Eine schöne freistehende Villa mit 3 Schlafzimmern und privatem Pool in wunderschöner Landschaft, 10 Autominuten vom Dorf Torrox entfernt. Die Villa bietet einen spektakulären Blick auf die umliegenden Berge, die Küste und die Stadt in ruhiger Umgebung. Die Unterkunft ist alles auf einer Ebene mit einem kompletten Badezimmer und einem separaten Dusch- / WC-Raum. Der Pool misst 7 x 4 Meter. Pooltiefe 2 Meter tiefes Ende und flaches Ende 1,5 Meter, vor dem Grundstück gelegen. Der Pool hat Nachtlichter für die warmen spanischen Abende und ein spätes Bad. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Poolbereich balustriert und von der Villa abgegrenzt ist. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu tun. Es gibt viele Bars und Restaurants in Torrox, an der Costa und in den umliegenden Städten und Dörfern. Viele lokale Märkte und Supermärkte in der Nähe. Das Einkaufszentrum El Engenio und der nahe gelegene Wasserpark sind innerhalb von 20 Autominuten erreichbar.

Beautiful stay

The villa was absolutely lovely and the views were stunning. We found our hosts to be very responsive and kind. The villa had everything we needed and I felt we were well catered for. We would definitely stay here again. I would say the last part of the journey up to the villa is not for a nervous driver, however you would not have such spectacular views. Thank you for having us, we would love to stay again.

Great villa with wonderful view

We had a great time at this wonderful villa with a fantastic view. The process up to our stay was very smooth and we received very good and valuable information from the owners. The road up to the villa is very bendy and steep but you get used to it after having driven it a couple of time. The house itself has all the necessary utilities and the pool is also very nice. We had a great stay and definitely recommend the villa if you want a quiet and remote place which is still close by car to the beach, different towns and attractions

Wow!!

The Villa and it’s location is just beautiful ! The communication with Garry & Jane and Stephen & Dian was excellent at all times. We met Stephen who then took us up to the Villa and it was all I can say is the photos don’t do it justice it’s stunning and spotlessly clean and I’ve never seen such a crystal clear pool! The Villa had everything we needed and a big Thank you for the hamper. There was lots of info on the Villa and the area, it’s easy to get to the beach etc. we enjoyed the Villa so much and would definitely come back again and throughly recommend it .

well kept expionlally clean

Fabulous villa with great views quite and secluded. the villa is well equipped with all modern facilities .Satellite/Sky TV with English programmes. Air con for those very hot nights. The pool was amazing , really lovely at night with the pool lights on. The owners were very helpful and made arrangements for us to be met and taken to the villa. A car is essential although We found the single lane dirt track up to and from the villa was very difficult and at times and very scary. Charlie & Josephine Amos

Lovely andalusian villa with fantastic views on sea & mountains

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely casa Joanna and we must admit that we do not regret it. Everything was perfect from the start. All the useful informations were given by Garry & Jane prior our stay, we had excellent contacts with the local managers Steeve & Dian who have met us on time the first day for the key remittance and who were very reactive for any queries we had during our stay. Regarding the house itself, we found every thing we needed, the pool was cleaned regularly and was very much appreciated by the all family at any moment of the day. But the top of the top remains this incredible view we had on Torrox Pueblo and the sea. This is purely unique !!!. The access to the villa is tricky as the road is a little bit narrow but this is just a question of days to be used to drive on it. We definitely recommand the villa and will not hesitate to come back in the future. !

Great villa with beautiful views

Villa Joanna is a lovely, clean villa with spectacular views. We have stayed in many villas before but none with views like this one as it looks over the mountains, Torrox and the sea. Communication with Jane and Garry was excellent as it was with Steve and Dian when needed who look after the villa in Spain. Steve met us on time to take us up to the villa on the first day and show us around. The villa is very well equipped and clean and the welcome pack was very useful. The only downside is the track to the villa which is very much an off road journey as it is very rough in places. It did not bother me too much after a couple of journeys but may bother a timid driver. If you heed what Garry and Jane say and get a car with a good ground clearance then it would be better. Overall, though, the views were well worth it.

Outstanding

Beautiful villa with outstanding views! From the minute we walked in, it felt like home. The outside space and pool were great and many hours were spent there enjoying the views and wonderful weather. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas and the local village is a must visit. Overall we left wishing we were staying longer, The owners were really great and communication was good. The local hosts (Steve and Dian) were lovely and happy to answer any questions. Would we come back? We would be back there in a heartbeat. Thank you

Fabulous Villa (July 20th 2019)

As a party of 6 (4 adults and two children) we had a great week staying in this well equipped villa with panoramic views. We found the villa very comfortable and spacious with everything you need. We all loved the pool area especially the views you had over the beautiful Torrox village, the mountains and sea. Communication with the owners was excellent. We hope to be back. Sam

Fantastic return visit

This is the second time we have stayed at Casa Joanna and we loved every second yet again. We have stayed in various villas in Torrox over the past 10 years but this one is definitely the best for us in our opinion. We love the layout and the spacious feel around the villa and the pool. The villa is totally secluded and not overlooked at all and the views are amazing. The little things that also separate this villa from the others for us are the good, constant wifi connection and the large American fridge freezer with ice maker. We will definitely be returning again next year

Peace & quiet & views!

Lovely well equipped & maintained villa, a real home from home & better than your average rental property. It's 10 mins up a bit of a rough track but the views once you get there are sensational looking over picturesque Torrox and down to the coast !! We were met and taken up to the villa by Steve who was happy to answer any questions and told us when he would be round to check the pool. Not the villa if you like to be at the centre of the action but if you are looking for a peaceful relaxing break look no further. A refreshing pool with a large level area around it with sunbeds and a good large brolly, a very welcome covered patio for breakfast and lunch and plenty of parking space. The house is very well equipped - plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, comfortable beds, spacious comfortable lounge with sofas, a good tv and music centre, everything you need in the kitchen. Some nice places to eat and drink down in the village especially in the pretty square with lots of umbrellas hanging to great effect. Very close to good road networks so easy to go exploring - we went to Granada on a cloudy day to visit the Alhambra and the coast is only 10 mins from Torrox. Good Wi-Fi and mobile phone coverage. We were only there for a week and came back wishing it had been longer!

Great property - perfect for a family of six, definitely need a car!

Overall a very positive stay. The house is well maintained, spacious and has a lovely pool and outlook over Torrox, the hills and the sea. The house has air conditioning in the lounge and one bedroom which helps on a hot evening. The house has everything we needed - dishwasher, wifi, DVD, UK tv, washing machine, fridge and freezer and worked perfectly. We used the house to relax and enjoy the pool but also had some good day trips. Granada, the Caves of Neja and Frigilano are all good places to visit. Aquavelis is a great day out with the kids. The couple who look after the property are extremely helpful. Local Mercado in Torrox Costa was a good supermarket to use and there are local shops and a bakery in Torrox itself. The house is accessed by a steep mountain road which is unsurfaced in places - its fine once you've done it once but you definitely need to hire a car. We flew into Almeria on Iberia flights from Heathrow via Madrid which worked well. We would definitely recommend it for a relaxing week or two!

Relaxing family holiday in a superb villa.

This was our 2nd time staying in the villa, the 1st being 2 years ago. We have been coming to this area of Spain for about 8 years, and this villa is a fabulous find. The track is rough towards the end but absolutely fine. It was so lovely going back to somewhere we knew. You never tire of the stunning views once at the back of the property. You overlook lovely Torrox Pueblo with the sea in the distance, and to the right are the mountains - gorgeous!! Lots of lovely meals/tapas had in Torrox and in nearby Competa ( in particular Restaurant El Pilon) and the beaches visited at Torrox Costa and Burriana in Nerja. The villa is just home from home, very well equipped but with added sun and a pool !!! Great communications from the owners throughout the whole booking process. I would definitely recommend this villa for a fabulous, relaxing family holiday. We will be returning again, I am sure! What more can I say!!

Fantastic spacious peaceful villa

We have been staying in different villas around Torrox for the last 10 years and I can honestly say this was my favourite. Very clean and very spacious I loved the layout. The pool is fenced off with gates that can be locked to stop toddlers wandering too close if needed. There is a winding track to the villa but this is worth every step when you see the stunning views. We were met by a Freind of the owner of the villa just off the motorway and he lead us up to the villa which completely took the stress out of finding it. He also sorted any problems we had out which was only one small thing but he was out to help within the hour. We will definitely be returning soon.

Relaxing, peaceful Villa.

We arrived for a family holiday, with two teenagers and a 12 year old for a 15 night stay. Wonderful villa, stunning scenery which you only appreciate once at the back of the property. You look down over the lovely village of Torrox, to the right you have the stunning mountains and in the short distance ahead , the coast. There is a good size pool with gradual step entry with lights you can use for night swimming - lovely ! The villa was clean and well maintained. All of our meals were eaten under the veranda, which was lovely. There is a BBQ but you cannot use in July or August due to fire risks (which we found out upon arrival) but after speaking to the owner when we arrived (as our holiday covered the latter end of August and beginning of Sept), he said that with due care and attention using charcoal not paper, we were allowed to use. There is Wifi in the villa, which is invaluable with teenagers! The villa is home from home with the added benefits of the sun!! The lovely villages of Frigiliana and Competa are very picturesque and worth a visit. Nerja is a larger town further down the coast which is lovely too, with a wider range of watersports. Torrox Costa is the nearest beach, this also has pedaloes for hire. To be honest, the road/track leading to the villa was a little worse than we expected but having seen it the following morning in daylight and having driven a couple of times, it was fine. Great communications with the owners, both before and during our holiday. You are met by the Meet and Greet agents, who are were friendly. All in all, a fabulous holiday for my family and we would love to return to the villa one day. We would recommend for a relaxing, peaceful holiday.

A peaceful retreat

A wonderful setting for a family holiday. Going through the garden gate you catch a glimpse of the view and, when you walk to the pool and look out from the balcony, there is a sweeping vista of mountains in one direction, then the village of Torrox in the valley below and finally the coast just a few miles away. The villa itself had everything we needed and was very clean and nicely furnished. We had most of our meals on the lovely shaded terrace and we all enjoyed the good-sized pool - our grand-children especially loved swimming at night when the pool lights were switched on. Torrox village is delightful, as is the nearby village of Frigiliana. Torrox Costa is about 15 mins. drive from the villa and has a wide choice of shops and restaurants and a further 20 minutes drive along the coast takes you to the larger town of Nerja. We would strongly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings

My wife and I live in Cornwall UK. We have spent many holidays with family in Spain and have always loved the weather, scenery, culture and food. We spend our winter months in the villa away from the cold and damp winter in the UK which gives us the best of both worlds. We especially love the villa because over the years it has become our second home, we spend many hours gardening in the warmer climate enjoying the peace and serenity it offers.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

The reasons for buying the property and its location were several, firstly we fell in love with the Costa Del Sol many years ago when holidaying with family and friends. The location of Torrox was so appealing being central to the towns, the coast and motorway. Torrox being advertised as having one of the best climates in Europe, which also sold it for us. The property location we chose for the reasons being local to villages, Nerja, Torre Del Mar, Caleta Marina, banks, post offices, restaurants and night life. It is also just off major roads with access to Malaga airport, whilst being away from all the noise associated with it. The views from the property are spectacular accessed via 3km from the town of Torrox via a part tarmac/concrete road used quite frequently by other owners.

The home with all its amenities, the private swimming pool, the peace and quiet, the half acre garden fully enclosed growing many species of fruit. The views of the sea, mountains, town and surrounding countryside and lovely walks. Torrox town is literally ten minutes away by car, Torrox Costa 15 minutes ride, where you have all the amenities you could need. There are gates at the entrance to the property giving it security, with ample room to park your vehicle. There are also more gates to keep the pool safe for young children. Internet and English programs on TV should they be required. The property was constructed for us by a local registered builder in 2002 and for both ourselves and guests we would hope it is home from home, with added benefits.
