Casa da Florenza ist eine schöne freistehende geräumige Villa auf einer Ebene festgelegten - Der offene Wohn / Esszimmer ist hell und geräumig mit Terrassentüren zu einem nach Süden führende mit Blick auf Terrasse, Garten und 8m x 4m Salzwasser-Pool mit einer guten Auswahl Liegestühle Tische und Stühle und Bänke. Die Küche ist mit hochwertigen Geräten und Utensilien ausgestattet für jeden Bedarf. Führende aus der Küche ist der überdachte Grillplatz und Südterrasse, Garten und Pool. Rund um den Pool und Terrassen ist eine Rasenfläche, Fliesen und die beliebten portugiesischen calsada Fliesen. Es gibt sechs Liegestühle und eine Vielzahl von Tisch und Stühlen für alfresc Essen zusammen mit einem Garten benche. Dies ist kein gewöhnliches Ferienhaus - Das Beste von allem ist für einen schönen erholsamen Urlaub in der Sonne zur Verfügung gestellt. Die drei Schlafzimmer sind hell und luftig. Bewertung Casa da Florenza

Die Betten waren gut, das Haus passte Größen- und raummässig gut.Das Haus/Mobiliar ist leider ziemlich abgewohnt. Die Küchenmöbel waren sowohl außen als auch innen klebrig/dreckig. Die Waschmaschinenverkleidubg fehlte komplett, die angrenzende Front war sehr lose befestigt. Die Stühle und Liegen am Pool waren schadhaft, teilweise kaputt. Der Pool hatte sSchäden innen und in der Pflasterung rundherum. Das haben wir in Portugal in der Preisklasse schon deutlich besser erlebt.

Perfect house for carefree holidays

Nice Villa close to Praia Da Luz

Our family had a great time in this nice villa. The location is great to explore the western part of the Algarve and it is very close to the nice town of Praia Da Luz. The villa is very well equipped and offers a lot of space both inside and outside. Our kids especially enjoyed the large pool in the beautiful garden.

Schönes Haus in guter Lage

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieter war zuverlässig, schnell und sehr freundlich. Auch wenn an der ein oder anderen Stelle die Ausstattung etwas verbessert werden kann, haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Das Haus und der Pool haben eine tolle Größe. Wir können das Objekt empfehlen und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Overall cozy house for vacation in a great location

The house is located in a very nice neighborhood, close enough to the beach to walk in 25-30 minutes. Also some restaurants are around in walking distance. The connection to the highway is close, so you can get easily to other places at the algarve. The house itself has everything you need for a family vacation. The pool and outside area (with a barbecue-area) are very cozy and nice. The only thing we really had to criticize was that the house was not very good cleaned when we arrived from inside and partly outside. Therefore we can give only 4 of 5 stars. However we adressed this issue with Marion and she quickly responded overall in a satisfying manner. If there are any problems, Marion tries to solve them as quick as possible, even though she is not on site herself. I think the problem with the cleanliness of the house up on arrival will be solved in the future. Overall we had a great vacation and we can recommend the house.

Das perfekte Ferienhaus in ruhiger Umgebung

Die Casa Da Florenza ist ein tolles Ferienhaus! Wir waren im Juni zu viert (mit 2 Kindern) und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Marion, die Vermieterin, hat im Vorfeld alles perfekt organisiert. Das Haus, der Garten und der Pool waren genau so wie beschrieben. Viel Platz und Ruhe. Perfekt für eine entspannte Woche an der Algarve, jenseits der großen Hotels. Der Strand von Luz ist in 25-30 min zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto erreicht man viele schöne Strände, auch an der Westküste in max. 30-40 Minuten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder in diesen Teil der Algarve und bestimmt auch wieder in die Casa Da Florenza!

Great space away from the business

We had a wonderful stay and even enjoyed the pool one day despite the weather. We had everything we needed. lots of space and very comfortable. The host was available by phone if we needed anything, which we really didn't. The only hitch we encountered was finding the place. We were missing a house number and also the GPS tended to take us a couple of blocks away. While we were looking for the home we met some great neighbors who helped us out.

Superb Property

This is a lovely villa which the photos do justice to. We enjoyed an excellent stay spending much of our time around the pool which is set in a lovely mature and well maintained garden. If you keep the bedroom shutters closed during the day the rooms stay cool for a great nights sleep. There are no negatives about this villa that we have. Plus the location is great for easy access to Luz and surrounding beaches. One point I would make is that it is set in a residential area so wouldn’t be suitable for people who were keen on partying into the early hours but that was a plus for us. Nice and quiet!

Lovely, well equipped villa in a quiet area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this villa. It was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, it was well equipped and the outside area and gardens were very well maintained. The pool was fabulous and even though it was early May we were able to swim every day. Will definitely be back!

Don’t rent this in the winter

We rented the place for a month, but had to move out after two weeks. The home is not adequately heated and we had no control over the heat. Owner programmed the thermostat to provide a little heat for 2 hours in morning and 2 at night. We could not adjust the thermosrtat. We asked for more heat and were treated dismissively. The ambient temps in Luz were 55-60 degrees (F) and it was cold all the time. We had to buy electric space heaters (which are 220v and useless for us in the US). We are from Minnesota and are used to cold air, but this was ridiculous. The home has a boiler with radiators to provide heat. They use propane tanks that ran out frequently even though we weren’t getting heat. When it ran out the owner blamed us for using too much gas even though we had no control over the thermostat. She told us to make a fire in the fireplace, which only helped a little in the living room. After two weeks, at which time we had again run out of heat as well as hot water, she told us we'd have to pay for any more fuel, we couldn't take it any more and moved out, two weeks early. It was costly, but we had no choice. Hoping to get a partial refund from VRBO, but we'll see. What I do know is we were paying market rates and not getting any heat when we needed it. Never had such an experience in my many years of using VRBO. I would not rent from this owner. Plus there was no clothes dryer, even though they say they have one - it's a clothes line.

Lovely Property near to Luz

This is a lovely well looked after villa. It provides all you need for a very comfortable vacation. The photos in the listing are very accurate representations of what you get. The villa is set in a residential area but is very private. The gardens and pool are in a mature well cared for setting. Ensuring that you can enjoy the sun by the lovely pool. Cannot recommend it enough and will definitely return. Big thanks to Marion, the owner for all her help.

5 días de desconexión.

La entrada y salida se realiza por medio de un pequeño cofre donde se dejan las llaves. No hay contacto con la propietaria ni la ama de llaves (aunque teníamos su número para llamar. La casa está bien equipada y es notablemente moderna. LA piscina es magnífica. No hay aire acondicionado, así que en agosto supongo será demasiado caliente. Está a 25 minutos andando de la playa y a 5 en coche. a finales de Junio apenas había gente y se comía y aparcaba a la primera. En conclusión una estancia perfecta para desconectar.

Pleasant Family Property

The property is a great size and comfortable for a family of up to 6. The pool and garden area is well kept. Unfortunately on arrival the property had not been cleaned from the previous occupants and our first afternoon was quite stressful whilst waiting to find out whether we would need to find other accommodation. Sadly, the advertised cleaning after the first week did not happen either but after chasing, the bed linen and towels were changed on the 9th day out of our 11 night stay.

Lovely house in a great location.

A lovely house in a quiet area. Everything was very clean and house is well equipped. A super family home with a lovely pool. We look forward to returning. We had a few issues with the Vbro site but, Marion herself was very helpful and did everything she could to ensure we had a good holiday.

Really lovely villa and great garden and pool

We have stayed in a number of villas and this was the largest with the nicest outside area and pool we’ve visited. All bedrooms have doors to the garden. All rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. It’s in a quiet neighbourhood to get to the centre of Luz it was a 25 minute walk down hill and a little longer to get back up. We stayed with our children who are 13 and 11.

Amazing T3 family home with garden and pool

Wonderful house in quiet location, with landscaped gardens and pool. Very safe and enclosed. Kitchen very well equipped. Spacious bedrooms and driveway for one car. A short drive to praia da Luz (few min), and lagos (6 km). Excellent really.

9 days in Luz

Property spotless and had everything needed for a family holiday. Pool and outdoor area a massive plus. About a 25 min walk to Luz which was ok but a bit far for younger kids. Villa makes up for distance. Communication with owner very good and everything went smoothly.

Lovely pool

Good location, lots to do in the area, large pool which was used daily, garden is lovely too. Great size property, plenty of room for a family of 5, has everything you need at the property including a barbecue. Communication with owner before staying was brilliant too.

I purchased Casa Da Florenza in September 2007 after searching in both Spain and Portugal. This was my first visit to Portugal and loved Praia da Luz from the beginning. The bungalow was not complete so I was able to put my mark on the property and start the garden from scratch!
I Love it every time I come and have made some good friends. Praia da Luz is a friendly and safe place to be.

The bungalow is open plan, very spacious and was designed by a renowned Lagos Architect. My gardener who comes weekly is passionate on the care of the plants and the appearance of the garden and takes pride in what she achieves, also is very friendly with my visitors.
The pool is also well maintained on a weekly basis.
