Das Dairy House ist ein wunderschönes, weitläufiges, freistehendes viktorianisches Haus, das nur eine Minute vom Ufer des Hafens von Portsmouth mit Blick auf das Wasser von der großen Lounge und 2 der 7 Schlafzimmer liegt. In der südlichen Küstenstadt Gosport, Hampshire mit 3 nahe gelegenen Stränden gelegen, ist das Haus nur 1 Minute vom Hafen von Portsmouth Harbour entfernt und 4 Minuten mit der Fähre nach Portsmouth und Gunwharf Quays mit über 90 Designer-Geschäften, 30 Restaurants / Cafés / Bars, ein Kino, eine Bowlingbahn, ein Comedy Club, ein Casino, ein Nachtclub und der Spinnaker Tower, Großbritanniens zweithöchstes öffentlich zugängliches Gebäude.

Jedes der 7 Schlafzimmer verfügt über hochwertige Kingsize-Doppelbetten, die sich trennen können, um 2 Einzelbetten zu schaffen und sind mit frischer weißer Baumwollbettwäsche und frischen weißen Handtüchern für jeden Gast ausgestattet. 2 der Schlafzimmer sind "Familienzimmer", die eine 3. und 4. Person sowie die 3 großen Sofas in der Lounge schlafen können, um zusätzliche Betten für zusätzliche Gäste zu machen, falls erforderlich. Für Gäste mit eingeschränkter Mobilität stehen im Erdgeschoss 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Duschbad zur Verfügung.

Die 5 hochwertigen Bäder sind alle mit hochwertigen Duschen ausgestattet und das Hauptbad im 1. Stock ist mit einer luxuriösen Eckbadewanne (komplett mit Riesenente) ausgestattet!

Die Küche ist mit allem notwendigen Komfort ausgestattet, einem großen Gasherd, einer Waschmaschine, einem Geschirrspüler, einem amerikanischen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach und vielem mehr. Es gibt sogar einen zweiten Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach.

Der angrenzende Speisesaal beherbergt einen herrlichen 16-Sitzer Esstisch aus Eichenholz mit 16 passenden Leder-Stühlen mit hoher Rückenlehne sowie einen kleineren Übertisch und 4 Stühle für 20 Personen.

Die Lounge bietet Platz für bis zu 20 Personen mit einem Fernglas vor dem großen Panoramafenster, um das Geschehen im Hafen und dahinter den Portsdown Hill zu sehen.

Darüber hinaus verfügt die Unterkunft über ein super Spaß Spielzimmer mit einem Billardtisch, Tischtennisplatte, einem 50 "TV und Wii sowie viele Spiele für Jung und Alt amüsiert.

Schließlich gibt es den Wintergarten neben dem Ess-und Spielzimmer, wo es schön ist, mit Ihrem morgendlichen Tee und Toast zu entkommen und genießen Sie die erste der Morgensonne.

Das Dairy House akzeptiert nur "Familiengruppen" bestehend aus Erwachsenen und Kindern während der Monate April - September und Neujahr. Wenn Sie jedoch von April bis September eine Erwachsenengruppe sind, können wir Ihnen unsere anderen Unterkünfte empfehlen - Stoke Villas (Eintragsnummer: 288109) oder The Gallery (Eintragsnummer: 77831), die nicht den gleichen Einschränkungen unterliegen.

Unsere Preise sind für bis zu 16 Personen, aber wir können 2/4 mehr Personen in den Zimmern auf John Lewis-Betten oder Futon-Stil Bettwürfel unterbringen und wir haben 3 Doppelbett Sofas in der Lounge mit den zusätzlichen Gästen über 16 berechnet wird eine Rate von £ 25 pro Woche / Teil Woche pro Kopf oder wir verlangen £ 25 pro Satz von zusätzlichen Bettwäsche angefordert.

Alle Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind vorhanden und werden wöchentlich gewechselt, mit einer Mitte der Woche Reinigungsservice auf Anfrage erhältlich. Kinderbetten, Hochstühle und Treppen sind ebenfalls ohne zusätzliche Kosten verfügbar. (Bitte bringen Sie bitte Ihre eigenen Kinderbetten mit)

Family break

The property met all our needs. There were downstairs bedrooms for grandparents, an excellent games room for the children and adults, an extra long dining table so we could all eat together an lovely garden. It was very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Location was good, very close to supermarkets and walking distance to harbour. Parking for 4 cars. We had good communication and were clear of the process. We were met by Steve at the property who showed us around. A very enjoyable stayeverythingneededeverythneeded.

Family Weekend

We really enjoyed this property and had a fantastic weekend despite the weather. The property is very comfortable and really well equipped with everything you could need. The facilties are fantastic, layout of the property is great and the pool table was a real bonus for the kids! Communication with the owner and management company was really straightforward and reassuring. This property has a real feel of quality and we found it perfect for a weekends stay.

fantastic house for a large group

very well laid out for large groups with enough room for everyone to spread out. we made full use of the dining room and games room, and lovely view from the upstairs sitting room. All the bedrooms are spacious, and plenty of bathrooms and showers to go round.

Lovely clean welcoming holiday house

Our stay included 11 adults (2 with mobility issues) and 6 children (including 2 babies). The house was perfect, spacious inside and out with all the facilities we needed and more. Ken and his team were excellent in ensuring our booking and check in/out was all managed well and provided advice on nearby services we needed. The cleanliness of the home was excellent it’s clear the home has been well looked after. We walked to the local pub Jolly Rodger which was nice and on our last day learned about more bars etc we could have visited within a short walking distance. One evening we ate at Fratellis which we absolutely recommend and really enjoyed. We took a day trip to Portsmouth and another day trip to the Isle of Wight which was beautiful. The only concern we had was the rude next door neighbour. The description on vrbo didn’t provide details about the house being in residential area and their being a noise policy. Being on holiday and weather beautiful we would sit outside in the garden. On our first evening the neighbour shouted at us to go to bed (at10pm)complaining about the noise (us sitting in the garden talking) telling us we were going to be “kicked out the following morning”. He then phoned Ken. Given the reminders around the house about noise levels and warnings of charges payable should Ken be called out due to noise, we have no doubt this neighbour is most likely unhappy living next to a holiday home and complains frequently. He certainly made us feel like naughty school kids not grown adults on a family holiday. The issue was dealt with and no more complaints made (as far as we were aware) but it did put a dampener on first evening. Overall we would certainly recommend for a family holiday but we won’t be staying at this property again due to the neighbour and noise policy.

Short break at beautiful property

We recently stayed Mon-Fri at this property in Gosport. It is a large seven bedroom, 5 bathroom house. The house has 2 bedrooms on the first floor with a separate shower room, 4 bedrooms on the middle floor, of which 2 are ensuite, and also separate shower room and bathroom. Then a large attic room with two beds. We stayed as two families as a party of 8, all over 18. It was so lovely for the kids (young adults) to have a room each and a perfect space. The games room was an amazing space with a pool table, which converted into a table tennis table. There was also a nintendo wii, which we hadn't played for years, but was a nice touch! Lots of fun had by everyone. The large sitting room was on the first floor and was a lovely room, very light and airy with a view over the boats in the harbour. Also a large garden with two separate seating areas to catch the sun at different times of the day. The kitchen was slightly smaller in respect of the size of the house, but had everything that we needed. There was a large american style fridge freezer in the kitchen and also another freezer out in the shed area, so more than enough room to store all food/drinks that we needed. Amazingly clean all the way through, no concerns at all about hygiene. The location in Gosport was great, just a few minutes walk from two local pubs. The Jolly Roger was great, we attended a quiz night there, and won! and also had a meal there another evening, it's a perfect local pub. Would thoroughly recommend for families of all ages.

Fantastic family weekend

Lovely property, very homely feel, extremely well equipped. Loved the games room and all of the games provided. Lots of fridge/freezer space and a real bonus having the shed with extra cold storage. Nice walk down to the sea front. The ferry to GunWharf was great and quick also easy to get to. The staff and communication was brilliant, from the initial booking, confirmation of bed arrangements to meeting Ken at the house.

An excellent property

We rented this property for our Golden Wedding weekend celebration with friends and family. It was spacious, comfortable and well maintained. The games room meant that the younger members of the family were well entertained whilst the more ‘sedate’ friends and family could enjoy conversations without interruption! Great house for a large group

Extremely well-equipped, versatile & comfortable large house in a good location. Plenty of room & spacious enough to keep our group (ages 3 to 91) entertained even in winter. On a quiet street but just a few steps to waterfront & pubs. Easy access to Portsmouth on the ferry & numerous attractions within a short drive. Kitchen incredibly well-equipped with plenty of fridge/freezer space. Would definitely recommend.

Great house for celebrations!

The whole rental process was very simple and organised. Met by Ken at the property and shown the facilities and security. Absolutely spotless, very well furnished, the games room was well used! We was a Company of 6 adults and we was very pleased with Our visit in Gosport and in The Dairy House, good position, close to Pubs and Restaurants a little bit away from "Supermarkets", It was very clean and nice house, with all You can whish for. we hired the Dairy House for 18 of us for a family birthday celebration, weather was great so we utilised the outdoor BBQ a lot and ate outdoors mostly. Lovely clean rooms and great for the kids with the games room and conservatory. None of them could beat me at wi tennis which I was rather pleased with! Plenty of crockery and cutlery and cooking pots and pans etc and everything has been thought about. I'd say you would have to be very well organised to knock out a lot of meals as the kitchen is not huge but theres plenty of fridge capacity for food and drink. Overall everyone loved it and for a large group the location is good close to pubs and short ferry ride to Portsmouth harbour

Perfect property for a family holiday

We had a fantastic family holiday. This property was perfect for our party of 5 week old to 86 year old. There was plenty of space for everyone and it is very well equipped. Excellent House for large groups

The property was great, perfect for large groups. The only thing that felt cramped at times was the kitchen, everything else was spacious and never felt crowded for our 17 strong group. Good provision of pots/pans, cooking implements and plenty of drinking implements! The actual area felt a little run down but it was lovely to be walking distance to the coast and close to amenities. Providing the local walking maps was great and information in the folder was great. Fabulous to have the table tennis and pool table as well as a few board games for younger ones too was a bonus. Saved on car space to be offered a travel cot and an amazingly clean highchair too. A little frustrating that HomeAway didn’t have the correct price, despite the owners telling them repeatedly. Very easy to book and great communication, all very easy. Easy form to fill out providing information on our stay.

Perfect accommodation for family reunions

The house exceeded all our expectations. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The Christmas tree and decorations gave us a warm welcome and the owner Ken, couldn’t have been more a abligeing. The games rom was a hit with the children and adults. Local pubs in close proximity and ideally situated for Gunwharf where ther were excellent restaurants, shopping and entertainment. 10 thumbs up.

This has been our third visit to this property. We have always been delighted, not easy to achieve being a family of 15 aged from 7 to 77. We particularly enjoyed the short walk along the road to see the new Aircraft Carrier. Fort Brockworth was also only a short walk away and was enjoyed by everyone.

A very well equipped property - we loved our stay!

Thank you we much enjoyed our stay in this interesting house. It was obvious the house was very well equiped for large numbers even though we did not need to use everything. The bedrooms were very nice with lovely good quality beds and crispy white sheets and towels - and plenty of them! The games room at the back leading on to the garden was also a great success for us The owner welcomed us and showed us around even though we arrived well after schedule on the Friday evening. We were all in all very impressed by the information given both before our arrival and during our stay.
