Das Golygfa Deg, oder "Fair View" auf Walisisch, ist ein Ferienhaus mit 3 Schlafzimmern und herrlichem Blick über die Mündung des Teifi. Das Cottage begrüßt Sie in der Ortschaft Gwbert, nur 5 Fahrminuten von der Marktstadt Cardigan entfernt. Zahlreiche Strände, Familienattraktionen und historische Stätten erreichen Sie von hier aus bequem. In Gehweite befinden sich zwei beliebte Restaurants und ein 18-Loch-Golfplatz. Vom Ponton am Rande des Dorfes aus können Sie regelmäßig Delfin- und Robbenbootsfahrten unternehmen. Nach einer kürzlichen Umgestaltung verfügt die Unterkunft nun über eine große, offene Küche / Wohn- / Esszimmer, die auf eine große nach Süden und Westen ausgerichtete Terrasse führt. Es gibt einen sicheren Garten hinter dem Haus und ein eigenständiges Spielzimmer mit einer großen Tischtennisplatte, einer Dartscheibe, einer X-Box360-Konsole, einem DVD-Player und einer Auswahl an Brettspielen. Haustiere sind willkommen und unbegrenzte Wifi-Verbindung ist verfügbar.

Wunderschön eingerichtetes Haus in absoluter Toplage

Das Haus selbst ist liebevoll eingerichtet mit einem fantastischen Blick aus Wohnzimmer Essbereich und Küche und mit einer Terrasse zum Essen und chillen in der Abendsonne mit Blick in den Sonnenuntergang ...alles in allem einfach ein Traum mit hervorragenden Wander- und Besichtigungsmöglichkeiten ganz in der Nähe

Wunderbare Aussicht auf Bay/ Delphine/Sunset

Tolles Bungalow, gut eingerichtet, mit allem ,was es braucht. Super Terrasse mit Aussicht auf Meer und Sonnenuntergang. Leider sind die Matratzen der Doppelbetten alt und hängen durch,die Waschmaschine/ Backofen waren nicht gerade sauber.unten am Bungalow geht eine Strasse durch, v.a am Wochenende reger Verkehr! Gesamt jedoch wirklich tolle Unterkunft mit super Stränden zum Laufen auch mit Hunden.

Sehr schöner Urlaub in traumhafter Lage

Großzügiges Anwesen mit kompletter Ausstattung und Meerblick von einer tollen Terrasse. Technik funktionierte gut, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Für deutsche Urlauber: Elektroadapter mitbringen.

Wunderbar

Wir haben unsere Ferien sehr genossen. Wir hatten eine ganze Woche wunderschönes Wetter. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einfach wunderbar. Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet, jedoch ohne Gewürze. Mit zwei Kindern (6 und 8J.) war die Wohnung ideal. Waschmaschine und Spielzimmer wie auch den Umschwung nutzten wir regelmässig. W-LAN vorhanden, aber für streaming nicht geeignet. Absolut empfehlenswert und wir können es uns gut vorstellen, noch einmal herzukommen! Vielen Dank.

Great view! Cannot fault that at all. 10 mins to the lovely town of Cardigan. The bungalow is light and even if the sun isn’t shining you still have a great view with all the windows. The place smelt musty when we arrived so had to air it out and also it wasn’t cleaned well. There were spiders and cobwebs in every corner, which was a shame as the house is stunning. We played lots of table tennis even though the room was a little dirty. The walk in shower room is stunning and we loved sitting outside on the outdoor furniture. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. It does say there’s a tumble dryer but there isn’t one. It however does have an air fryer which was very welcome and also the coffee machine is a dolce gusto which provides a lovely coffee. The host answered all questions promptly. There’s a lovely walk along the front through the cliff hotel car park. We also ate at the flat rock bistro who provide a good big meal

Lovely cottage with fantastic sea views

Lovely cottage with fantastic sea views over Cardigan bay and the Teifi estuary. The main sitting area and kitchen are lovely and much bigger than they look on the photos. Great outdoor patio area but unfortunately we didnt get to use it but can imagine spending long summer evenings out there on dolphin watch! Overall a great place to stay with everything you need for a relaxing break.

West Wales gem

Spacious cottage, well maintained and cosy- great location for exploring the local area. The welcome pack was very helpful. Although this was technically low season we still found plenty to do. There is also a games room although our two didn't need it.

Wonderful location and sea views - we were unlucky with weather but it didn’t matter as bungalow location made you appreciate all weather conditions. The accommodation was well equipped and comfortable - but needed TLC and smelt very damp - we didn’t use draws or wardrooms because of damp smell !! I think owners recognise this with dehumidifier in middle room !! Please reinvest 🙂👍

What can we say about our stay except that it was wonderful, except for a little rain....as for the rental, it is simply perfect, the complete and quality equipment, the EXTRAORDINARY view... the region with its coves and near... As for the owners, they are simply wonderful and responsive to the slightest request. a plus...the games room in which we were able to exchange a few ping-pong balls during rainy weather. We plan to return there next year and intend to confirm our request at the beginning of December. Special thanks to Antony and his wife who also speaks very correct French.

Beautiful views from a lovely house

We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave. Three adults and a younger teenager and a dog. Lovely house with large bedrooms, a lovely sitting room with large windows showing the wonderful vista of the bay. In front of that there is a large decked area and a picknic bench to the one side to eat your meals al fresco. The kitchen is high specification and is very well equipped indeed and also had dog bowls ready to use in one of the cupboards which was a big help. It has a large back garden and a separate games room with full size table tennis, Xbox, Darts, Board Games and jigsaw puzzles and the washing machine tucked away so you don't have the noise of the washer when sitting in the main room. The house overlooks the bay of the river Afon Teifi and is directly opposite the beach Poppit Sands which we have to say is one of the nicest we've been to and we go to a lot. The beach has a good RNLI presence and a lovely cafe to get cakes and sandwiches / rolls. The RLNI shop has a good gift shop selling lots of the usual seaside gifts, but also wind breaks, buckets and spades if you forgot yours.... Cardigan town centre is a mere 10 mins drive away and is lovely with all the shops you need. We can absolutely recommend an Italian Restaurant called Mannucis at the top end of town by the Castle. Just outside Cardigan but nearer the house you also have Tesco, Aldi and a B&M Retail. The area itself is full of natural beauty and there is plenty to do.

Spectacular views

Wow! We were expecting amazing views but these were even better than the pictures! The bungalow was very comfortable, clean and the modern kitchen and bathroom were perfect. The owners were very responsive to any enquiries. We had the best time and wished we could have stayed for 2 weeks. We will be back, thanks for a fantastic base for our family holiday x

Amazing views

We had a lovely stay here. The views from the house are amazing regardless of whether is it sunshine or raining. The house was clean, the kitchen had everything you needed. The games room was an added bonus that the kids loved. Antony was helpful and always quick to respond. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Stunning views and location

Great location and views. Nice new kitchen and main bathroom. However there’s a reason the website does not show many outside photos; it’s looking rather tatty and needs some upkeep, garden areas are overgrown and full of weeds, grass long and full of dog poo. Play room very dirty, and didn’t appear to have been cleaned in months. Cobwebs all around the place and radiators full of dirt. Kitchen well equipped with plenty of crockery and tools. Overall enjoyed our stay but unlikely to return.

Beautiful location on the side of the cliff overlooking fantastic Poppits beach with sheep grazing in the foreground. We booked early in the season for many facilities to be open but none the less enjoyed the brisk walks on the beach, coastal drives and watching the tides wash in and out around the moored boats. A lovely change of scenery at the time of year!

We live in Wales and work in Cardiff but have been coming down to West Wales at holiday time for many years - staying regularly in the nearby Patch Caravan Site.

We try to stay at Golygfa Deg, with our three children and golden retriever Jessie, as often as we can because we love spending family time together in such a beautiful part of the world. Its where we can really relax!!!

We love this area for lots of reasons - there are numerous local beaches which are just fantastic with beautiful clear water and great surfing too. We love the variety of wildlife too and have rarely stayed here without seeing the famous bottle nose dolphins from on the beach at Mwnt or while we are walking our dog around the coastal path.

For us Gwbert is only a short drive away but when we are there it feels like a real get away from our hectic day to day lives at work and school. It is a magical place for us with so many fond holiday memories....

Our cottage is so convenient for the beaches and the local town of Cardigan. Plus the nearby golf course, the coastal path, boat club and two great eateries are within walking distance of the front door.

The best bit is the ability to sit on the patio deck at the end of a fun-filled day with a glass of wine and watch the sun set into Cardigan Bay - just bliss!
