A great place for a girls weekend away

This house is clean, has a well-stocked kitchen, and is in a very nice residential neighborhood. We were less than 10 minutes from everything we needed… restaurants, groceries, pharmacy. It’s our second stay here and it’s our go-to place in northern IL. Tim is very easy to contact and work with.

Great girls weekend

This property was perfect for our girls weekend. The house was spotless, the kitchen was well stocked for our cooking, and the neighborhood is safe and close to shops and restaurants. We meet twice a year and have decided this is the perfect location for us, so we will be back!

Great location

Spacious home near the casino and numerous restaurants and stores. Owner provided nice little extras like shampoo and coffee and filters. House and neighborhood are older, so they’re showing wear and tear and a lot of settling concerns. House was generally clean but appears overdue for a deep cleaning. Hot water only lasted about 3-4 minutes so we really had to cut showers short and really stagger shower times so everyone could have a bit of warm water. Looks like there is a new hot water heater in the garage that may be in the works for getting installed. The fenced yard is nice for pups, but it is a chain link fence, so be prepared for interactions with the neighboring dogs. Price is very fair for the amenities provided.

Beautiful, very clean, and well equipped

This home was very comfortable and clean. The bed was the most comfortable of all the places we stayed. We did have some issues with the hot water but there was a new one waiting to be installed, so they were working on that issue. I would stay there again if we ever wanted to visit again.

Nice space for a short visit

We were in town visiting family and the check-in/check-out process was very easy which we appreciated. We enjoyed playing with the kids in the backyard. We also liked how centrally located the house was while being in a safe and quiet neighborhood.

Spacious and cozy

This 3 bedroom ranch had everything we needed to have a wonderful visit to see family in Rockford. The listing details were accurate and we truly enjoyed our stay. There spacious kitchen was perfect for hosting meals with our guests. The games in the basement made for good fun. We will stay here again on our next trip.

We love staying at this relaxing ranch

This 3 BR 2 BA ranch home on a quiet street in Rockford works well for us when we come to visit extended family. Whether it's just the two of us, or we're joined by our out-of-state son and daughter-in-law, this home offers comfort and quiet in between our high-energy visits with relatives. We especially enjoy the spacious kitchen and open living area. The fenced-in yard and quiet neighborhood make it great for our dog. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Comfortable 1960s ranch in east Rockford

Made our annual trek to Rockford to visit family for Christmas. While we could stay with dad for free, it would be very cramped on air mattresses and sharing 1 bathroom. The last 2 years, we have stayed at VRBOs. This one was in a great location for us and MUCH nicer than last year’s. Loved having a garage with an opener so I could avoid scraping windows. No complaints about beds as everyone got a queen-size bed. Dining room table accommodated our jigsaw puzzle frenzy. We even got some use out of the ping pong table in the basement. (And the washer/dryer) Host was very responsive and house had everything we needed - including dish soap and laundry detergent. So much nicer than staying in a hotel room with just a couple of beds and a desk. This we we each had some personal space, which made for a more enjoyable trip.

Very nice!

My friend & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean & well-maintained beds were comfortable. I really liked the double garage: we felt more secure with our vehicle locked up there, & it was very convenient with the remote garage door opener. The neighborhood was nice, too. We would definitely stay here again.

The interior was nicely done and we enjoyed the Foosball and ping pong in the basement. All the extras that are needed were provided. The outside could use a little yard work but overall it was a good experience.

Big comfortable house!

Overall we had a great stay and the owner was responsive and we even extended our stay another night! Neighborhood was nice and quiet and easy to find. Back yard was perfect for our large dogs and the inside of the house is a great layout for large groups.

Wonderful Property

The house was in a quiet neighborhood, very clean, and tastefully decorated. I was traveling with adults, but this would also be a great place to stay for a family with children, particularly teens. The layout was great. Tim is an excellent host. I would recommend this property without reservation.

Great Stay

This property was exactly what my friends and I were looking for. Check-in was easy. I had an issue (user error lol) opening the lockbox that held the keys and called Tim. He answered right away but one of the other guys had just opened it. That was the closest thing to an issue we had. The house was clean and well-kept and everything we used worked without issue. Checkout was simple as well. I had a couple of questions the night before and again Tim responded promptly. All-in-all it was a great stay made more enjoyable by Tim's quick responses to our questions.

I am a lifelong resident of Rockford and would be happy to share my thoughts on things to do and places to eat. I love traveling, fishing, camping and basically enjoying life experiences. I am a landlord in the Rockford area and have been for over 17 years.

This was one of my normal rentals until a disgruntled (being evicted) tenant decided to set it on fire. During the remodeling process, we were asked by someone if we would consider renting it on a short term basis for someone who was going to be in the area for a few weeks. That got us thinking and one thing led to another and here we are.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

This home was updated with the Open Concept that is so desired these days. We opened the Living Room, Kitchen and Dining Room all up into one great area and you can feel it the moment you walk in the door. Sunny, open and welcoming are the best ways to describe it.
The basement has an area for kids during bad weather and the backyard is fenced in so they can be outside in good weather (that is on those rare occasions when you are not running around and enjoying what the area has to offer).
