Ein schönes, geräumiges Apartment auf der 3. Etage mit einem Schlafzimmer in Marina Village, direkt am Wasser im Herzen des historischen Olhao. Dieses moderne, neu eingerichtete, klimatisierte Apartment verfügt über einen großen Balkon, auf dem Sie sitzen und den atemberaubenden, freien Blick auf das Meer und das Naturschutzgebiet Ria Formosa genießen können. Auf dem Dach befindet sich ein Pool, von dem Sie einen 360-Grad-Blick über die Stadt Olhao, den Yachthafen und hinüber zu den Sandsteininseln Armona und Culatra mit ihren wunderschönen weißen Sandstränden genießen können. Diese Ihlas erreichen Sie bequem mit den Fähren, die vom Kai, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt, entlang der schönen, gepflasterten Promenade führen. Eine Vielzahl von Restaurants, Geschäften und Bars finden Sie entlang der Uferpromenade und in den verwinkelten, gepflasterten Seitenstraßen, die alle zu Fuß erreichbar sind. In Olhao gibt es einen täglichen Markt, auf dem Sie frisch gefangenen Fisch und Meeresfrüchte sowie Obst und Gemüse aus der Region kaufen können.

Amazing apartment and stay

We stayed 9 nights the apartment was perfect it had everything you needed and more chairs for beach etc. parking right outside the apartment. The location is perfect short walk to all the bars and restaurants and about 15 minute walk to the water taxis. Highly recommend would definitely stay next time in Olhao

Ideal for us: pleasant view of the salt flats, convenient to market, restaurants, and harbour. There's enough kitchen for a bit of cooking at home, Olhão is a short drive from neighbouring towns/attractions. Recommended.

Comfortable and familiar

We enjoyed staying at this property, it was very comfortable and in a great location. The views from the balcony were beautiful, as was the area nearby. A very short walk to an amazing market and many great restaurants. We will return!

Excellent property

Good location, excellent amenities, great views from the balcony. The apartment was very comfortable, large lounge and bedroom with comfortable beds. Air conditioning was very useful during the hot spell. All communication between Julia and Stephan was good. Conveniently situated for all local bars, restaurants, shops and marina.

Excellent location and easy access

Views over the salt pans and west to Faro give a lovely evening view. Clean, modern and all facilities good. Lift makes access very easy, with parking below. Bedding not so good, needs updating and better pillows. Overall though, excellent.

Perfect apartment

We were very happy with this apartment. Comfortable, clean and it had everything you need throughout your holiday( even a shopping trolley and bags for shopping) Wonderful views from the balcony over the saltflats with storks, pink flamingos and other birds. (Binoculars provided for closer look) The pool on the roof also has wonderful views over the surrounding area and plenty of sun beds to sit and relax. We love Olhao with the many bars and restaurants available. We really enjoyed the new Marina Village centre just a short stroll from the apartment. Cocktail bars, restaurants and live entertainment right on the door step! We hope to return to this great apartment soon.

Enjoyed Olhao. Apartment large and in good position. Lovely balcony. Short walk to the marina, bars and restaurants. Restaurants are plentiful. Lots of small restaurants dotted around the little streets beyond the marina. 3 supermarkets within walking distance. Shopping trolley provided which is handy. The train is definitely worth using. Remember to use bus pass or proof of age to get discount if eligible. You can also buy tickets on the train. Worth taking a day trip to ayamonte in spain which is a must . Ferry terminal is a very close to the centre so no long trecks. Train to vila real san antonio and a short walk to the ferry for a very short hop across the river. Buy ferry ticket from the booth opposite the ferry. Looking forward to visiting again and would definitely book this apartment again.

Um bom alojamento numa zona muito sossegada. Pena não haver ar condicionado na cozinha e corredor (pois acaba por ser demasiado calor). Mas no entanto deu para relaxar muito bem. Conforto muito bom.

We live in North Wales and first holidayed in the Eastern Algarve in 2007. We love it here, with the relaxing pace of life, the friendly people, the beautiful beaches and the all-year-round sun. The flight to Faro is only two and a half hours for us, and then from the airport it's a 15 minute drive to Olhao. If we catch an 8.00 am flight we can be here by lunchtime. When we had the chance to buy this lovely waterfront apartment here, with such a stunning view of the ocean and nature reserve, we couldn’t resist it.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We consider this area of the Algarve to be largely unspoilt by tourism. Although Olhao is a tourist destination it retains its charm as it is still very much a traditional Portuguese fishing town. The restaurants here have lovely, fresh food and wine at very reasonable prices, whereas many other holiday destinations have become expensive, especially to eat out. We love taking the ferry to the sandspit islands of Armona or Culatra; it is like stepping back in time, wandering past the pretty beach houses that line the paths to the beautiful white sandy beaches. There are no cars there and the beaches are never crowded, even in high season. The countryside inland is beautiful and we have spent many days exploring the various tiny hilltop villages where time seems to have stood still.

All the restaurants, cafe-bars, shops, markets and banks are within a short walk of the apartment, yet at the same time, it is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main street in Olhao, so you have the best of both worlds.

You can chill out on the balcony, or in the rooftop pool after a day of sightseeing. The fact that only a few of the apartments in the building have access to this pool is definitely a bonus. The views and sunsets from our balcony are breathtaking; the only downside is having to tear ourselves away from the view when it is time to return home to the UK. After all, there are not many places you get the chance to see pink flamingoes whilst you are eating your breakfast..
