Ruhiges Wohngebiet nahe Bars, Geschäften & Restaurants des Dorfes Carvoeiro und doch nur 2 Gehminuten von den unfassbar schönen Algar Seco Klippen und Naturpfaden. Ein 10 Min-Spaziergang entlang der Küstenstraße führt Sie runter zum Dorfplatz zum beliebten Strand Praia do Carvoeiro. Grundstück hat 2 komplette SZ & ein kleineres SZ sowie ein modernes offenes WZ und modernen Einrichtungen. Küche hat jeden Komfort und ist speziell für die Gäste angefertigt mit Steinarbeitsfläche. BZ hat ein Hydrobad und eine Art Regen Dusche. Weitere Möbel vorhanden, so wie ein tief gelegenes Waschbecken und moderne Spotlampen. Haupt-SZ hat ein schönes Kingsize-Bett und große Doppel-Terrassentüren, die direkt zum Whirlpool-Bereich führen. Our stay at the villa was a really great experience, mark and Roger were really helpful with assisting with every inquiry we had. The villa is really in a great location in Carvoeiro with restaurants & shops just a walking distance away. And also really has a amazing view of the sea from the top

Terrible experience

Villa was filthy dirty on arrival, no beds made up, bathroom and kitchen where unhygienic. Floors where sticky when u walked on them Meet and greet guy, turned up drunk! Villa smelt of sewage, had to leave all windows open. One day we had no water to the villa. Hot tub temperature did not work. Major roadworks outside the villa, so from 8am to 6pm, all we could hear was dump trucks and diggers...the noise was terrible, so had to leave the villa each morning. Terrible experience, i will be contacting the owner about getting a refund for the villa. Any help from you would be greatly appreciated

Auszeit genießen

Schönes Haus mit allem was man benötigt. Herrlicher Meerblick. Am besten war der Jacuzzi. Wir waren jeden Tag mindestens 30 Minuten drinnen (32 Grad). Super war auch der Kamin. Zum Wanderweg an den Klippen sind es gerade mal 3 Minuten. Zum Italiener 2 Minuten. Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer. Zum einkaufen sind wir zum Intermache am Ortseingang. Da gibt es auch Holz und Anzünder. Holz 10 Kg kosten 5 Euro. Vielen Dank auch an Roger und Mark. Waren für Rückfragen immer erreichbar. Alles wie beschrieben. Wir kommen wenn möglich nächstes Jahr wieder.

Tolles Haus

Der check in war super,netter Empfang,genaue Erklärung vom Haus. Das Haus liegt optimal,super nah am Meer und den vielen Restaurants u Geschäften,aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Der whirlpool ist auch eine coole Sache,leider viel die Heizung die letzten beide Tage aus. Küche ist voll ausgestattet und es fehlte an nichts. An der Sauberkeit könnte noch gearbeitet werden,auch kleinere Reparaturen und Erneuerungen würden dem Haus gut tun. Ich kann das Haus mit 5 Sternen weiterempfehlen. Sehr gutes Ferienhaus für perfekten Urlaub!

Das Ferienhaus bietet alles, was man für einen schönen Urlaub in Carvoeiro braucht, inklusive Blick aufs Meer von der Terasse aus. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, nicht zu nah am Zentrum, dennoch alles rasch fußläufig erreichbar. Hervorzuheben ist Roger, der Besitzer des Hauses, der praktisch immer etreichbar ist und Anfragen fast umgehend beantwortet. Wir würden jederzeit erneut das Haus buchen@

Bon Séjour

Nous avons passé un bon séjour, villa très bien placée. Carvoeiro est une ville avec énormement de restaurants/bars et magasins, la plage est superbe. Grande villa avec tout ce qu'il faut, Mark le manager est très gentil est à l'écoute. Le seul point négatif c'est la salle de bain, très mauvaise odeur d'égout très persistante tout au long de la semaine lumière qui marche pas + douche très difficile à regler le chaud et froid. Sinon le reste très bien.

Fantastic venue, fantastic views

The villa was way more than we expected and a great place to spend our holiday, close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The rooftop sunbathing area was great with a lovely view of the sea and we even saw the dolphins swimming by one late afternoon. There was a BBQ for use that we didn't expect and spent many an evening sitting outdoors enjoying beautiful fresh food from the Intermarche (large supermarket approx 3km away). We did have an issue with the temperature of the hot tub but the manager's son came and looked at this for us. My mum has slight mobility issues and had trouble getting in and out of the shower and with the steep pathway into the property so that is something to be aware of for anyone who has any mobility problems. I have seen negative reviews on the site about the villa being damp and smelling of damp, I can imagine if the property is empty for any length of time or during winter months that there would a damp smell with the property as there was a slight smell when we arrived but being so close to the sea this is to be expected and was easily rectified by opening one or more of the wonderful patio doors that give light and a cooling breeze through when it is so hot. You have access to the numerous pools in the Alga Seco complex should you wish to use them with great views of the sea. Arcordeao bar is a nice friendly little bar, great for watching sports of llistening to music and does snacks. O Cantinho restaurant does great food and really friendly staff. Vale de Milho golf is a 20 minute walk away, nice little 9 hole course (a bit hilly), great food and bar run by English family who also run the tennis Clube de Carvoeiro. Wouldn't recommend

We stayed here earlier in the summer and were shocked at the damp state of the property. It has been a beautiful home in the past, but hasn't been maintained or cleaned well and I spent a whole day just cleaning the kitchen and living area. The reason that we needed a 3-bedroom villa was that my husband and I were bringing our toddler and my father-in-law. We were then disappointed and angry when we found that the 3rd bedroom could not be used as the wall and ceiling were both black with damp. When I raised this with the manager Jeanette, she told us as there was only 4 of us staying, 2 bedrooms would be enough for us and we didn't need to use the 3rd. This was reiterated by the owner Roger, who said he definitely wouldn't recommend a toddler, or anyone, sleeping the 3rd bedroom. They were both aware of the damp situation before we arrived, and yet hadn't informed us beforehand. This is not the standard of accommodation, or level of customer service we are used to in Carvoeiro, having holidayed in the village for a number of years, and we were shocked and angry to receive this treatment. I am glad to see that they have now amended the advert to say 2 bedrooms, but I wouldn't recommend staying in this property until they invest more money into the maintenance of the building and manage it better in resort.

Perfect location

Had an amazing stay. Villa was perfectly located with beautiful views. Lovely Portuguese style property and very well equipped. Hot tub was an added bonus. Jeanette the property manager met us as soon as we arrived and showed us round. Lovely easy stress free arrival and departure. Sad to leave.

In need of repair and a good clean

Having booked with Home and Away in Carvoeiro before, I had expected the same standard as previous accommodation. I understand this is naïve as their testing of the sites and I should have paid more attention to the other reviews. The house was not cleaned properly to start with. The kitchen and the drawers smell of damp. For three bedrooms one bathroom really isn't enough if you are sharing with adults rather than children. Everything is in need of an overhaul, update, painting and particularly cleaning. Though the location is good, there is absolutely no privacy as the garden gives onto the parking of the villa rental next door.

Nice location and spacious but needs some attention from the owners

Location is great, quiet street near lots of restaurants, the wonderful coastline and nice short 10/15 minute walk to the town center and main beach. That said we think the owners need to make some changes: - bedroom need curtains for those that get woken by the light. the main and second bedroom have shutters with vents on each row that let in lots of light. The small third bedroom has nothing to stop the light from the street lamp. - cleaning needs improvement. We took a picture of what appears to be the black mould on the dark bathroom tiles. Some of the kitchen cupboards smell a bit mouldy so we felt better leaving food out on the worksurface. When we went up to the roof terrace we found used beer cans and a glass so can only assume the cleaner did not make their way up before our booking. - jacuzzi was never warm enough for us to use. The rooms are good sizes and location great so I hope the owners make a little investment if they plan to keep renting it out. We ourselves own a holiday property in another country and understands there is a balance on investment, but it felt like the property has not had recent care to make it comfortable for guests. If the owners want to contact us I can supply photos of the bathroom tiles and the light in the bedroom with the shutters down.

Ideal Location, nice clean property

Nice villa in a lovely setting

Villa very well appointed, though we never managed to get the hot tub warm enough to use. Very conveniently situated, with plenty of nice restaurants within easy walking distance. Lovely setting. Path down to front door bit steep; worth considering fitting a grabrail?

Bon séjour à Carvoeiro

Nous avons passé un très bon moment à Carvoeiro. C'est une petite ville très chaleureuse et animée. On y trouve d'excellents restaurants. Les sentiers le long des falaises sont à couper le souffle. La maison est bien équipée et bien situé, Nous aurions aimé y retrouver quelques condiments pour la cuisine: sel, poivre, sucre, ...

I am Roger Benou from the UK but holiday in the Algarve where I have come annually for holidays for years. We have enjoyed it tremendously because of the weather, lovely people and relaxed way of life. The local food is fresh and healthy and the outdoor lifestyle has contributed to that too. We love swimming in the sea in summer and relaxing on the white beaches. We have 2 small children and feel relaxed in this area as it is quite safe. The community look out for each other and everyone is ready with a smile and a hello!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

This villa was bought by my parents in 1975 when Carvoeiro was just a rural fishing village. Since then Carvoeiro has become a lovely seaside town with a wonderful mix of locals and tourists. The various sea views, cliff formations breathtaking cliff tops and boat trips are a very few minutes walk away! The scuba diving possibles are amazing. Fishing off the cliffs is 5 min walk away. The view from the villa roof is spectacular. As with the town, the original villa has been changed. Modern amenities and comfortable open plan spaces with huge glass sliding doors letting the light flood in. At night the night sky filled with stars is glorious to behold from the bedroom or lounge. The jacuzzi we had put in 5 years ago and is glorious to relax in and enjoy the sun or the stars. It is private and quiet and yet a 5 minute walk to the cluster of fabulous restaurants in Algar Seco or the coastal walk along the wooden boardwalk along the cliff tops down to the town square and the heart of the town. The villa and its location are top class.

It is quiet and private yet close to the town and the life of the town. The villa is amazing. The beds are comfortable. The jacuzzi has a booster function which has therapeutic effects. The villa is close to the cliff top boardwalk, best viewing spots, beaches and children's playground. Carvoeiro is central to all the must see places like Silves, Monchique, Portimao, Villa Moura. Activities like water parks, golf courses, tennis club, eco tourism and diving schools are close by.
