Das Nebengebäude im Barrow Cottage ist eine einstöckige Erweiterung des Cottages und verfügt über einen großen Garten und eine Koppel. Es befindet sich in einem der schönsten Teile der Isle of Wight inmitten von grünen Wiesen und in der Nähe des malerischen Dorfes Godshill in einem Gebiet von außergewöhnlicher natürlicher Schönheit. Dies ist ein großartiges Wandergebiet, umgeben von Fußwegen, und dennoch sind es nur zehn Autominuten zu den Stränden von Shanklin und Ventnor. Wonderful cottage & countryside

Dear Nicky & Chris, we've had a great time on the Isle of Wight. Thanks a lot for your pleasant hospitality :-) We enjoyed cottage and garden, everything has been nice, clean and tidy, it just felt like a cosy home. Relaxing days in snugly and modern flat with fabulous garden

We spend great holidays with our two girls (1 and 3 years old) in the really comfortable and cozy apartment. We found everything we needed and if not, we got helped by the super friendly owners Chris and Nicky (e.g. needed a huge pot for cooking, which they lended us). Beside the accomodation itself we enjoyed the gorgeous garden with lovely flower beds, well-kept meadows, wonderful swing chair on the tree and a trampoline. Our girls just could explore the garden by themselves and were very lucky with that as same as we parents were. We can fully recommend that peaceful place!

Lovely holiday at Isle of Wight

This was our first visit to the Isle.We had a lovely stay at Chris and Nicky. The annex is very comfortable and had everything we needed. They have a beautiful garden where the children played games and we enjoyed a barbecue.The location was excellent to explore many attractions in the Island and very peaceful and quiet. Lovely hosts made us feel very welcome. Thank you very much!

The Annex at Barrow Cottage is ideally situated for island exploration while being a quiet, secluded location in which to relax. Chris and Nicky have provided everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The cottage is clean, quiet and the beds are very comfortable. The garden is great for kids to play in and the cottage will sleep 4 (plus a baby in the cot) with ease. We highly recommend this property to any couples or small families looking for an Isle Of Wight base.

Family Trip

Very nice property with a gorgeous garden. The only comment I would make is that it is not gated off from the road, so you need to keep an eye on young children at all times, although I appreciate the accommodation opens directly on to the garden. The location is fantastic. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful.

Lovely!

Well equipped accommodation in a really good location for practically everything. It was nice and clean and the hosts were extremely welcoming, even going as far as giving us some home grown veggies from their garden! They really did make us feel very welcome and very comfortable. They have a lovely garden which they were happy for us to enjoy. We loved the sheep too! This is the perfect base for any holidaying family and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Wonderful stay

What a lovely cottage. It was everything we hoped for and more. Lovely and clean, plenty of space inside and a wonderfully big garden for the children to play in. Chris and Nicky were great hosts and couldn't do more for us. A great location to explore the beautiful island. We hope to return in the future!

Excellent host

Stay was very comfortable. The place was Beautiful. Very very kind and friendly. Couldn’t be more accommodating. Helped with one of the kids foot on arrival. Location was great for what we were doing and not far from anywhere on island. Would 100% recommend. My only reason I could not go back is the don’t have dogs to stay. We will be bringing dogs next time. But other than that. Fantastic stay.

A perfect break in the countryside

Very comfortable, modern accomodation. Well laid out. Chris and Nicky were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Access to large attractive garden was the cherry on the top. Did not see the barn owls but heard them and knew they were there. But did hear skylarks and other birds. House excellently placed in rolling countryside but close to amenities and beaches. Thank you for a lovely stay, would love to return some time soon.

Quiet, well furnished with all needs met for a very enjoyable stay.We cooked nice meals in the well equipped kitchen, slept well and availed ourselves of the gorgeous surroundings by actually walking.We were well connected to media and were able to be very comfortable.

Lovely stay

The annex to Barrow Cottage was in an excellent location for travelling around the Island. The garden was an added bonus as well and our son loved running around it and riding his bike. It was comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend. We intend to return in the future.

Fantastic location for Cyclists!

Impeccable 2 bedroom studio with kitchen and lounge set back from the road with lovely grounds and wildlife - and even a secure shed to keep the bikes.! Very comfortable long weekend, great communication and just 400 yards from the main cycle routes round the island or a short peddle to the beach at Ventnor or Shanklin. What more could you want!!

Great place to stay for when you're holidaying on the Isle of Wight. Lots of attractions nearby and great bade for getting to different areas. Holiday home was clean and comfortable. Ideal stay

Lovely cosy cottage surrounded by beautiful garden. Met owner Nicky on check in. Lovely lady who was very helpful. We were let down by a taxi for a wedding at Appuldurcombe House and she very kindly gave us a lift. Everything in the cottage we needed and easy reach of attractions like Osbourne House, Carisbroke Castle. . Highly recommend.
