Großartiger Platz für einen Kurzurlaub für bis zu 6 Personen!

Der Raum:
Das Haus wurde kürzlich aktualisiert. Die Küche und das untere Badezimmer wurden renoviert und modernisiert, es gibt zentrale Klimaanlage und Heizung im ganzen Haus mit einer zusätzlichen Schrankwand und Fußbodenheizung im Schlafzimmer für zusätzliche Kühlung / Heizung. Es gibt neue Vinyl-Dielenboden in der unteren Ebene und neue Teppiche in allen Schlafzimmern (alle im Oktober 2015 installiert). Neben der Zentralheizung, gibt es auch einen Kamin für eine gemütliche Nacht in. 4. 5 Quart programmierbaren Topf für Ihre Bequemlichkeit.

2 Queensize-Betten und ein Einzelbett mit einem ausziehbaren Einzelbett.

Wickeln Sie um Deck mit Blick auf das Waldgebiet mit einem Gasgrill. Tische und Stühle für 6 zum Aushängen und / oder genießen Sie eine Mahlzeit auf dem Deck.

Auf 4 Flachbildschirmen kann über xbox / roku / AmazonFire gestreamt werden (Gäste loggen sich mit ihren eigenen Accounts ein). Kabel-TV-Zugang am Haupt-TV im Wohnzimmer. Mehrere DVDs und Brettspiele sind ebenfalls vorhanden.

Gastzugang:
Die Gäste haben Zugang zum gesamten Haus (Hauptgeschoss und oberes Schlafzimmer / Bad). Sowie Bereitstellung von WLAN und AmazonFire / Roku / Xbox für Netflix / Streaming. Kabelfernsehen steht im Wohnzimmer auf dem Haupt-TV zur Verfügung. Es wird Holz für den Kamin geben.

Die Nachbarschaft:
Ruhige Nachbarschaft. Sehr häufig sieht man Hirsche und andere Wildtiere durch die Wälder rund um das Haus spazieren.

Rumkommen:
Dieses Chalet ist eine Meile von Tür zu Tür der Skihütte. Begehbar, allerdings gibt es keine Straßenbeleuchtung bei Nacht. Empfehlen Sie 4WD, wenn es kürzlich geschneit hat. Die Straßen sind durch das Resort gepflügt, aber aufgrund einiger der hügeligen Gelände in der Gegend, kann 4WD praktisch sein. Chalet ist ca. 1 2 Meilen zum Lake Laura.

Es gibt ein Lebensmittelgeschäft (Food Lion) in Mt. Jackson über die Interstate 81, die ca. 15-20 Minuten vom Resort entfernt ist. Einmal in Basye, gibt es einen lokalen Supermarkt / Tankstelle, die eine kleine Auswahl von ein bisschen von allem hat (Grundlebensmittelgeschäft, Getränke, Tiefkühlpizza, Toilettenartikel, etc.). Das Resort verfügt über ein Restaurant in der Lodge und es gibt ein weiteres Restaurant im Diner-Stil, das Hot Plate, auf der rechten Seite, wenn Sie den Supermarkt auf dem Weg nach Orkney Springs passieren.

Andere Dinge zu beachten:
Parkplatz - Kies-Einfahrt am Haus. 3-4 Autos können problemlos passen.

Hausregeln:
Nichtraucher im Haus, keine Feuer im Freien sind erlaubt je nach Resort-Politik und bewaldete Natur des Resorts, keine Partys. Muss 21+ zu mieten sein.

Haustiere sind möglich, müssen aber vor der Buchung besprochen und Details vereinbart werden. $ 50 Gebühr pro Haustier, wenn genehmigt.

Mountain of Fun!

My family and I stayed for the weekend. We brought our dog. The check in at 1:00pm was nice so we had extra time to spend at the chalet. We enjoyed the quietness and peacefulness. The extra touches were nice and cozy. Restaurants and a food lion not too far We highly recommend!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend

We stayed at the property to attend a destination wedding being held at Bryce Resort. It was a lovely cabin and a perfect location. Very close to the venue and to golf at the resort. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Definitely recommend!

Cozy and comfortable

This was our second stay at Sara's house and we had just as a good experience as we did the first time. The house is a perfect size for our family of 5 and Sara was very flexible with check-in/check-out and our request for our pup to come. She was very responsive. The property is located in Bryce Resort and was just a quick ride to and from. Perfect for anytime stay.

Great mountain/Woods Cabin/Location

If you are looking for a quiet place in the woods this is your place. Lots of hiking places to visit. For leisure bike ride, go to the Seven Bends State Park. If you do mountain biking, then head to the Bryce Resort. For a relaxing time, good food and a great beer go to Swover Creek Farms Brewery. We enjoyed this house with all the amenities and confort. We recommend this property.

Great stay

Was a perfect place for us (5) to stay. The house was clean and well appointed. TVs worked great in guest mode. The setting was nice and sitting on the back porch in the mornings and evenings was great. The kitchen had everything needed (I would add a dish rack but that is pretty picky!). We stayed for six days and did a lot in the area but going back to the house was always nice. Thanks!

Based on prior 5 star reviews, our family was excited to spend the weekend at this property. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was the coco and rubber mat at the entrance of the deck that was completely rotten and should have been removed/replaced a few years ago. Opened the door of the cottage, and an overwhelming odor was immediately noticed. Best I can describe it is that it smelled like someone cooked 5lbs of bacon in the kitchen half an hour before we arrived. Immediately started opening windows, and the sliding glass doors. The glass doors were extremely difficult to open - the tracks were filthy, and one screen door was propped up against the outside of the house. My husband was able to at least get the screen door back on its track, but it was unusable. Went upstairs to the master bedroom, and thankfully the beds weren't made, otherwise I wouldn't have seen how disgusting a few of the bed pillows were. They need to be tossed with the outdoor mat! Luckily, the downstairs queen bed had some decent pillows in pillow shams, so I swapped them out. Bath mats in master bath either weren't laundered in some time, or they too were past their life cycle. There was one towel in the upstairs bath, so I went downstairs to look for additional towels. There are 6 bath towels in the entire house, and zero hand towels. There was a metal spring imbedded in the 'bath mat' in the downstairs bathroom (it was a indoor entrance mat) and it had debris on it as well. The hosts must allow dogs, because the living room rug has a few urine stains on it. The sofa frame was broken, and the cushions were stained. Kitchen has everything needed for cooking. Made eggs Sunday morning, and found salt in the cabinet above the stove. Also found crumbs and sticky cooking oil on the shelf. It was so gross I pulled everything out of the cabinet and scrubbed it down because I was certain no one else was ever going to do it. Also swept up a plethora of fallen catkins off the deck. Oh -that cooked bacon smell - it never went away! Lighting matches didnt even help. Whoever is being paid to clean this place needs to be fired. The house is in a lovely location, and with minimal effort (along with replacing some items) it could really be a 5 star destination.

A well equipped chalet in the woods

Stayed for two weeks from 23rd April and really enjoyed both the chalet and the area around Basye. This home is well equipped with all the items you need for your stay. Full of light through large windows it was a pleasure watching the birds in the mornings. The attention to detail here is worthy of note.

The best little chalet on the mountain!

We have stayed a lot of places at Bryce Resort and this by far surpasses all of them! The home is cozy with beautiful updates in the bathrooms and kitchen it has a wide open floor plan with a beautiful view on the deck! We are booking it again for June for a fun summer getaway at Lake Laura! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay we can’t wait to come back!

Great time, great place.

Amazing location and very comfortable home! The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and pretty. The couch has a bad cushion or something on the end by the sliding doors, but that was the only issue and it was easy enough to avoid since there were only two of us. I accidentally left my glasses behind and the owners shipped them to me quickly and without complaint. I appreciated the outdoor seating options and especially the chairs by the fire pit. There were clear instructions re: care of fire pit as well as plenty of firewood available. Great time, great place:). Thank you for sharing your home!
