Winter:

Entladen Sie Ihr Schneemobil und gehen Sie einfach. Das New York State Trail System kreuzt tatsächlich den hinteren Teil von Krahula Acres! Mehr von einem Skifahrer, Oak Mountain ist eine kurze 15 Minuten Fahrt von Wells und bietet Skifahren für alle Schwierigkeitsgrade. Ich weiß nicht, wie man Ski fährt, sie bieten auch Snowtubing an! Auf der Suche nach anspruchsvolleren Trails sind wir eine 35-minütige Fahrt vom Gore Mountain, einem der besten Skigebiete New Yorks.
Das Gebiet bietet auch eine breite Palette von Langlaufski. Es ist eine 25-minütige Fahrt zum Lapland Lake Nordic Ski Centre. Wenn Sie ein wenig näher an der Heimatbasis bleiben möchten, ist der gefrorene Lake Algonquin ideal zum Langlaufen und ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Hütte entfernt.

Sommer:
Mit dem warmen Wetter kommt Schwimmen, Wandern, Angeln, Bootfahren, Kajak fahren, etc ... Wir sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Lake Algonquin. Machen Sie einen Spaziergang zum Strand und sonnen Sie sich. Der Adirondack State Park bietet Wandern für alle Schwierigkeitsgrade. Wir sind nur 5 Autominuten von Auger Falls entfernt. Ein einfacher Weg mit einem großen Gewinn. Auf der Suche nach einer Wanderung mit Aussicht besteigen Sie einen der vielen Berge, die vom New York State Park markiert sind.

Während Sie in Krahula Acres sind, haben Sie Zugang zum 3 Schlafzimmer, 1 Bad, Blockhaus.

Wenn Sie das Anwesen betreten, werden Sie eine große umlaufende Veranda mit Propangasgrill, Picknicktisch, Schaukel und Adirondack-Stühlen bemerken. Der perfekte Ort für einen entspannten Nachmittag.

Eines der Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss ist mit 2 großen Betten ausgestattet. Perfekt für die Kinder. Die anderen Schlafzimmer sind mit einem Doppelbett ausgestattet. Fühlen Sie sich frei, sich auszubreiten oder zu versagen! Es gibt auch ein Klappbett, falls Sie noch Platz für ein weiteres benötigen.

Hinten gibt es eine Feuerstelle zum Rösten von Marshmallows und zum Bauen von S'mores.

Der Hof ist offen und bietet einen tollen Platz um sich auf den Rücken zu legen und die Sterne zu genießen.

Overall the property was as expected. It could possible do with a bit of love and attention now and air conditioning would be great. But overall was good for us as a family.

5 years in a row and looking forward to next year. Matt is great and so is the house. Not enough snow but that is Mother Nature. Winters seem to be coming later. Might have to adjust our dates next year. We had a blast anyway 😊

BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU RENT.

I stay with my family 4 days, the place it wasn't to clean it has spider webs an dust, we try to left everything nice and clean, 4days it can produce garbage 8 people, the hostess said that we left a lot of massy and garbage, and a broken window that we not broken i got pictures and videos to proof before and after. I just want to advice if you want rent be careful take video before and after you dont know this person how much will be charge for anything after you left. is not the first time i rent we know that we have to left everything in order and if we brocken we pay but this time we didn't. Just becareful!!!

A Wonderful Place to Get Away

Although I did not meet the Host in person, he was graciously hospitable via messages. My guest list was not finalized until I was actually there.The host was flexible with me at every communicaton. The cabin was very welcoming! All ammenities were exactly or better than as stated. We all spent time on the lovely wrap around porch! I hope to get back there again next year!

Perfect getaway

First of all, I have to say that the pictures do NOT do the cabin justice! There is so much space that my 11 and 14 year old daughters hardly faught at all! We were stranded for the half of our week due to having to have our vehicle towed to Amsterdam. The beach was a short little walk (bicycle ride) from the cabin, as was The Wells Edge. We are already talking about a return in the next year or 2 so we can explore the area further. We did get a chance to go to Great Sacandaga Lake and to Moffitt Beach in addition to the Wells town beach several times. The people of Wells were so incredibly kinda in my week of crisis, it was like a Hallmark movie.

Perfect!

House is great! Everything we needed was there, pots, pans, dishes, towels. The covered porch is an amazing feature especially on those rainy Adirondack days! This is the 2nd time we stayed here.

Charming mountain home

We had a wonderful week in the Adirondacks. Great location, easy access to many beautiful spots. Several nice restaurants in the area too. Loved the wrap around porch, we spent lots of time there. The kitchen appliances are a bit dated, but the kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom is small for 5 of us, but shower has good water pressure. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I would highly recommend, great space for a family vacation.

Fun winter getaway

Matt and his home are very welcoming! Matt helped with every question in a timely manner. The house was as advertised, cozy and comfortable. The outlets varied as to working or not but not a big deal. Kitchen was well equipped. We only had 4 people and living space was very comfortable for us but if we had the max number of peeps for sleeping the hangout space would have been tight! Sled trail is right outside the door which was awesome for us! Lakes galore!! We are hoping to come back in the summer for some kayaking!!

Cozy Cabin

We had a little issue with the lockbox initially, but finally managed it. The beds were very comfortable and while there wasn’t air conditioning, there were fans in every room. The kitchen could use some more cooking utensils, otherwise it was adequately supplied. The front porch and giant log bench was my favorite spot for coffee in the morning. It was the perfect location to all the activities we were there to do.

Great place!

We had a great time here! The house had everything we needed for our stay. The location to the private beach, local store and attractions is great! Matt was very responsive with all the questions and last minute changes we (almost!) needed. My only suggestion is a bigger coffee pot! Lol! Thank you Matt!

Nice, quiet and clean

This was a great house to rent, even though the location is on a fairly main road, it is exceptionally quiet in this area. I really don’t have any negatives aside from little to no cell service but that is not under the owners control. WiFi is available there and bridged the gap with the minimal cell service while at the property. I would definitely rent here again.

A nice place to stay.

The house is great. It has everything you need. The deck is a cool place to hang out. And it is only a .5 mile walk to the beach which is wonderful. The only draw back was no a/c upstairs. I am sure ten months of the year that is fine and in the evenings all you have to do is open the windows and everything cools off. But you have to wake up early and close them to try to keep the heat out and you do not want to be up there during the day. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend it to others. Matt, the owner is also very nice and helpful. He answered all my questions quickly.

Adirondack hunting trip

This home was everything we needed for our trip to the Adirondacks. The house was clean and comfortable and in a perfect location. There were devastating rains that took out some of the roads during the week prior to us coming up to the area and the owner kept as well informed of the progress being made with road repairs. We will definitely book this property again in the future.

Relaxing weekend

I really enjoyed this property. The front porch is AMAZING and we spent a lot of time out there. The house had everything we needed and the mattresses are SO comfortable. The check in/out process is easy as well. Close to Speculator where we had to go for a wedding. Great location for a little getaway.
