Excellent unit!

Tom is an excellent host and did everything he could to make sure our stay was top notch. Everything in the unit was in great shape and location is perfect. I always felt safe and cared for!

In the heart of everything Key West

This cozy room had everything you need when you want to experience historic Duval Street. Its location gave us an easy walk to either side of the island. Located right on Duval street it had direct access to all the nightlife. Plenty of lots close by to park, especially the one located behind the building.

Excellent stay right on Duval in prime location

Tom was a wonderful host! He made check in and out extremely easy and was very communicative and quick to respond. The location could not be better, right on Duval and we walked everywhere all weekend. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends again. As other reviews mentioned, the property can be loud at night since it’s near a very popular drag show, lots of bars, etc. but that’s what you should expect for staying on Duval! We were there for Fantasy Fest so it was no bother to us. Also the light comes in during the morning time so if you’re a light sleeper I recommend a sleep eye mask, I brought mine thanks to prior reviews and it was just fine. If you are looking for a prime spot to experience the best Key West has to offer, I can’t recommend Tom’s property enough!

Just the Fun Facts

The description was perfectly described and accurate. Location off Duval was great and a short walk to most bars, restaurants, and events. All needed amenities needed were included. Host had superb communication and accommodation for late check in. Hope to return again and stay with same host!

Quaint studio looking down on Duval St.

Convenience is the key here! Right in the middle of Duval St. next to many gay and other bars and restaurants. It gets a bit loud outside at times but if you're a good sleeper, as we are, it shouldn't be a concern. The comfortable king bed made up for it. We chatted with Tom (host) a couple of times and found him very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic place to stay on Duval

The suite was perfect, and Tom is a great host. We had a fantastic time in Key West and staying at one of Tom's suites was the icing on the cake. It's close to everything and there is paid parking across the street and also behind the building. We parked across the street and it was $100/day. We could see our car from the balcony and it was safe and secure the whole time. One thing of note for those that are light sleepers - The bar across the street shuts down there music at 4:00 am, the roosters start crowing at 5:30am followed by the street clean up crews shortly after so there's only about 90 minutes of quiet time each night. Not sure if it's always that was but it was the case over our New Years stay. This is in no way Tom's fault, but I thought I'd mention it if you have trouble sleeping. Tom has two other (larger) suites in this building, so check with him if you are looking for something a little larger than this studio-style. He's very easy to work with and will give you tons of great info for your stay. I almost hate putting up a good review, because we only want to stay here when we come to Key West and it'll suck if this place isn't available!

Perfect Location!!

It was better than we ever expected!! Walking distance to everything. We loved the balcony for people watching. Spotlessly clean and attention to every detail. We were so happy we chose this rental! We can't say enough great things about Tom, the property manager, he goes above and beyond for his guests. We will difinitely be coming back!

Great location!

This is a great place for a couple looking to walk Duval street and the surrounding area. Booking with Tom was easy, he was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The apartment itself is perfectly located at the center of it all > 15 minutes one direction and you are at the top of the street near the pier and marina > 15 minutes the other direction and you are at the Southernmost Point. This room is filled with essentials, including some of the most important items: hair dryer, coffee, AC, freezer to make ice, and a party balcony! Tip 1: pack ear plugs and a sleep mask (the drag bar across the street stays open until 4am, then the street cleaning starts at 6am). The noise didn't bother us though, we considered it part of the experience! Tip 2: Parking is KW is not easy, leave the car in a parking space (or don't get one at all) and walk, rent a bike or moped or golf cart or cab to get you from place to place. Tip 3: Go to the Southernmost Point in the evening to avoid long lines.

Great location, but bright

Great location on Duval Street. Not in the, what I call, "college section" so not that loud. Walking distance to everything in Key West. Definitely recommend paying the extra money to park at the Blue Macaw. Great accommodations including full fridge. I enjoyed the spearmint body wash :) Only suggestion would be some blackout curtains over the bed because the lights from the Fury stand downstairs shine pretty brightly at night into the room.

Excellent!

Our stay was amazing! The room was very clean, had everything you would need, and the perfect size. The location was perfect. Tom met us on arrival, showed us the room and gave us a quick run down of how everything worked and directions to popular spots. Very friendly!

Location is hard to beat!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at this location and couldn't have been happier. The condo is perfect for walking anywhere downtown. The noise level from the club across the street wasn't a bother and the nightly entertainment was great. We brought earplugs just in case, but after the first night decided we didn't really need them. The real nuisance was the rooster at six in the morning, but not much can be done about that. We would definitely consider staying here again. Tom was great to deal with and was prompt to respond.

Excellent suite right on Duval!!

On short notice I booked the suite which ended up right on Duval St. It was just at the edge of all the Duval noise so it was perfect. A balcony overlooked Duval. The suite was clean and well-maintained. The owner was extremely friendly and very helpful. I will book this again in the future.

WOW! Perfect place for a little get away!

Tom, the property owner, was extremely welcoming and nice. When we arrived, he met us outside the building and took us up to the room. It was so nice to step into an air-conditioned room after being outside in the heat. The place looked exactly like the pictures and the location was perfect for my friend and I. Everything we needed was in the room--a perfect size for 2 people. There was a hairdryer, soap in the shower, and a kitchen with everything we needed to make a meal. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean and simple. Lots of natural light. The perfect location, too! After giving us a lowdown of the room, Tom told us a list of places we should check out and not miss. Staying right across the 801 Drag Bar made for some pretty awesome people watching over the balcony! Since we stayed there during the week, the nights weren't as crazy as as I'm sure they could be on the weekends. As young women in our 20s, my friend and I felt very safe in the location. We were concerned about parking as we flew into Miami and rented a car. Tom said we could reserve a spot with him for $25 a night or find a street parking spot. We ended up getting lucky and found a spot a few blocks away from Duval St. and we didn't have to pay! This was our first visit to Key West and this room made our stay so enjoyable. If you really want the full Key West experience, stay with Tom. We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great location!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a great trip to key west. The condo has everything you need and the perfect balcony to people watch. The only downside is that is it is across from a drag bar that does shows late a night, which are great to watch but a bit loud if you are trying to sleep. Bring some earplugs and you'll be fine!

Rental was exactly as described- in the heart of it all!

Both Tom and the property were great. He was very accommodating on our arrival time/ situation. The rental was very clean and exactly as described. If you're staying here, you do not need a car- there's not a lot of parking on key west so it worked out perfectly that we didn't have one. There were also a hair dryer, small stove, full sized refrigerator, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, and a coffee maker for our use. All of old town is walkable from here and there is a bike rental directly across the street. The one downside is that the bar across the street gets loud at night- you can hear the karaoke. With the air conditioner on the noise was pretty much drowned out. A very light sleeper would probably not do well. If we came back as a couple we would 100% stay here again!

Perfect location

We loved staying in this apartment in the heart of Duvall street. The restaurants we came to love such as La Creperie and Blue Heaven are nearby, not to mention all the bars that are on the same street. The apartment itself was the right size for a couple. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels that were provided were clean. I was not able to meet Tom but he made our check-in process very easy. Thank you for letting us stay in your apartment. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Key West.

Perfect Key West Getaway!

My wife and I stayed in the Street Suite for 3 nights 2/28-3/2. I was unsure because there were no reviews about the property at the time. I took a chance after contacting the owner and he gave me some further information. I'm so happy I did. I will break it down the best I can. Owner: Tom was extremely easy to deal with. He made us feel very welcome and couldn't have been any more hospitable. He gave me very good recommendations and was always available if I needed anything. Overall a really nice guy. Room: Perfect for two. I loved the refurbished wood walls. The room was recently redone and it looks great.There is a small but very functional kitchen with everything you may need to prep and cook meals (we didn't cook but nice to know we had the option) and a full size refrigerator and freezer to keep your drinks and ice cold (we did use that). There is a small dining area perfect for two. There is also a nice seating area with a comfortable love seat and 2 chairs. The king size bed was very comfortable. There is a large closet with plenty of space for clothes and luggage with room to spare. The bathroom is done very nicely with a stand up shower and plenty of towels. There is also tons of light, big beautiful windows throughout the space. We also had access to a porch right on Duval St. which I took full advantage of. Great people watching there. Location: Perfect! Right in the middle of Duval Street. It is easy to walk or bike anywhere. If quiet is what you want then this might not be the place for you, but I must say that we are early risers and go to sleep around 11pm and never had a problem sleeping. I would turn the AC on high and sleep like a baby. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot, clean, comfortable

It's a great location , easy access to all places- walking distance- owner is very professional. It is a bit noisy on the main strip, but we'll all catch up on our sleep when we're dead! Fun time.
