Dieses A-Frame-Haus verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Bar-Sitzgelegenheiten und einen Loungebereich mit großen offenen Fenstern. Zwei Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss verfügen über eine volle und eine Königin. Ein Vollbad befindet sich ebenfalls im Erdgeschoss. Auf der Wendeltreppe befindet sich ein Loft mit 2 großen Betten und einem Einzelbett für 5 weitere Gäste. Die Wendeltreppe hinunter befindet sich ein weiterer Wohnbereich mit Zugang zur Wäscherei und einem zweiten Vollbad. Es gibt ein großes Deck für Versammlungen und Hof zum Spielen. (Hof ist derzeit hässlich wegen septischer ersetzt.)

It was ok

Beautiful area. The home was dirty. All dishes needed to be scrubbed didnt really wanna use them. It smelt like sewage the whole time. The home is a bit old. Didn't expecty that from the listing.

Simple but what we needed

Easy check in and allowed for late check out. Loved the baby gates for the stairs. Good AC. Simple and basic but perfect for a weekend at the lake.

Perfect for family vacation

We really enjoyed the house. It made us really feel we were staying in a lake house. The kids enjoyed the loft upstairs because they could all hangout together. They also got their own space in the basement area and their own outside hang out area. Will keep this place in mind for the future.

Just as described

This house was clean, AC was cold, it had all the things we needed and was a step back in time for the adults and alot of what in the heck is that for the kids! It worked perfect for two boat captains/anglers and four anglers. If you want new and fancy this is not your place. If you don't mind a work in progress that is being updated a little at a time and is comfortable - stay here you won't be disappointed.

Great Getaway

The home has a well stocked kitchen with all of the supplies needed for cooking a great family meal or with friends. Very clean and just a short five minute drive to Orleans Trail Marina. Plenty of space to park a boat trailer twenty six feet or maybe a little larger. Definitely rent again!

Great place

Just a ten minute drive to Orleans Trail Marina. Well equipped kitchen and lots of room for the kids. Needs some updating, but the price reflects that. I’d definitely book it again!

There was a ton of ants all over they completely invaded our space and got all over our food and clothes and we had to get rid of most of our food because there were ants all over!!! Extremely upset

Lots of space and beds. Total 70s decor which was fun. Battled flys and ants in the kitchen.

Renting was easy. And clear instructions. The second bathroom is in the basement and is under construction but should be nice when it’s finished. Overall we had a good time.

Great family vaca

We had a large group of family for the extended weekend, and the house was perfect. They had a baby gates to protect the spiral staircases and we utilized them. That is such a nice touch! Thank you for that. We used the deck and grill a lot, we LOVED the deck! Everyone had a great time.

My stay

Had a wonderful time spent at the cabin. We were at the lake most of the time but it was really nice to come back & everyone hang out at the cabin. Overall it was a wonderful experience & hopefully we can do it again another time.

House with lots of personality

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The stairs are the best part! The bottom floor had a nice chill retro vibe and the loft was great for all the kids to hang out in. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Great for having coffee on the deck in the morning. It's not luxury but it's fun!

Labor Day at the lake

We had a great time. We have stayed in many a VRBO house and this was probably the best equipped one that we have stayed in. Everything you could possibly need or imagine needing. I was worried about our four-year-old Twins and the spiral staircase but after about two times they flew up and down it like they had. always been using it. We enjoyed the large deck as well and even it was well equipped. We heartily recommend this VRBO. Thanks bunches Chelsea

Family Vaca 2019

We had to clean everything when we arrived, but it was cozy and had a working ac for top and bottom area. The binder was very helpful and the neighbors are friendly. We had a large group with all our kids and everyone had enough room to be comfortable. We hope to be back for the next several years with our same group! Thanks for the use of your hideaway.

It was about what we expected from reading the reviews.

Pros; it is unique and it was available. We did use the Wi-Fi, it was helpful as cell reception is spotty with T-Mobile. We played the available board games and enjoyed the unique carpeting. Cons; the air conditioning was not good, it was 92 degrees during our stay and the AC was only able to keep the house around 78F. There are some repairs that I would consider as required, the deck and stairs have a few rotting boards that need replaced and there is one broken window in the door. There is no lake view or easy access. The roads in the neighborhood are poor. There was a friendly 3 legged cat, I'm not sure if that is a pro or a con. We named him Hoppy.

Fully stocked--small issues

The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed! Overall it was nice, there was a strange smell and a hole in the front door big enough to stick your hand thru and unlock it. I wouldn't bring kids under 5 as the staircase and opening for it are hazardous.

My husband purchased the house when he taught in Stockton, but has since moved, married, and began a family. We have kept the house as a place to visit with friends and family. We are both teachers, and want to invite others to use the house when we are not using it to enjoy in hopes we are able to keep the house in years to come.
