Spacious luxuriously appointed villa sleeping 6/7 people a short drive from the beautiful "Turquoise Coast", with 3 bathrooms, open plan living/dining area, and a well fitted kitchen with quality appliances. Large balconies wrap around the living/dining areas maximizing the mountain and valley views, and overlook the 110 sq.metre pool (shared with just 4 other villas on this delightful complex) and well maintained lawned gardens. The villa has its own garden and patio space, as well as enjoying pretty communal gardens. A short walk brings you to the traditional village of Uzumlu with many snd varied small restaurants, shops, and village life. Above the villa are Roman ruins at Cadianda, a 5C BC beauty spot. The villa is tucked away down a lane amid pine woods, in an exclusive cluster of similar villas thus is very private and away from any crowds, yet being only 20 minutes drive from the attractive bustling harbour town of Fethiye with wonderful coastline beaches and drives, and very clean turquoise sea. The villa is suitable for all ages and also for mobility impaired people. So whether you are active or not there is much to enjoy.

This villa's design is reminiscent of a Swiss chalet. The main living area is open plan, the kitchen is handmade, the two principal bedrooms have en suite wet rooms, and there is an additional family bathroom. The living room has a cedar-clad "cathedral" ceiling, and log fire/woodburner.

There is air conditioning, but we are glad if guests turn it off when out, as electricity in Turkey is expensive!! But away from the coast it's approx 2 degrees cooler, often with a welcome breeze.

We use this house as our own "home from home" so it is well equipped and the fittings are good quality.

Dieses Ferienhaus in Fethiye liegt in der Nähe von Freizeitparks und in den Bergen. Jachthafen von Fethiye und Ece Saray Marina bieten sich an, wenn du etwas unternehmen möchtest. Wer gerne shoppen geht, kommt hier auf seine Kosten: Erasta Fethiye und Fischmarkt Fethiye. Du bist mit Kindern unterwegs? Beautiful Villa fantastic setting!

We had a fantastic family holiday in Villa Taurus. The Villa was immaculately presented and had everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Sarah & Frank were very helpful, provided lots of information before our arrival & even arranged our hire car (a hire car is essential) . The views from the villa are beautiful and we fell in love with Fethiye. Our children loved the pool! We would definitely recommend Villa Taurus for a relaxing holiday.

Lovely villa, wonderful position

I have stayed in Villa Taurus a few times now, always really enjoyed it. It is spacious, comfortable, lovely gardens, big pool, all very well kept. It's a short walk to the village where there are a few good bars, restaurants and little shops, and a short ride to the coast. Fethiye is an interesting place with lots to do, and down the coast there are some wonderful sights such as historic temples, gorge walking, beautiful beaches. The food is great, and travelling around is cheap and easy.

Beautiful villa with stunning views

We have been repeat visitors and Sarah and Frank could not have been more helpful with our stays - they leave lots of information and were very helpful in the run up to our holidays. We have stayed at Villa Taurus both as a couple and a group of friends and it serves both extremely well. The villa is in the most beautiful location with stunning views. It has a lovely character and is very much a home rather than the usual soulless holiday rental. It is also fully equipped with "proper" cutlery/glasses/kitchen equipment rather than rental stuff which is much nicer. The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. The pool is a great size and very private. The villa is set just up the hill but within walking distance of the village which has everything you need for a lovely stay if you didn't want to go anywhere - several restaurants and food shops, a barber, beautician (excellent value) and real "Turkish" charm. A car is necessary but there is also a local bus which is rather fun. The nearest town (Fetiyhe) is a great blend of Turkish and tourist with good shopping but also the sense that you are in Turkey rather than just any mediterranean town. Locals are very friendly and helpful and it is very safe for children. All-in-all we would highly recommend and have visited several times now.

For many years Sarah was CEO of an international development charity for disabled people in the poorest countries of the world and now works as a part-time accountant. We bought this lovely house mainly as a holiday home for ourselves and our adult children, but also wish others to enjoy it. We came to Turkey to learn more about the "crossroads of civilisation" here, where east meets west, and realized that there is so much to do both cultural and leisure, that we could spend the rest of our lives learning about and enjoying the environment - or just relaxing in the sun! At home I have 2 dogs, live in a small Oxfordshire village and like the mix of country pursuits whilst being near good facilities - similar to the villa in Turkey.

Do you like a peaceful area? Are you a walker?

The villa is near a traditional Turkish village but in a tranquil pine forest location a short walk from the village centre - away from any crowds. The house is built in an "alpine" style to match its surroundings which is what attracted us to it. The mountain views are stunning and there are lovely walks - above the villa are Roman remains within walking distance. The villa is in a group of similar properties with lovely gardens and a 110 sq metre pool which is ideal for reasonably energetic swimmers. The nearby town of Fethiye is lively, with an attractive harbour, many good restaurants, a delightful "old town", good shopping and again, more ancient sights right in the centre. The sea is very clean and the views are amazing.

The villa is very spacious and laid out to make the most of the views and sun. Large balconies top and bottom mean you can enjoy the views from the living and bedroom areas, and easily stroll into the gardens. The lawned gardens face east to west so even at the hottest times you can find some shade, but the house is not overshadowed so gets sun all day. The cedar wood panelled vaulted ceiling in the living area is an attractive feature. We have TV, DVD, good CD player, board games, and wifi of course. The living area is open plan and capable of sitting 8 in comfort for dining or around the open log fire for cooler evenings. Bedrooms are a good size with huge cupboards and nicely appointed bathrooms.
