Dieses wunderschöne Strandhaus befindet sich in Little Lagoon, gegenüber dem Golf von Mexiko in der Region West Beach in Gulf Shores, AL. Es gibt einen atemberaubenden Blick von allen Fenstern und Decks. Zugang zur Lagune direkt vor der Hintertür mit Bootsrampe und zwei Docks. Zugang zum Strand des Golfs von Mexiko zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Innenstadt von Gulf Shores ist weniger als 6 km entfernt und mit dem Auto, Fahrrad oder zu Fuß erreichbar. Little Lagoon stay

The house was in a perfect location and cute but needs some improvements. The ice maker didn’t work which is quite inconvenient for a beach stay. The beds were a little comfortable but we loved the open floor plan and the master suite in the main floor. They had extra beach chairs and a wagon which is great to have. The house has a nice backyard for games by the water but there is no direct access to the water. The community does have a pier and its boat ramp which is great to have right next to the house. The upstairs area was hard to keep cool so maybe a window AC unit would help but the kids loved being upstairs. There was only tv in the master and not in the other bedrooms which was also not ideal but we made it work. The kitchen was stocked with most things we needed and the laundry room was huge and a great place to store all of our beach stuff. The living room furniture was comfortable and plenty of space. Overall, a great vacation for us and we really enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again.

Great location but

The house itself is great but the smoke smell is absolutely awful. It was overpowering when you walk in. The location and the house were great though. The view of the lagoon is wonderful. If they could get rid of the smoke smell we would absolutely stay here again and again!

House

Stay was good. Needs a few repairs done to make sure the shutters stay attached and also look into adding another a/c unit for the upstairs. It is 7 to 8 degrees warmer up there than on the lower level

Beach therapy

The property was amazing! We will definitely try to stay there in the future. It is has fantastic view of the lagoon and is in easy walking distance of the beach. We all enjoyed some badly needed beach therapy.

Mama’s House

Although this house is not beach front it is just a short walk across from the beach. The house had plenty of room for our family vacation without everyone feeling crammed. It had everything we needed in the house also beach chairs/umbrella and boogie boards for the kids which was nice. The lagoon out back gives a nice view to watch the sunrise/sunset. We would definitely stay at Mamas house again!

Family friendly

House was exactly as described. We had a family of 5 here and had plenty of room and plenty of parking space. The views on the Lagoon were beautiful. The only thing to consider is the steps. My elderly parents went and had some difficulty with all the steps. A lift would be beneficial. Other than that, the house us perfect.

Spectacular Vacation

"Momma's House" is gorgeous, spacious, well-maintained, and has a great deck with frontage right on Little Lagoon. That deck is the perfect place for morning coffee and after-dinner relaxing. We always stay in that immediate area, but this was the first time with a large group. I was worried about space, that we might be climbing all over each other. Momma's house has more than enough room for many more people.

Great location, plenty of room, great owner

The owner was terrific to work with and we had a wonderful stay at the property. We stayed a full week and the lagoon the property sits on was a beautiful backdrop to our stay. It was a brief walk to the beaches and a short drive to the heart of the strip, food, groceries, etc. The house was clean and spacious. All the amenities worked and easily accessible. The owner was responsive to texts and overall we loved our stay. Gulf Shores is a great vacation location and when we return we’ll be looking to stay here again.

Perfect place to stay

Felt like home. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable. Rooms are large and spacious. A/C kept house cool and comfortable. Made friends with the neighbors on both sides immediately and felt very welcomed. The house is so quiet and comfortable, we didn’t want to leave. Definitely want to book again and plan a longer stay. The owners couldn’t be nicer and made sure we were happy and satisfied with our stay. Very pleased with our choice to stay here.

Stayed the month of October 2019. The house and location was absolutely perfect For our vacation.

Very clean well maintained home. We would stay there again year after year on our annual vacation if the house had an elevator? The stairs became a huge issue for my husband towards the end of the trip.

Great Location! Beautiful View!

The property is in a greater location. The Little Lagoon is right out the back door. The beach is in walking distance and across the street. We rented a kayak and went kayaking in the Little Lagoon. The Lagoon has a small pier for fishing that we also had a great time doing. The house could use some updating but overall it’s was a great find!!! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, sights are lovely. The property is far enough from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Blv but not so far that it takes long to get to all the shops. I highly recommend the property and can’t wait to visit again!

JUst what I was looking for!

Previous reviews referencing smells of cigarette smoke now seem to be addressed. No smell whatsoever. The property is just what I was looking for. Very close to the beach, even closer to the lagoon. Unfortunately, the days we were there, there was quite a bit of rain. While that was a bit limiting; the fact that I had access to a covered dock made for a very usable area to hang out and fish while the weather was not as desirable as I had hoped. Place was clean, fairly well equipped, and close to everything that I needed to be close to.
