Perfect

The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was never going to be 5 star luxury but it had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, good bathroom. The location was excellent. Up a steep hill but let’s face it you’re not going to visit this area if you don’t expect to do a bit of climbing!! Great view. Excellent host, answered any questions immediately. Definitely recommend. Had a fantastic stay!

Nice and cozy

Place was pretty authentic to advertisement and reviews. Modest size, reasonable location (noisy, more below), and pretty clean. As noted by others, the place does not have A/C. There is a small fan and the windows open, but then you have to deal with noisy folks passing by through the late evening and early wake-up with the church bells. Pick your poison on noise vs at least a bit of cool air. Overall I’d consider coming here again if on a return trip, but might prefer to visit during a cooler time of the year. The host provided detailed guidance on check-in, nothing on check out, so hoping it all works out.

Nice Apartment

We enjoyed the location as it was a short walk to the train station and the downtown area which was superb. The apartment itself was very nice with a view of the surrounding area and sunset. We did hit high temperatures where air would have been better, but with the fan and opening the windows it was acceptable for us. We would definitely go back to this apartment if we find ourselves in the area.

Horrible accommodation - do not recommend

When my boyfriend and I first booked the room, we were certain it had air, which it did not. The washer/dryer listed was then told it could be used for a charge at check in, not included with the listing. No air conditioning left the room feeling damp. Random water spots stayed on the floor near the bed so you’d keep accidentally stepping in them. Also the worst part is the state of the room - what appeared to be moldy spots in the shower tile, spots on the walls, that were not shown on the pristinely white tiles shown in the picture. Clearly a misrepresentation of the property. We left early before our stay with over to avoid any issues while there. We urge you to find somewhere else to stay.

Beautiful view from the apartment. Apartment was well presented and suited our needs. I was travelling with my two adult daughters, it was fine but a little cramped. Would defined stay there again went travelling just with my husband.

Fabulous View of Manarola

My daughter and I had a wonderful time in Manarola. The property is as described. The apartment was clean, check in was very easy, and communication with Paolo and Marky was always very prompt. The apartment is up the hill, and it is quite a climb, but worth the view. I would definitely stay here again.

A cute stay with an amazing ocean view

Overall a good stay, however the kitchen isn’t well equipped. Had pots and pans but not enough silverware or glassware, and we would appreciate another coffee maker. Worth the hike up to the apartment for the view! We also had some trouble with the fridge and wifi but the host compensated.

L'appartamentino è pulito e fresco. Ci sono due finestre che lo rendono luminoso; una delle due lascia una splendida vista sul mare. Il vicolo in cui è il portone d'ingresso è una specie di centro di ritrovo sia per le persone del luogo sia per i turisti: c'è un bel sedile di pietra sul quale si siedono a parlare perché nei pomeriggi afosi di agosto c'è ombra ed un meraviglioso venticello lo percorre in tutta la sua lunghezza. Abbiamo scoperto piccoli tesori nei dintorni: luoghi panoramici, risorantini deliziosi (uno dei quali proprio a cinquanta metri), vini gradevoli e i sensazionali rossi amaranto dei tramonti.

Manarole is the town to stay in!

Great apartment. It is better than it looks in the pictures. The bed was comfortable! If you are going to Cinque Terre you should stay in Manarole. It is quiet with less tourists but still has shops and restaurants. You must eat at the restaurant next to the church.

a few days in Cinque Terre

The property was a hard walk to get to but well worth it for the view. Manarola is a beautiful town and we really enjoyed our stay there. Excellent food can be had at Trattoria dal Billy, Il Porticciolo (we dined there twice), Nessun Dorma (cocktails, appetizers and a gorgeous view), CappunMagru (for breakfast and aperitifs). Absolutely AVOID eating at La Scogliara -the food,including even the pasta was tasteless. Manrola is a great place for hiking, eating, views, and accessing the other cities of Cinque Terre

Lovely town

The view shown on the website is not quite accurate as the shutter doesn’t stay open. However if you push it it is lovely. A small coffee pot would of been appreciated instead of only espresso makers, as well as s closet to hang up clothes to get wrinkles out. Pablo was very helpful with our questions. It is a steep walk up to the place so stretch out those calves. Manarola is lovely! Thank you

Return to Manarola

Absolutely lovely with everything needed to enjoy the beautiful Cinque Terre. Highly suggest a stay of at least 4 or more days to take your time to see all the trails, towns and to relax. The owner, Paolo, is wonderful.

Wonderful stay in Cinque Terre!

We had a great time in Manarolo! Check in was super easy with great instructions. The studio was in a nice quiet area above the town center. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Easy communication with the property owner via What's App.

Cinque Terre retreat

This studio apartment is a great place to end the day after hiking or swimming in the ocean. It's location is ideal for access to the town and a great view. Would recommend!

Beautiful Quiet Manarola apartment

Manarola is the best of the Cinque Terre villages! There are enough restaurants, shops and stunning views in this quiet village. If you are looking for nightlife so to Monterrosa! The apartment is suitable for 2 adults with a small kitchen and shower in the bathroom. The view is very nice of the ocean and Billy's restaurant is a very short walk- wonderful trattoria- we had dinner there twice. The apartment was very clean and we were able to watch TV or Netflix in English after long days of hiking. The train system to and from the other villages is very user friendly and convenient. The trains run often or you can go on the boat to the other villages, weather permitting. We would stay here again! It's a magical place!

Cinque Terre is a must for everyone to visit

We had perfect weather in CT and enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment we stayed in was a perfect location for travelling to all places. It was clean and nicely decorated. We did feel that it wasn't all that well equipped. There was no toaster and only a small Italian coffee maker. I think I thought there was a balcony but must have misunderstood. There was a good view out from the window. . Overall, we had a great time.

Great location, very comfortable. . . but what really made the stay perfect was the hospitality.

Paolo and Francesca were so warm and welcoming. Manarola was picturesque and my favorite of the five villages of Cinque Terre, and the accommodations were convenient, comfortable and spotlessly clean, but getting to know the charming hosts at a more personal level is what made the stay most memorable. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay!

We enjoyed the apartment, the view and the location. Paolo and Francesca were very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home, thank you very much. No need to say anything about Cinqueterre, find out for yourself and you will see that words or pictures do not do it justice.
