Die Shells - Superb Villa mit großem Pool

Eine wirklich prächtige neu renovierte freistehende Villa in der up-Markt Wohngebiet von Santa Maria Estate in Mellieha gesetzt, auf mehr als 1000m2 Land gesetzt. Dieses helle, luftige und hervorragend angelegte Hotel genießt eine fantastische Aussicht. Unterkunft befindet sich im Erdgeschoss eine Begrüßungshalle, offene Küche, Esszimmer und großes Wohnzimmer, 3 Doppelzimmer, 3 Bäder davon zwei ensuite.

Eine moderne Treppe führt in die erste Etage, wo man ein großes Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad finden kann, das auf eine große umliegende Terrasse mit Blick auf Land und entfernten Meerblick über Comino und Gozo (die beiden anderen Inseln von Malta) führt. Auf der Rückseite der Villa kann man einen großen Pool mit Sonnenliegen und Jacuzzi finden. Die Villa wird voll von Solar Energy betrieben und WIFI steht zur Verfügung.

Die Villa befindet sich in der Nähe von Supermärkten und Bushaltestelle Richtung Ghadira Bay (10min) und Paradise Bay (15min). Der Flughafen ist Malta International Airport, 20 km von der Villa entfernt.

A fantastic place to relax

Superb Villa in Malta with very nice hosts an outstanding in- and exterior. Highly recommended for vacation with family or friends. If comming back to Malta, surely would stay here again.

Gutes Objekt allerdings renovierungsbedürftig

Der Vermieter ist sehr nett, die Kommunikation ist tadellos, das Haus und die Lage sind auch sehr gut. Allerdings lässt die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig und es sind einige Ausbesserungsarbeiten/Renovierungsarbeiten notwendig.

Wunderschön- sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Ein sehr schönes Haus, ruhig gelegen, gepflegt und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Auch der Außenbereich war sehr schön mit den Liegen und dem großen Poll. Sehr zu empfehlen für Familien. Kevin und seine Frau haben uns sehr nützliche Tipps gegeben , was z. B. die Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Einkaufen betraf. Ein großartiger Urlaub . Sehr zu empfehlen!!!!!

Großzügig

Hallo, Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Woche auf Malta und waren sehr begeistert von der großzügigen Gestaltung des Hauses sowie vom Pool in dem richtiges schwimmen kein Problem ist. Toll ist auch das der Pool mit Meer Wasser gefüllt wurde also keine Chlor Augen. Die Lage ist sehr Central mit Blick auf das Meer. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen. Gruß aus Deutschland

Es war wunderschön

Das Haus erfüllte alle unsere Erwartungen. Groß, sauber, super Lage, 4 teils riesige Schlafzimmer, 4 Bäder mit Toilette, eine weitere Toilette und Dusche im Außenbereich, sehr große und schöne Terrasse, mit Pool, Liegen, Sonnenschirmen und eine Grillecke mit funktionierenden Gasgrill, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Und nicht zu vergessen der auch sehr große und elegante Koch-, Eß- und Wohnbereich.

Fabulous house. Amazing hosts

We stayed for 5 nights whilst visiting a music festival. The check in process was simple and made all the more enjoyable by meeting Kevin and his wife at the house on our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. The house is fantastic and the photos do not do it justice. The pool is large and spacious and the hot tub perfect for relaxing in the evening. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and they are very large! All in all it was a fabulous experience from start to finish.

Good times at the Shells

Had a lovely stay at the Villa with a group of 7 adults and a 2 year toddler. The property was a great setting for us to relax and unwind during our time in Malta. It's really spacious, with a large living room and kitchen area which was great for relaxing in during the heat of the day (especially with the toddler) if you didn't fancy relaxing by the pool. Which again is a great size, perfect for an early morning swim and also the steps on either side going into the pool were really useful for our 2 year old as it meant he could come into the pool and stand up. We spent a lot of time in the outside space either by the pool, enjoying a BBQ or spending time in the evening chatting and enjoying life around the large table. Plus there's an outdoor shower which a great novelty for us coming from the UK. All the bedrooms in the villa are a decent size (most are on the ground floor) and of course there is the huge master bedroom upstairs, which has an amazing view. The villa is a walkable distance to Mellieħa and a large supermarket, as we had a rental car it meant we could get around easily and not have to walk back with shopping. However I believe the Wellbee's supermarket offers a delivery service if needed. Our host Kevin was a top guy, he met us at check in and made sure we knew where everything was etc. It was a nice touch of him to message a few days into the stay to make sure we were settled in nicely. We'd be happy to come back again!

Super comfortable and great house

The house lives up to the pictures and more. It’s super comfortable with nice design, very nice rooms and private bathrooms. The yard and pool and privacy are great. Good location and very nice at tentative hosts. AC works perfectly. We enjoyed everything about the house very much.

Family holiday

Our second stay at Shells Villa as just as great this time. Host is friendly and communicated regularly to ensure everything was ok. Villa was spotless. Location excellent location for heading up and down the East coast. Walking distance to bars and restaurants in the main town and shirt drive to the beach. Thoughly recommended.

Perfect for a relaxing group holiday.

I booked the villa for a group of friends to use as a sort of base camp between activities. We enjoyed the villa so much we spent the whole Saturday there, enjoying the pool using the bbq. It was perfect. Thierry and Kevin were always on hand if we had any questions and the villa had everything we need.

Glorious Family Holiday

What a tremendous break we had staying here - it was a perfect family holiday villa in a great location to explore the island. The villa was equipped with everything that is needed for a holiday away from home, and its layout is ideal for both entertaining, yet also at the same time giving everyone enough space. The pool is terrific, with numerous loungers around it, allowing for the whole family to be poolside at anyone time! The hosts were superb from our arrival, to any queries we had throughout the trip, and making check out very easy indeed. A wonderful holiday had by all!

Great place to relax

It is a very spacious villa that offers everything you need. Great place to relax and a perfect base for Malta day trips. Thierry and Kevin were super hosts. They were always reachable (before and during our stay). The pictures are reflecting the reality, and the villa even felt bigger than we expected from the pictures. Further, there is a modern jacuzzi/whirlpool that you do not see on the pictures, which was a great addition to the pool. We loved it so much. Overall, great villa, superb hosts, and a perfect location. We enjoyed our stay so much, and highly recommend this place.

Fantastic villa

We had a great stay, Kevin and Angela were very attentive - specific breakfast cereal for the kids, jumped on an issue with the pool. The pictures of the villa really don’t do it justice, it is much nicer. Good location, not far from Mellieha but you do need a car. Bugibba is not somewhere to recommend but Valletta is and its a 30 minute drive. Hard to fault the villa and Kevin and Angela, it really feels like home.

What an amazing property. Everything was perfect. Kevin was there to meet us and show us around and had a welcome pack waiting for us, which was much appreciated after a long day of travel. The House: It’s even better than the photos and is in a quiet cul de sac. It has a great open plan living space downstairs with a sliding glass wall to the front. 3 good sized bedrooms downstairs and an amazing master suite upstairs. The TV also had sports channels. The Outside: So many areas to sit out. Including the very large upstairs veranda looking out on Gozo, perfect for morning breakfast in the shade and evening sun. The front garden has lovely bean bags under the trees for grabbing a coffee, finally the back pool area was fantastic. Sun all day around the pool, a large dining table, and BBQ area. To top it off there is a separate hot tub. Location: The house is in a quiet residential area but 2 good sized supermarkets very close by. Also lots of restaurants and beaches within a short drive. Overall; It was a perfect location for us. If you want a bit of luxury in the sun, this is the spot!
