Wonderful holiday - perfect!

Having visited Corfu for 40 years, I can honestly say this is the best accommodation I have ever stayed in, and I will definitely book again. The house, pool and garden are immaculate and well-equipped. The pool is big enough to swim 'properly' and the views from the pool terrace are spectacular. Andreas and his family looked after us with great generosity but were also very discreet and unobtrusive when coming in to clean the house or water the garden etc. The garden is stunning at this time of year, and the appearance of different birds and geckos is brilliant. We recommend a car, but there is no need to travel too far - Avlaki and Kerasia beaches are a close drive and both have excellent tavernas. We also recomment Panorama grill - a few minutes drive up into the mountains. Thank you Andreas and Evi for a memorable holiday. We'll be back! 😀

PARADISE

We spent two perfect weeks in this idyllic setting and wished we could have stayed longer! The cottage is immaculately clean with everything you could want provided. The pool area is the real treasure though. A larger than average pool, spotlessly clean, completely private with breath taking views on all sides. The small town of Agios Stephanos is minutes away by car and picture perfect with a few tavernas, boat hire and a small pebbly beach. Andreas and Evi and great hosts, lovely people who will do anything to help you. We look forward to a return visit sometime in the not too distant future I hope.

Just beautiful!

We were in need of a relaxing break and Mistral Cottage provided just that. The cottage and garden are so well maintained by Andreas and Evi, and so clean. The views all round are just spectacular, just what we needed. Andreas also maintains the pool to the highest standard, just beautiful. Lots of butterflies, including swallowtails as previously mentioned, and a friendly lizard in the olive tree where we ate breakfast who proudly shows off his turquoise chin and throat and orange tummy. We would recommend having a car as the roads are steep and windy. Aghios Stephanos is a short drive away, a very pretty village with a couple of shops and several tavernas. Hiring a boat here is a must, there are so many little coves to explore and the swimming is great. Kassiope, another lovely village is also a short drive and has a slightly bigger supermarket. All in all we had an amazing week and would not hesitate to return.

A little gem of a holiday cottage

What a find! Mistral Cottage turned out to be the loveliest place we have stayed in more than 7 years of holidaying on Corfu. Immaculately maintained by it's owners, both inside and out. A generous and thoughtful welcome pack greeted us upon our arrival, plenty of personal touches throughout the cottage made this place a real home from home, with a true Greek flavour. Outside, the garden is so very pretty, full of flowers which attracted numerous butterflies, including, to our delight, the scarce swallowtail! Andreas and his wife, Evi did everything to make our holiday special, they were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The guest book was full of positive comments from visitors over a seven year period, many of whom returned time and again. Just a few minutes drive into Aghios Stephanos and numerous beautiful beaches, we would highly recommend this property and it's sister propert "Maistro Cottage"
