Die Villa Caldeira ist eine wunderschöne Villa mit 4 Schlafzimmern und fast einzigartig in der Tatsache, dass sie im Gegensatz zu den meisten Villen in Lagos nur einen kurzen Fußweg vom preisgekrönten Jachthafen von Lagos, dem atemberaubenden Strand von Meia Praia und der historischen Altstadt entfernt ist. Diese kürzlich renovierte Ferienvilla befindet sich auf einer Ebene in einem weitläufigen angelegten Garten mit einem eigenen großen privaten Swimmingpool und ist ideal für größere Familien oder Freunde, da die Unterkunft mit Schlafzimmern an jedem Ende der Villa aufgeteilt ist und somit Privatsphäre und Wohnraum für Familien bietet die Mitte. Die sehr große Lounge verfügt über ein sehr geselliges Ecksofa, einen 52-Zoll-Sat-TV mit über 85 britischen Kanälen, einen DVD-Player und kostenloses Internet. Die Villa könnte nicht besser gelegen sein, um das Beste aus Ihrem Aufenthalt in Lagos zu machen. Alles ist innerhalb von 5 Minuten bequem zu Fuß erreichbar - der 6 km lange schöne Strand Meia Praia, der schöne Yachthafen und die historische und lebendige Altstadt von Lagos mit ihren vielen Geschäften, Restaurants und dem Nachtleben. Die Villa Caldeira befindet sich in einer sehr ruhigen Sackgasse und ist somit der ideale Rückzugsort nach einem langen Tag am Strand.

Overall nice property- great landscaping and pool. Plenty of room for large group. First time in Lagos so did not expect it to be so built up. But property within walking distance to beach and marina. A bit longer walk to old town.

Wonderful home stay

Good location and well kept. However, none of the Bathroom had bath soaps; adequate toilet paper also not provided. One has to buy one's own Garbage bags. The Deposit hasn't been refunded yet.

Wonderful stay

The villa was perfect for our needs, including the layout of the house (it was a family reunion), its location in close proximity to everything, additional free parking, a short walk to the beach, etc. We found the property management very responsive and helpful. Tracey and Adrian helped with the airport transfers for our parents and Paula even delivered extra cereal bowl to the house, when we asked for them. In addition, the cleaning folks came and changed the bedding and towels and did some light cleaning half-way through our stay. Unexpected and we were pleasantly surprised. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to stay there again next time. Thank you, Algarve Retreats!

Eventual holiday

Following two deferred holidays owing to Covid-19 we decided on Portugal and were so fortunate that this villa was available. Exactly as described and suited our 3-generation needs owing to the cleverly designed layout with bedrooms at both ends of the villa with a central (very large) living and dining area. The pool is very secluded. Easy walks to the beach, marina, and old town. 8, 10 and 20 minutes respectively. Ideally situated for day trips to beaches and places of interest. Highly recommended. Also Algarve Retreats are extremely helpful.

Great Villa / Comfy Beds / Plenty of space / Good Location

Initial view was that the Villa lived up to the photos. It was early season and following a bad weeks weather in Lagos. Living Space in and outside plenty for 8 people. All beds were very comfortable with air conditioning throughout if needed. The house was initially cold but warmed up as windows opened. There is space around the villa to follow the sun if you need it. It is a 20 minute stroll into the centre of Lagos and less than 5 minutes to the fantastic Meia Praie Beach. Supermarket 10 minutes walk which has everything you will need. There are no hills to climb so really easy walking.

Great Family Villa with Pool

Very spacious, comfortable villa in a good location. Fifteen minutes walking distance from Lagos Marina and another ten minutes to the old town. Its about twenty minutes walk to the Pingo supermarket. Meia beach is in walking distance but the preferred beaches such as Batata and Dona Ana are a taxi ride away which takes about 7-10 mins. Getting uBers is ok from the beaches and supermarket back to the villa but getting them from the villa is not so easy as its just off the beat and track. We often opted to walk into town and just get in a cab at the rank. So if you don't want to walk or wait for uBers hire a car which was ridiculously expensive in summer 2022 to make a few short journeys. Overall, this is 5* accommodation with a great pool and Lagos is lovely old town which feels less touristic than Praia Da Luz for example.

Nära till allt!

En stor villa med allt väsentligt på nära håll som strand, marina och gamla staden. 7 vuxna och 3 små barn trivdes och hade gott om plats. Vi uppskattade också mycket poolområdet och den mycket fina trädgården. Hit återvänder vi gärna!

Excellent villa

The villa is a few roads back from the marina and is ideally positioned for the beach which is gorgeous and the town. Very spacious and you catch the sun all day around the pool but if you require some shade this is also available. There is a huge tv with 100’s of recent films and tv programmes available, loads of English channels and this was ideal for my teenage daughters who also took advantage of the WiFi . Would definitely recommend

Amazing property , great space , perfect location

We had a fabulous week away in Lagos staying in this villa. The villa had so much space for us to enjoy with the pool being a wonderful bonus. Loved every minute of our time here. Algarve retreats gave very good customer service from recommending the property for our needs to being there to meet us on arrival and available during the rest of our stay. Have never been to Portugal but will definitely be going back and would love to return to the villa again.

Fabulous villa. Fabulous location

We stayed at this villa to celebrate my 60th birthday. Myself, husband our children and spouses and four very young Grandchildren. I wanted somewhere that did not require a car because we would have needed more than one car and four car seats. This place was perfect! The beach, the marina, supermarket, everything was a short walk away. The villa is just beautiful and so big. It didn’t feel at all cramped. A lovely pool area too. I highly recommend this villa😊

Great Villa

The description of the villa was accurate. Well equipped with excellent layout. The garden and pool were well maintained. I cannot speak highly enough of the managers of the villa, Tracey and Adrian. They were at the Villa to greet us, very professional, answered our emails promptly and were on call to answer any queries while were at the Villa. We will certainly return!
