Das Jolly Boat ist eine schöne Wohnung für zwei Personen. Es ist eines von sieben Wohnungen in Seapoint, einem viktorianischen Gebäude hoch über dem Meer am Rande von Port Isaac thront. Es ist modern, sonnig, hell und luftig und macht eine schöne Rückzug für zwei Personen das ganze Jahr über. Es ist gut aufgestellt, leicht zu Fuß erreichbar von Port Isaac Dorf und Hafen, schöne Port Gaverne Bucht und Pub und den Coffee-Shops, Souvenirshop und Restaurants an der Spitze des Dorfes zu sein. Es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vor - ein echter Bonus in Port Isaac, wo das Parken fast unmöglich sein kann, vor allem in der Hochsaison.

Die Wohnung selbst mit Blick auf den gemeinsamen Garten auf der Rückseite - das ist ein Platz draußen, dass die Gäste sitzen in nutzen können; Der Garten bietet einen Blick auf das Meer und es gibt einen Trockenraum dort zum Waschen, Tauchanzüge usw.

Sobald Sie aus dem Seapoint Gebäude Schritt können Sie das Meer konfrontiert sind, mit dramatischen Aussicht auf Port Gaverne. Sie können an der Vorderseite des Seapoint die Stühle und kleine Tische aus dem kommunalen Bereich nehmen und sie auf das Gebiet das Meer mit direktem Blick auf einen Kaffee oder ein Glas Wein zu genießen.

Eine sehr gemütliche kleine Wohnung

Wir haben unseren Auenthalt in der Wohnung sehr genossen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Abwicklung mit den Vermietern war problemlos und es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Das Haus liegt auch sehr praktisch direkt an einer Straße an den Klippen und zur anderen Seite ist man zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten mitten im Ort oder am Hafen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche dort.

Lovely holiday!

We spent two lovely weeks in the Jolly Boat! The flat is very cosy and is provided with everything you might need on a holiday, from a well equipped kitchen and a comfy sofa to read on on a rainy day to folding chairs to sit outside and enjoy the breathtaking view! We were very sorry to leave. Thank you Karen and Jeff!

Stay at Jolly Boat

The property was excellent. It had everything one needed for our stay, it was clean and fully equipped. We found however the process of locating the property quite frustrating. Not the instructions from the owners but the fact that we would have had to wait 3 days before our stay from yourselves. This was extremely frustrating and we will not be using this system again. We did eventually communicate with the owners who were extremely helpful and we would have liked to have had this facility at the beginning.

Nice little hide away in Cornwall

The apartment is just the right size for 2 people and has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Amenities are within walking distance (the town of Port Isaac is a steep downhill walk and what goes down must come back up ;) ) so make sure you wear the right shoes. Port Gaverne beach, which is right in front of the apartment, is great for some relaxation as Port Isaac is very touristy and busy in the summer. I would definitely come back here.

Perfect lication

Very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped- everything you could possibly need! Tastefully furnished and decorated. Light and sunny lounge/ diner. Nice place to sit out in the sun in the evening, and an allocated car space. Great location for a short walk into Port Isaac, or Port Gaverne, or the coastal path.

Had a lovely stay the flat was on the SWCP, which is why we had selected it. As we had gone down to walk 2 sections of the path. It was like home from home.

Lovely spacious flat half way between Port Issac and Port Gaverne away from the tourist route. Magic views from small area downstairs in inclement weather and outside overlooking Port Gaverne. The 2 camping chairs a real plus to sit out looking directly down on Port Gaverne as was the dedicated parking space, easy to get into and out of. Only downside for me as someone of matureyears was the small shower but

Comfortable Stay

Apartment is cosy and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for self catering. Shower slightly awkward to get in and out. Fabulous area in front of designated parking, with chairs and table available to use, we took full advantage of as June and sunny. Although no views from apartment, the view from this outside area, absolutely stunning.

Pleasant stay

Karen and Jeff’s flat was decorated with lovely Cornish accessories/ornaments. The kitchen was well equipped. However getting into the shower was a bit tricky i.e. too high and small. Could do with an extra toilet roll! 😉 Overall we had a pleasant stay in the flat. Thank you to the hosts.

Fabulous little get away!

Although the weather was rubbish during our stay, we had the most amazing week away. The appartment was very clean and had everything you need to feel at home. It is located within walking distance of many lovely shops and restaurants in Port Isaac and is a short drive from many other “must see” areas in Cornwall. The host was always available to answer questions and was very helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Ideal couples retreat & treat

Perfect small but adequate one bedroomed apartment close to Port Isaac but away from the crowds with added bonus of parking & a view to die for at the front of the property. Owners very accommodating & the apartment has every mod con that you need. Several eating choices close by & a BBQ provided should you prefer. A wonderfully relaxing holiday.

Jolly Boat: perfect for me!

I was so happy with everything about Jolly Boat: located with easy access to both Port Gaverne and Port Isaac! had all the items I needed and appreciated most particularly the clothes washer. If I'm able to ever return to Port Isaac, I hope to be able to stay in Jolly Boat again.

Affordable accomodation

Flat is in a good position in Port Isaac with parking space. Furnished to a good standard. Only downside is bathroom rather cold and bedroom cold and damp. We were there during storm Gareth, which probably did not help the situation. Would imagine this would not be a problem in the warmer months. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite this.

Cosy retreat with a view.

A lovely stay in a cosy flat with everything you could possibly need. Excellent communication with the owners. Thank you Karen and Jeff. It’s ideally situated and has fantastic views outside. Port Issac is just a 10 minute walk away and is just amazing. So pretty. There’s a couple of pubs, gift shops and some nice eating places. It’s very relaxing. The hills can be quite challenging though!😮 It’s also not too far, with a car, to go off and visit other places such as Padstow, Newquay and Tintagel. I highly recommend this place. It’s a hidden treasure. Hopefully in the future we’ll be back again for another visit. 😊

The Jolly Boat is a lovely little apartment. We really enjoyed our stay here.

What a lovely place. It has everything you could need and is comfortable and homely. The view out front is lovely and we sat out with a cuppa on more than one occasion, just gazing out to sea. I spoke to Karen prior to our trip and she was very lovely and helpful. Port Isaac is beautiful and the homely apartment tops it off. It's easily walkable to all restaurants and bars. A great holiday!!

We started coming to Port Isaac over 25years ago and visited a few times every year, growing to love it more and more each time. We always dreamed of owning our own place in this beautiful spot and that dream came true when we bought the Jolly Boat, our much loved second home. We spend as much time as we can in this lovely little apartment and are very happy to share it with others when we can't be there ourselves.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We fell in love with the Jolly Boat because it was just what we were looking for as our little retreat. It is in a wonderful position - very close to both Port Isaac and Port Gaverne, but far enough out of the village to be quiet even in the height of summer. We had been looking for 'our place' for some time and we knew that we wanted privacy and - most important and difficult to come by in Port Isaac - private free parking directly outside. The apartment is perfect for two people - comfortable, light, and well equipped. Most of all we love to sit outside the front on a summer's evening and watch the sea. Perfect!
