bien, tiene lo necesario para pasar unos días y desconectar, me encanta la tranquilidad de la zona, la piscina una gozada agua calentita, la zona del ático por la noche está genial, corre fresquito. En general todo bien, solo por poner alguna pega, el frigorífico no enfría bien y hace hielo, es antiguo y no aguanta bien la temperatura, hay un ventilador roto, y el que está en el salón tampoco es que tenga mucha potencia. Davina es maravillosa, nos explico todo muy bien.

Month in Spain

We arrived at the property and it was very unclean. We arrived after 30 hours of travel and ideally should have taken photos of all the issues and contacted the managers the next day, but we were fatigued and did not want the interruption to our stay so we dealt with it. The floors throughout had not been cleaned, there was food crumbs left in the pantry and the kitchen utensils and cook pans were unclean. The fans were very dirty as were the keys we were provided, covered in grime. The roll down blinds did not roll down without assistance and one handle was snapped off. The bedding in the cupboard smelled of stale urine. Upstairs in the solarium there is a single clothes hanging line that runs diagonally from one corner to the next, providing an ugly and dangerous division of this space. The peg basked disintegrated into plastic powder on the first use. The chairs upstairs are very aged and have loose wheels on them. The neighbourhood is lovely and the pool well kept however, this apartment has not been looked after or recent times and should not be advertised the way it is.

Tranquilidad y decepción por el precio pagado por la limpieza.

Pasamos unos días tranquilos con piscina y playa.Decepcionada al pagar 60e por la limpieza pues el solárium estaba sucio,sábanas con alguna mancha,frigorífico muy flojo con una leja de la puerta rota. Por último el precio del alquiler estaba en libras y tuve que abonar 60e a parte por la limpieza. Unas vacaciones tranquilas pero decepcionada 😞. La limpieza es imprescindible siempre en un alquiler y sobre todo en tiempos de pandemia .

Nice apartement

The apartment was great, especially the roof terrace and close to the pool. Communication with the owner and Davina who showed us the apartment was great. One thing I regret was that it was very hot weather when we were there so I wish I noticed before that there is no A/C in the apartment. Besides that fact, we still had a wonderful time and close to the apartment are some very nice restaurants. I recommend Mateos and Rolos. I´m certain you will have a pleasant stay here, we certainly did.

Localizacion y tranquilidad

La ubicación buena si buscas algo separado de galeo y bullicios, apartamento cuco pero con carencias ejemplo faltan cacerolas , en el solárium faltaría algo de sombra y la barbacoa tal y como esta no es útil Pero en general bien y la piscina excelente. Si volvería a repetir. Es zona muy tranquila pero a 10min tienes un gran centro comercial con bares y restaurantes .

Excelente relación calidad-precio

Está muy bien, todo como aparece en el anuncio. Es un apartamento, pero parece una casita, por la entrada independiente y la azotea. A la playa mejor en coche, andando unos 3 km. El apartamento tiene de todo. Muy buen recibimiento por parte de Davinia, con un obsequio para el desayuno. Merece la pena.

Very Restful

Ideally set for us as was close to my family living nearby. Very spacious accommodation, furnished in traditional Spanish style with lots of little homely decorations and plants. Everything you could need for a real "home from home" holiday rental. Communication with owners was excellent and they were very helpful. Close to all amenities but also very quiet and relaxing. We noticed previous comments regarding dogs but did not find them bothersome. They only made noise when their human went out/came home or it was time for food. Lots of native birds and we were lucky to see two Hoopoe's which are magnificent! In spite of the "Gota Fria" we had some very hot weather and the pool was a lovely way to cool down and chat with other residents and guests who were all very friendly. Overall it was a fab place and we will definitely be booking again. Thank you to Mr and Mrs Burton for a wonderful stay!

Very relaxing and homely - perfect for chilling out

Very smooth handover of keys and lovely welcome -San Javier airport just 25 mins away is nearest, and is very easy to get to compared to Alicante - roads In La Zenia are a bit mad and illogical but you get used to them Apartment is homely and feels like a home - I actually slept on the comfy sofa bed in the lounge with patio doors open - as we stayed during a hotter than average period Telly has digital TV channels so we didn't miss Emmerdale!! There's a Play Station 2 which Freddie used (there's a couple of games) - kitchen great with oven easy to use and washing machine Loved the rooftop sun terrace - and the pool is a short walk and is a quiet one There's a lot said about the dogs in guest book and reviews here but to be honest we didn't think they were a problem = they only barked loudly at 6:30 (presumably when being fed) and only served to remind me to start making supper!! We spent the holiday lazing about, reading, writing and swimming with one or two excursions (there's a lot to do here but we've been every year for several years) so was perfect for a chill out and rest from work We really missed having air conditioning though and struggled some days but it was hotter than usual - it would have 5 stars if there was air con = especially difficult for our 9 year old We'd recommend El Capitan Beach and La Zenia Beach (to the left of the big hotel) although there are several great beaches within 2 or 3 minutes drive We'd love to stay here again perhaps in the autumn or spring time - thanks for letting us stay Andy, Helen and Freddie (9 years)

Great Property, Great Location, Great Owners!

Visited this area to research potential for holiday home purchase. This apartment is located in an ideal part of the Los Dolses urbanization with good footpath access and only 10-15 mins walk to La Zenia Shopping Centre (which is fabulous). A further 10 to 15 mins walk takes you to the excellent El Capitan beach. In the opposite direction (walking) is Los Dolses Plaza (10 mins) and Villamartin Plaza (25 mins) with plenty of dining and entertainment options. The apartment has every comfort and facility needed to make it a home from home rather than just temporary holiday accommodation. The roof solarium and separate terrace are perfect for outdoor eating / relaxing. Contact with the owners was easy and advice was freely offered to help with our research.

belle résidence

bonjour nous avons passé 15 jours de vacances juillet 2017 la maison est trés bien entretenue propre et spacieuse le propriétaire est très gentille disponible et a l"écoute ainsi que le porteur des clefs LOU et son mari je vous remercie d'ailleurs pour notre arrivée très tardive de nous avoir fais quelques courses pour le déjeuner du matin. la résidence est très bien entretenue ainsi que les extérieurs et la piscine est propre et chaude. l'appartement est très bien située avec plusieurs plages aux alentours de sable fin. une belle zone commerciale la ZENIA BOULEVARD est superbe si vous aimé faire les boutiques il y a tous se qu'il faut. plusieurs supermarché a proximité le choix est large. seul point négatif les chiens qui aboye les travaux nous ont moins déranger que les chiens mise a part sa tout a etais parfais. je vous remercie vraiment beaucoup nous avons vraiment passé de très bonne vacance en famille.

Dogs Dogs Dogs

What should have and could have been a nice break in the sun was completely ruined by the relentless barking of the dogs kept in the Spanish property only yards from the back of the house. We could not sit on the balcony or use the sun terrace because of the noise, it was so disappointing. We had to try and find somewhere else to go and spend time. I'm trying not to harp on about the dogs, but the complaints about them go back 10 (yes ten) years. People need to be aware when booking. We were made aware of the noisy building work which is ongoing, again only a few yards to the rear of the property, and the owner very kindly gave us a small discount for that inconvenience, however no mention of the umpteen dogs chained up 24/7 in the property behind the apartment. ( I notice the listing has been updated since we booked to include the noise of some animals . . . understatement) Its such a shame as the property itself is a nice clean well kept apartment in a good location with a nice small pool area and very good neighbours. The owners seemed nice enough and the key-holder (Lou) was also a lovely lady. We just feel cheated out of our hard earned cash and break in the sun. I can understand the owner is stuck between a rock and a hard place here. Mention the dogs and no-one wants to book, but don't mention the dogs and let folk waste their hard earned cash. Super location and lovely pool

The apartment is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. There is a good size roof terrace, which we used everyday, mainly for eating dinner and watching the sun set. The apartments were fairly quiet and we made good use of the pool, which is literally at the bottom of the steps. My son loved using the pool everyday and into the evening as its open till 10pm. Great location and 45 mins from Alicante airport. Close to the beaches and La Zenia boulevard which is full of shops. The area is great if you have kids, as there is plenty to see and do.

Brilliant Stay

We had a brilliant weeks stay! THe appartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything we needed and more. We particularly enjoyed having the cool box and ice packs to use on the beach. The pool area was really pretty and the nearby beaches were sandy with lovely clear water. The Zenia Boulevard and Villamartin Plaza were both in walking distance and there are some great eating places nearby. We loved it so much we have now purchased an appartment in nearby Villamartin.

Very good stay With the sun

The hiring is of very good standing, beautiful swimmîng pool, clean and calms. Very few neighbors during our stay. The shopping center Zenia With 10mîn on foot was appreciated by everyone. Only flat, because of strong heats an air conditionîng would havé been appreciated. I recommend this hiring , very quality positive ratio/price

My review!

The apartment was as described in the description! BUT when we arrived we phoned the greeter to let us in, she was not aware we were coming (due to a misunderstanding) and we had to wait couple of hours to be let in. She was very sorry and explained she had not been told we were coming. Not an ideal start to our holiday! When we looked around, the apartment was 'spotless' and there was tea, coffee, milk and bread, thought that was very thoughtful as we had arrived late and were not going shopping until morning. The apartment had a lived in/homely feel unlike other villas/apartments I've used in the area and we settled in fairly quickly. It has everything you need, my only complaint is there is no satellite tv so we were watching dvds quite alot. Not a major problem but Would be nice to watch an English news channel in the morning while having breakfast! I enjoyed my stay at this apartment and will be using it again. My advice is phone the greeter the day before you go to make sure she knows you're coming. To summarise, a nice well equipped apartment with a homely feel!! Joe.

Summer holiday 2007

This apartment was everything it says it was. It was clean, well maintained and very well equipped. We were worried that it wasn't going to be ideal for our daughter and her friend (both 17 at the time) but they thoroughly enjoyed it. Having two bathrooms was an absolute godsend and they were able to sunbathe on their own on the lovely roof terrace. The pool area was very attractive and was never crowded - in fact sometimes we were the only ones using it. A short walk away was a plaza with a few bars and restaurants and a further 20 min walk away was Villamartin with more bars and restaurants. This was ideal for us as the girls could go off on their own whilst we could still keep an eye on them. We hired a car and this I would say is a necessity if you want to go to the lovely beach or further afield. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and I hope we will be going back soon.

Relaxing Stay in Spain

The property was well situated a few minutes walk from 2 plaza's, with several bars and restaurants, and a local supermarket, all with good English or some English staff or owners. It had a very very good local spanish restaurant within a few hundred yards at the back of the property. The beach, and another shopping centre are about a 2 minute drive away. The beach was very sandy,in a fairly secluded bay. The local taxi's were efficient and fairly cheap It was clean and well maintained, had 3 pools within the complex. The balcony is ideal for barbeques, or just having a read. A couple of golf courses are within easy reach

Professional lady, i have had my own business for 32 years, i am a hairdresser based in Portsmouth, i think of myself as a hairdresser for those ladies needing alternative hair!. I am 52 years young, married, likes travelling, good food & wine!

We love staying in our apartment, it gives us relaxation, but some good nights out at the local bars or a drink or two on our terrace looking at the stars of an evening.
We like shopping and visiting street markets, there is a market every day of the week here in a different local area. 1km away there is a new shopping complex with restaurants and a Casino.

The apartment is light and airy, clean and comfortable. I have a fear of creepy crawlies, so we keep it spotlessly clean to deter then!
We usually have the pool all to ourselves! We can walk to the local bars and restaurants, The fantastic new Zenia Boulevard shopping complex is an american style shopping and eating experience, within walking distance.
We do have a Television at the apartment, but we like this, as we take time to talk to one another over a glass of wine, on the balcony,, listening to our favourite c.d s or the local English radio stations. We usually have the pool to ourselves! if not there are two others to choose from.
