Hallo Amanda Hallo Andy
We liked our stay in Teffont very much therefore we wrote you a poem.
Hope you will like it.
Kind regards Jürgen
Old Turnpike Cottage in Teffont’s Embrace
Nestled in Teffont, near Salisbury's gleam,
Where the meadows whisper and the rivers dream,
Lies Old Turnpike Cottage, a gem of the past,
With a story in stone that forever will last.
Its thatched roof, a crown of golden grace,
Woven with care in time's gentle embrace,
Awarded in honor, a prize well-earned,
For the craft and the skill in which it was learned.
The sun's tender rays on the thatch softly play,
As breezes from Teffont dance on their way.
Windows that gaze on a world ever still,
Yet within, there's a warmth that no winter can chill.
The owners can be proud of such a fine place,
Amanda ensures guests feel welcomed and safe,
Jürgen, Claudia, and Marie say thanks with delight,
For a wonderful stay in this cottage so bright.
