Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad und ein Hauptbadezimmer. Eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Rangemaster Herd. Großer Eichentisch und Stühle für 10 Personen im Esszimmer. 2 weitere Garderoben im Erdgeschoss - 1 mit Dusche. Es gibt einen Whirlpool für 6 Personen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Kuhstall ein altes Gebäude ist und daher recht eigenwillig mit Abblendlicht und schmalen Treppen ist, sodass er möglicherweise nicht für Behinderte geeignet ist.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass wir bei Familien- und Freundeskreisen, Wanderern, Radfahrern usw. sehr beliebt sind. Wir akzeptieren Junggesellenabschiede, aber leider nicht Junggesellenabschiede oder alle männlichen Gruppen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass The Cowshed mit Ausnahme von Weihnachten und Neujahr nur für Wochenendaufenthalte zur Verfügung steht, da dies der Eigentümer und die Familienresidenz ist. Uni Reunion

Stayed at the Cowshed as a mixed group of 10. Lovely property with great facilities. It was a tad windy for our stay but we still made use of the hot tub and there was plenty of space and entertainment indoors too. Plenty of parking and everything we needed to cook for the weekend too.

Ideal for a weekend in the peaks

Had a great time staying in this property over the weekend. Ideal place for a group of friends or family to meet up, big kitchen, lots of space and great views from the hot tub. Only slight issue was finding the place but it was easy to get in contact with Steve to arrange everything. Would recommend to anyone

Perfect stay

Excellent stay at the cowshed, we couldn’t have felt more welcome! 5 star accommodation and hosts.

Great weekend away for 7 girls who needed a good catch-up and relaxing time. The cowshed is perfect; hot tub, excellent views, comfy beds, WiFi and plenty of towels. And the Host was on hand to deal with any issues and make this a pleasurable stay. Fantastic house and location!

Loveliest cottage

This cottage is the pefect getaway. Its literally in the middle of farms and so peaceful. The cottage itself is spacious and caters for everything. The hottub was cleaned before our stay and was the perfect spot for lovely sunsets. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage

This cottage had everything we needed for a successful girls weekend . We walked to Castleton and got a highly entertaining ‘party’ bus to eat in Buxton on Saturday night. Steve answered all our queries promptly in advance and was flexible with check in and check out times. The glorious weather and the hot tub were a bonus !

Family celebration weekend

Property was in beautiful location although we had rain all weekend so couldn't appreciate fully but the hot tub was enjoyed by all. The only irritation for us was the really creaky upper floors and some sticking doors.

Great accommodation in a fantastic location

This is a well equipped, comfortable and immaculate property that provided an excellent venue for a family get together - the hot tub was very popular with our group! The views were amazing with some lovely walks from the property. It was great to be welcomed by the owner, Steve, for whom nothing was too much trouble.

A lovely quiet place with amazing views and walks

The Cow Shed is a lovely property, well laid out with good facilities (although no wifi which might matter for some). The outdoor space, hot tub and views are stunning.

Amazing weekend at The Cowshed!

Stayed at The Cowshed for my hen party weekend and had a fab time! Emma was really helpful on the lead up to our stay answering the many questions we had! The location is perfect- close by to some lovely villages (we visited nearby Chapel en le Frith and Castleton) but in a rural spot with amazing views across the countryside. The house was well equipped with everything we needed over the weekend with lots of communal areas for everyone to gather. Everyone loved the hot tub and the outdoor space is excellent. The Cowshed and plenty of fizz made it the perfect hen weekend- would definitely recommend this amazing house and will hopefully be back in the future! :)

Excellent !

Surprise 70th Birthday celebrations made even better by the setting and the standard of the Cow Shed :-) The property had plenty of space for us and everything we could need for a family weekend .The views from the property are amazing with walks straight from the front door - the Hot tub was a lovely treat !

Excellent venue for a girlie getaway!

Stayed at The Cowshed for a hen party over the weekend - location was a lovely rural place with amazing views over the peak district. House was quirky but excellent - had everything we needed with plenty of room for us all although due to the beautiful weather we spent most of the time in the gorgeous garden. There was plenty of space for outdoor dining, sunbathing & relaxing in the hot-tub with just overlooking us! The owners couldn't do enough for us and made us feel very welcome & relaxed. I would definitely recommend this venue :-)

Excellent Property

Fantastic weekend from the start. Warm welcome from Steve, excellent location, excellent kitchen equipment, comfy beds and plenty of towels, BBQ and fuel provided, great hot tub and outside patio seating area. We would certainly return to The Cowshed, a brilliant time was had by us all.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic rural setting.

Fiftieth birthday get together for eight girls. Enjoyed every second we were there at this most beautiful well presented cottage. Communication between Emma, the owner and I was second to none and so easy. Steve was brilliant in making us feel very welcome and made sure we were all settling in nicely. Would recommend this fantastic place to family and friends alike as it would be suitable for anyone requiring the peace and tranquility of this wonderful rural location.

Great place for a weekend away

I booked here for a hen weekend and the place was amazing. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and there was plenty of room in the property. I really liked the long dining room table as it seated us all perfectly. Having a dishwasher was also convenient especially with a lot of us eating every day. The rooms were lovely and plenty big enough, with clean bedding and towels. Know one needed to queue for the showers or toilets as there was 3 showers and 4 toilets. Even though it rained most of the weekend we still managed to use the hot tub; which everyone loved! The living room was big than expected and easily seated everyone. The property is surround by lovely scenery and only a 20 minute drive in to Buxton. It was an ideal location because we were well away from a busy town and instead in the quiet countryside. Emma was really great at replying to any queries I had leading up to our stay and I would highly recommend the property and would definitely return.

Perfect Peak Experience

A wonderful experience starting with a warm reception from Steve on arrival. The Cowshed has a homely atmsophere and definitely has all the comforts of home and more. We cooked a turkey dinner for 10 of us for our son's 40th birthday with utensils and crockery in abundance: the dining room was the perfect setting for the meal and celebrations. The third evening the guys managed the BBQ while the women relaxed in the hot tub - fabulous!! Bedrooms were pristine with comfy beds, crisp fresh linen and roomy wardrobes. Upstairs we had a large family bathroom between 4 of us with two other shower rooms if necessary. It was really useful for my older son, daughter in law and their young family to be all downstairs in the huge ensuite bedroom and the twin bedded room next door. The Cowshed is a quirky, well maintained building we all enjoyed, particularly the children who like exploring AND there was the lounge! So comfy: french doors lead onto the patio with the hot tub, fabulous views and amazing sunsets. We will certainly go back there.

Friends Reunion

Party of 10 adults meeting up with friends who had emigrated to Australia. The house is set in a beautiful countryside location with stunning views across the Peak District. The outside facilities (large patio, lawns, seating, bbq and hot tub) were fantastic. The house has 5 good bedrooms, especially the spacious en-suite. The kitchen is well equipped and was the focal point for our group all weekend. There is sufficient space in the rest of the house (large dining room and cosy TV lounge) to find your own space if needed. The booking process, meet & greet and refund of the security deposit all went well with no hassle. The owner showed us around the property next door (Cop Farm) which is an amazing place. I'm sure we'll definitely be back to stay again either at The Cowshed or Cop Farm.

The Cowshed at Cop Farm

Stayed for the weekend with a group of friends for a 50th birthday celebration. Beautiful and well equipt property in an idyllic part of the Peak Forest with some lovely walks.. The house is very well maintained, the hot tub was just a fabulous way to relax. The owner was very helpful and communicates promptly, thank you so much. We would definately recommend this for a group celebration or families/friends holidaying together.
