Simply the best

Well to be honest I dont know where to start. Michelle welcomed us with open arms and provided with some snacks and fruits in the accomandation. She gave us a lot of advises what to see or where to go, we could easily ask her any questions. The apartment was perfect - very clean, modern with a great terrace and a stunning view. You could find everything you need to cook or just making a quick breakfast. 5 stars are not enough to describe the time we had in Montenegro and in the accomadation. We really recommend it!

Die beste Gastgeberin die wir jemals hatten!

Die Lage ist optimal, 15 Autominuten vom Flughafen, der Blick auf die Bucht und die Altstadt von Kotor ist beeindruckend. Das Apartment großzügig geschnitten, die Terrasse bietet reichlich Platz, der Pool ist groß genug und es mangelt an nichts! Da haben wir eine optimale Wahl getroffen. Das Ganze wird aber von der Freundlichkeit und der Hilsbereitschaft von Michelle getoppt, sie hat uns alle Wünsche erfüllt und Tipps gegeben und damit sehr viel dazu beigetragen, dass der Urlaub zu einem unvergesslich Erlebnis wurde! DANKE

Beautiful Stay Near Kotor

Michelle’s apartment is in a beautiful location just a short walk from Kotor old town. Michelle greeted us at the door after giving very clear instructions on how to get there and where to park. The apartment was amazing, clean, spacious and full of everything we needed and more. The pool is just outside the door and the sea just down the steps. The home is very well stocked and packed with extras to make you feel welcome and at home. Michelle gave us plenty of advice and help to make our trip unforgettable. We would never stay anywhere else when we come again. The best VRBO we have ever stayed in.

Fabulous villa, host and location

Just come back from a great week in Montenegro. The villa was just as described and the location was perfect. Central for exploring Montenegro and the activities it offers. Kotor old town had numerous excellent restaurants and shops to mooch round and was only about 10-15mins walk from the accommodation. But the thing that stands out from other places we have stayed is the host, Michelle, her attention to detail and care she shows went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable holiday - thank you Michelle.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The accommodation is absolutely spotless and so so lovely. The pictures don’t do it justice. We used the paddle boards and kayaks every day, they were just fab! Michi went over and above for us leaving us some snacks and essentials and checking in to ensure we were happy with everything and was always there to offer advice. Fantastic!

We had a wonderful family holiday in beautiful Montenegro. The apartment exceeded all expectations, it is spacious and has everything you would ever need including very comfy beds! The outside space and pool were amazing with the most beautiful views we have ever experienced. Michelle is such a lovely host, nothing was too much trouble, we never needed to ask anything as she was always one step ahead! One of the kindest most generous people we have had the pleasure to meet. The apartment is in a great location and only a 10 minute walk into the old town. The children loved using the paddle boards and exploring the local area. We were all sad to leave and can’t wait to return!

Fantastic holiday in Kotor

We would 100% recommend staying at this wonderful apartment in Kotor. We were stunned by everything from when we arrived to when we left. The accommodation has everything you need while on holiday, excellent cleanliness and the welcome pack was great especially after a long day travelling. The views from the apartment are breathtaking from watching life go in the morning, the cruise ships, speedboats whizzing by, and the night lights of the old town. Kotor old town is around 20 mins walk, supermarket is 15 minutes, bakery 10 minutes. Waterfront is literally seconds away and we all enjoyed swimming and use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The pool was an added bonus and our girls loved playing in there late into the evening. Many restaurants, cafes and bars so much choice when eating out. Michelle was the best host and has a vast knowledge of the area and beyond. The apartment ticked all boxes and our holiday was made all the more amazing by Michelle and all of the thought she has put into visiting her lovely home. Go find some fun in Kotor and beyond, it truly has something for everyone.

Simply stunning

We have just returned from an amazing 10 night stay in this stunning accommodation. Every morning was a “pinch me moment” sitting with a coffee, taking in the stunning view of Kotor bay, watching the cruise ships sail in. The accommodation is very spacious and was spotlessly clean. We were a party of 2 adults and a 17 year old. Our other daughter joined us for a few nights and the accommodation was spacious enough for us all. The pool was a god send due to the very high temperatures Montenegro was experiencing at the time of our stay. We took full advantage of the Kayaks and paddle boards, the sea is just across from the apartment and we were even lucky enough to spot some dolphins. We arrived to a fully stocked fridge which we were grateful of, especially arriving on a Sunday when all supermarkets are closed. Michelle is probably the most amazing host we’ve ever had. Nothing was too much trouble and we have made a friend for life. Our daughter had a cancelled flight home and Michelle was so helpful with airport runs. Kotor it’s self is beautiful. It takes about 15/20 minutes to walk to the old town, where we spent evenings wandering around the pretty streets and sampling the local cuisine. I can’t recommend this property enough.

Another great stay

It is the second time that I have stayed in this lovely apartment. The view from the apartment and spacious outdoor seating area is spectacular.It was lovely sitting outside and looking at the view across the water.The lovely old town of Kotor is a 10-15 minute walk away with lots of restaurants and bars and beautiful old buildings. We spent lots of time on the paddleboards and kyaks provided (thank you). We did the "ladder walk" next to the old town which we really enjoyed. Perast and Budva are near for visiting and the cable car provided amazing views. Michelle is the best host I have encountered and is thoughtful and generous both with her time and what she provides within the apartment.

Absolutely Perfect!

We travelled as a party of four to explore Monty for the first time. We wanted to be walking distance from Kotor and this ticked the box. The apartment is in a beautiful location and is wonderful. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need, spotlessly clean with a wonderful balcony and small pool that were used throughout the whole stay as the temperatures hit 35C. As mentioned in many reviews the host Michelle has thought of everything with lovely touches such as the ample welcome pack, shampoo and soap provided, great hairdryer and the litre bottle of Rose wine on arrival. I would highly recommend the property.Thank you Michelle, Matt and family for making us so welcome.

My Happy Place

We enjoyed a previous stay here so much we had to return, and will certainly return again. Personally, I have been traveling for business and pleasure for more than 20 years and after staying in countless hotels, hostels and vrbos, I will say without hesitation that Michelle and her family are the best hosts I have encountered. Communications were effortless, clear and friendly. We arrived during a holiday when shops are closed, and were pleasantly surprised to find our kitchen fully stocked with food and drink for days. We took kayaks out onto the bay, and enjoyed hiking, shopping and exploring and ultimately fell in love with Kotor. Will be back for sure. Highly recommend.

Incredible place with an amazing host!

Great location, easy walk from the old town but with a view of Kotor, which is especially beautiful at night. The host is fantastic, with loads of local knowledge. Breathtaking views and unforgettable experience.

My husband and I have stayed at several VRBO locations throughout the years and this one absolutely tops the list! Waking up each morning to the amazing view and enjoying a cup of coffee on the private terrace was such a treat. To top it off, Michelle is such a warm and gracious host. Spectacular Views of Kotor Bay

We really enjoyed staying in this spectacular apartment which had great outdoor space with pool and fantastic views of the Bay of Kotor. It was an easy walk to Kotor and when we were tired there were plenty of taxis available. The hike up to the Hilltop Kotor Fortress was one of our favourite activities of the week, hard work but worth it for the amazing views!! Our daughter and her friend had great fun using the paddleboards which were available during our stay. Michelle (the host) was very friendly & helpful during our week in Montenegro. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic stay!

Michelle was the most amazing host (she literally thinks of everything) and her house felt like home away from home. But better! The views are breathtaking, the pool is lovely, the whole apartment and setting are just amazing. We had the best time and managed to walk to Kotor Old Town which is also stunning and has such a great variety of restaurants and shops. 10/10 would recommend and will book again!

Excellent property and host goes above and beyond!!

The apartment is wonderful, spotlessly clean and every possible thing you need. A REAL home from home. Michelle and Matt could not do enough for us. The welcome pack!!! Well we lived on most of it for the week we were there and the herb garden :). The view is to die for (apart from all of the Cruise ships but M&M cant do anything about that). We used the Kayaks and paddleboards a few times and was a great break from the loungers and pool. Thank you for making our stay very special.

Lovely stay in Kotor

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. It has a stunning view which we enjoyed either sitting on the terrace with a drink in hand or through the large windows from inside. It is very comfortable with everything that you would need thought of and provided. Michelle is extremely generous, both with her time and with all the little extras that she provides in the apartment. She is hands down the best host I have ever encountered. Kotor is beautiful and we will definitely be coming back again.

Great Property, Awesome Host

The property was amazing. Great location with shops, bars and bakery a 5 minute walk away and Kotor Old Town a 15 minute walk away, even with an 8 year old in tow. The outdoor space was brilliant, plenty of space, nice little pool to dip into when it gets too hot and a view to die for. You can easily spend your time watching dolphins in the bay or lightning displays over the hills. Indoor, it has everything you need with two good size bedrooms and a light open plan living space. Finally, the host. Easy communication from the minute we booked and lovely to deal with while we were on site. Michelle made our daughter feel really welcome and even brought her sweets and colouring pens for when she arrived. We arrived to wine, beer, fruit, breakfast and basics to last us through the week. If returning to Kotor i would even bother looking for anywhere else to stay, id just stay here. Thanks for a fab week

Beautiful Kotor!!!

The place, location and hosts were absolutely fabulous! We had an amazing time! When visiting Kotor it is best to stay at this fabulous place, for the visual of the beauty of Kotor!! It is spectacular!!! We struggled with our arrival due to mother nature and then lost one of our bags upon arrival. Michelle was simply amazing with welcoming me into her home to borrow what I needed....she also took me shopping and filled our frig with the much needed provisions free of charge. Because we arrived 2 nites late, due to the travel challenges, we were reimbursed for our nites not used. Just the most amazing, humble hosts! We have become friends and they even invited us into their main home for a dinner party, which was the best food we ate in Kotor! Michelle and Matthew are amazing chiefs on top of their other most generous personalities! We had a fabulous time!!! We have invited them to visit us for a ski vacation in the Colorado Rockies! Just the most beautiful place and experience that we will never forget!
