Die Villa Anemoni ist eine moderne, offene Villa, die eine ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre für Familien bietet. Sie liegt 800 m vom winzigen Fischerdorf Katelios entfernt. Die örtlichen Tavernen, der Strand und der Minimarkt sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Lage garantiert einen atemberaubenden Blick über das Tal und das Meer auf die Insel Zante und die dahinter liegenden Berge. In der Ferne ist der berühmte Caretta-Strand zu sehen, an dem die Unechten Karettschildkröten ihre Eier legen. Rund um den Infinity-Pool befindet sich eine Außenterrasse mit Grill, Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirmen. Außerdem gibt es einen überdachten Außenessbereich, in dem Sie mittags im Freien speisen können. Die Villa ist zu einem hohen Standard mit Satellitenfernsehen, DVD, Spülmaschine und Mikrowelle, Wi-Fi und Luft con gänzlich ausgerüstet. Alle Schlafzimmer haben einen eigenen Balkon mit herrlichem Blick. Anemoni wird Gäste ansprechen, die einen Familienurlaub mit dem Gefühl "wegzukommen" suchen, aber dennoch einfachen Zugang zu den örtlichen Annehmlichkeiten haben. Fantastic pool area

The villa is in a wonderful location with amazing views and total privacy. We would definitely stay here again. The check-in process was easy and the property owner was very responsive. We loved the village of Katelios which has a good range of restaurants set right on the edge of the beach.

Pool oasis with a view

We enjoyed the pool and view from the property. Location was a short (and steep) drive into town for shopping and dining. Things to improve: downstairs bed was very uncomfortable. WiFi was down most of the time, day or night. When working, only useful when in kitchen area of house.

Spacious villa with good view

Lots of space in the villa, great views of sea though somewhat obscured by large plants & trees. Good distance from beach and restaurants easily walkable as long as you can cope with steep climb on returning. Overall had a great time revisiting Scala, Poros etc. & relaxing in villa after.

Amazing views. Lovely pool.

Wonderful villa in a fantastic location. Amazing views from pool area. Plenty of tavernas within walking distance. Problem with no running water on arrival, but owner was responsive and sorted within 24 hours. All in all- a wonderful holiday.

Kefalonia villa

The property was lovely with stunning views and a beautiful pool. The beach and tavernas were within walking distance and although uphill on the way back we enjoyed the walk. If I was to improve anything it would be a better mattress in the main bedroom and some blackout curtains as we had to shut the shutters which was a shame. Only minor issues as we thought the whole experience from check in, communications with the owner, the mid week clean and the location of the villa were all outstanding and we would go back again! Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay.

Perfect Peaceful Retreat

The villa's location was perfect for us. Sat far enough up and away from the resort to be totally peaceful but close enough that it was just a 10 mim walk to the front at Katelios - just be prepared for the big hill! It is situated.on the edge of a forrested area and is surrounded by beautiful flowers and fauna and you will feel totally immersed with nature. The views are to die for. The pool is a fantastic size. You get sun from sunrise through to about 6.30 which is when the sun drops behind the hill (July). The villa inside is very comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. Any issues were very quickly dealt with by the host. We did run out of running water on the last day....not the villa's fault but worth knowing that this can happen. Despite this, it did not detract from a 5☆rated stay. We would.love to return.

Great villa, great pool, great location

We are a family of 5 with 2 big post teens and an 11 yr old. The layout and space in the villa worked really well. The pool is lovely and the view and aspect of the outdoor space is fabulous. You feel surrounded by woods and nature. It’s really nice to be out of and above the village but close enough to easily go down for dinner and drinks - it’s a very sweet and nice village, great beachfront taverns to choose from. The beach alongside the tavernas has umbrellas and loungers to rent and the sea is nice but honestly the best thing is to go down the southern end away from the village which is a blue flag beach and the sea is absolutely amazing. You can also easily walk across the headland to mounda beach. We took the bus to Skala beach one day which at the southern end has Ibiza vibes. We did a big shop at Lidl on the way to the villa which is the best thing to do. But actually there is a good little convenience store called mcMarket, it’s probably expensive but very handy tbh. Huyshe’s advice and recommendations were all very good too.

Fantastic.great pool.spacious bedrooms.lovely outdoor area.well equiped.lovely helpful cleaner.

We were traveling with 2 small children for a wedding and were a bit apprehensive but this villa was absolutely perfect. The pool was lovely, a shallow end for the kids to splash about in and great for the adults to have a good swim. We were there during a bit of a heat wave (peaks of 39°) so were very thankful for the aircon, which worked prefectly in all bedrooms, the living area faces the sun and warmed up quickly as the sun came up, the aircon worked but not quite as effectively, but I'm being a typical picky brit now...it was live-able! The lovely owner recommended car hire which was definitely worth it as the villa is up a rather large hill (as is most of kefalonia) which gives you spectacular views, especially from the upstairs bedroom balcony. There are plenty of lovely restaurants along the beach front at katelios, we went to "Maria's" a couple of times as they were super friendly with the kids, food was great and well priced. The bigger resort of skala is a 15/20 minute drive away. Driving the windy roads took a bit of getting used but was loads of fun, i even had a go driving on the "wrong side" for the 1st time! We met the lovely cleaner who made some helpful kid friendly recommendedations...karminia beach being one, stays very shallow for a long way out and the water is ridiculously clear and warm. Overall an excellent time had by all, we'd love to go back and stay at villa anemoni again!

Villa Anemoni - everything you want in a villa

The day we arrived it was 39C but the airport, car hire, instructions to get to Villa Anemoni were all so easy we were in that glorious pool in no time. We were surprised and delighted how small and unspoilt Kefalonia was and at this end of the island even more so. The villa is large, airy and modern with a great view across the valley and down to the sea. The housekeeper was very helpful and attentive and we were very well looked after. For the first 3 days we stayed by the pool and then started to explore the many different beaches on the island. After extensive research (!) our favourite was Kiminia which is a 5 min drive from the villa and great for kids. Our favorite day was when we rented a boat for the day (in the local village) and went all along the coast snorkeling in the coves and caves - absolute paradise. It is worth coming to this area just to be able to do that as I didn't notice it being offered elsewhere. The village also has several shops and a restaurant "strip" of about 10 places to eat as well as a cocktail bar, bakery etc. That said the villa is very private - a 5 min walk from the village and tucked away in a wooded hillside. The water temperature and clarity ensured the kids spent hours daily snorkeling and after a day on the beach they spent even more hours in the villa's beautiful pool. I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful villa easy access to beach and tavernas

The villa was lovely and clean with a great pool and view of the hills. The sea view would have been more spectacular from the infinity pool if the large tree was trimmed down a bit. The top right bedroom had the best view of the sea. It was an easy walk down to the beach front and we tried all the recommended tavernas recommended by Hyushe the host. We especially recommend the restaurant Anemos in Maunda Bay which we visited twice. Amazing food and service and sea view. The cleaner came once during our weeks stay and she was quick and friendly and not intrusive at all. If you have young children there are loads of beach toys, board games and such like to entertain them. One thing that we noticed that was lacking when we compared this stay to ther places we stayed was the absence of a welcome package or basket. It would have been nice to arrive fro the airport and find some basics such as water, milk, bread, juice, wine, butter etc in the fridge. We had to buy everything as there was only one bottle of water in the fridge. Otherwise the villa is lovely, comfortable and so near to a couple of mini markets. Skala beach nearby is great for beautiful sandy beach and water sports such as paddle boarding which our 16 year old twins enjoyed. It was a great holiday and as a family we really enjoyed the experience and the detailed and comprehensive communication from the host.

Fantastic Villa with breath taking views

The modern stylish villa sits above Katelios village with wonderful views to the sea and mountains and was a great base for our first stay on Kefalonia. It's well equipped with good air conditioning and a good range of furnishings to make two weeks stay very comfortable. The pool is stunning with ample sunbeds and umbrellas. Huyshe was available to deal with a couple of minor issues and was a good property owner to deal with. Katelios has some lovely restaurants and bars and is suitable for people looking for a quieter relaxed holiday. Overall we loved our stay and would rebook again.

Fabulous villa

Booked via the owner who was very helpful. Villa had everything we could have wished for. Clean, pool area great with fabulous views. Katelios is a small village but had enough bars and restaurants to keep everyone happy. Kids booked a boat for the day so they could see more of the island. I would recommend Villa Anemoni.

Lovely villa in excellent location

We Stayed at Villa Anemoni for a week at the end of August- it was fantastic! The villa was spotless and had everything we needed and it is in a perfect location- a short walk to Katelios which is our favourite resort in Kefalonia. The large pool is lovely with views over mountains and the sea. The various balconies also have fantastic views! Thanks Huyshe for you excellent communication- we would definitely like to return soon.

Falling in love with Villa Anemoni

Perfectly situated up a hill in the town of Katelios - really quiet and secluded but moments from bars, restaurants, shops and the sea. There are some really good restaurants on the beach front and a great cocktail bar where you can watch the sun set into the sea. The villa was really spacious for just 6 people. It was clean, comfortable, well-equipped and everything was in working order (except the wifi which only went on the blink due to World Cup fever!). The air conditioning was an absolute joy as it was stunningly hot all the time so made it very easy to sleep. The owner was very prompt to reply when we had queries and quick to replace a broken toaster and a grumbling aircon unit. Lovely to have had our sheets and towels changed mid-week, even though we were only there for one week. The villa was also cleaned mid-week. We will definitely go again. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous Villa

Gorgeous villa with a great pool in a fantastic location. Well situated on thr island of Kefalonia, with only a short walk to a good selection of restaurants and the sea, and a short drive from the bustling resort town of Skala. We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday, incorporating both the sights of sami, fiskardo, assos and argostoli, and plenty of relaxation around the pool.

Location good The cleaniness of Villa very disapointing

On arrival we were very disapointed with the cleaniness of the Villa .Also the frigde was not working , pool maintanance below standard water turning green not cleaned until our last but one day of holiday there was no safe in situ as stated on website,Owner informed of the above issues and offered a 20% discount on our next booking (Sorry we will not be taking up this offer ).

Beautiful and peaceful

This villa is absolutely perfect for getting away from it all but still within walking distance of a quiet beach and a few tavernas. We are a family with 3 teenagers who found plenty to do in the local village and it was a short drive to Skala for more choice. The villa is really clean and well furnished and the owner and housekeeper could not have been more helpful. We managed to leave a couple of small items (chromecast) and they even had thenm posted back to us in the UK. Could have happily stayed all summer!

Beautiful location, very comfortable property

We were given a very warm welcome by the hosts, who told us in much detail about how to find the villa and what to do when there. The villa itself is lovely, very spacious with big balconies, all the mod cons and a beautiful infinity pool, incredible views, lemon and olive trees in abundance all around. Ketelios is charming, and should you wish to explore further there is a very informative book at the property telling you in much detail about the surrounding places. Hiring a car is important if you wish to explore. The beaches and landscape on the island are just breathtaking. Really recommend this property. Five stars.

Fabulous Stay in Great Location

Very spacious and comfortable villa up the hill from Katelios with great views across the valley and bays. The nearby beaches are the softest sand on the island and perfect for children. They run for a a few kilometres and are almost deserted, just heaven. Huyshe was on hand through the stay to make sure everything was smooth and we had everything we needed. Overall a fantastic stay.

Amazing villa

We arrived at the villa and shared our holiday with friends and our children. We had an amazing holiday, loved the privacy of the property , its immaculate condition and the walks to the beach and tavernas! Overall a fantastic stay, will definitely come back and recommend to more friends at home.

Peaceful setting for a Villa break in Katelios

Villa Anenomi is a very well appointed Villa in a private, secluded location with more than adequate living and sleeping space for 6, a delightful pool and poolside area and and a superb outlook over Katelios and the bay. Down the lane to the Villa and turn right down the road for 150 metes and you are on the beach and among the beach-side Tavernas, all of which provide excellent food and friendly service. When returning to the Villa, the last 100 metres or so is on the steep side so some might prefer to use the hire car for a shuttle service. Also, there are quite a few steps up to the Villa so not suitable for the disabled. However, for the able bodied an ideal Villa for your holiday base.

Top of the World

On arrival to the Villa, our immediate impressions were, are we in Greece or Italy. The stairs leading up to the Villa said it all, yet when we opened the door, to the open plan kitchen/living room with the perfectly formed pool, we knew we had properly arrived. The views beyond are breathtaking and yet the privacy of the house and poolside truly makes for a totally relaxing holiday. We found all the amenities in good working order, very clean, which makes settling in, quick and easy. The caretaker Jean, lovely lady was very helpful, good to know if we needed any advice. The little fishing village/town at the bottom of the drive is full if great restaurants, I still think of our first night, eating lobster pasta with a smooth light Greek white in a popular taverna. Lastly I must make mention of the great position of the Villa, easy access to the main road to Skala, Poros and Sima, what a wonderful drive we had that day. Thank you Huw/Eleni we so loved the Island, we will return to explore more. One little tip, talk to the locals they tell you the best hidden spots, Koroni beach is one of them, we found the best place to eat in a cafe above the beach, I won't say more, just go. all our best, Jonnie&Zohra

When I moved to Greece my family and I had always dreamt of owning a villa by the sea. I came across an ad for Anemoni, and within a week had flown out to view it. Even in mid November in torrential rain I knew this was the place. We hope you get to enjoy its fantastic views ,and peaceful location as much as we have over the years. Within easy walking distance of the beach, tavernas and market whilst at the same time far from the madding crowd, it really is a privilege being here.

With its location Anemoni really is blessed, with protected forestry behind it, and to the right.
Lovely uninterrupted sea views in front and mountains to the left. Anemoni enjoys a level of privacy not many villas can match. Yet a short walk of 800 metres down the hill provides all that one requires for a relaxing holiday.Tavernas ,supermarkets ,bars ,boat hire ,and of course beaches and plenty of sun!
